The customer service at this location needs serious change. I went to pick up my reservation and was ignored and the rep walked away. I went the next day and the gentleman put my credit card information in the system wrong and my card was blocked for an hour.
Office customer service is amazing Maintenance not good. After 2 miles the "require oil change sign" came up
Your computer system was down for quite sometime during my visit
we returning van. Uhaul worker proceeded to blame me for dirt in the back of van and wanted to charge me $25.00 to clean. I used van for 3 hours to mover furniture. Van had marks in the back that look old but he insisted it was my fault. I felt strong armed and frankly a cheap move by uhaul.
The location & truck of Uhaul are admirable, but their policy on "gas fuel" I've been screwed three (3) times in my recent rentals. The inflexibility of not returning back to a customer the $35 extra dollars out of their pocket to fill the tank (tank given 1/2 full) or compromising somewhat has left a very bad taste in my mouth. Home Depot trucks for me from now on - I'm DONE with Uhaul.
People were friendly, efficient, straightforward, no pressure, courteous, and service was excellent. Truck was clean, ran well, and the charges had no hidden additions. Best rental I've ever had, and there have been plenty.
Provide a vehicle with not 91,000 miles & with a better working transmission. Most importantly; if consumer doesnt want hand dolly then it should be marked on customers slip as such just like mileage is; that way the returned vehicle knows that the dolly was never provided to consumer.

I did not have a nice experience at locations. Was told something on the phone, then was told something else at locations. Person in charge was very rude to myself and husband, young girls in the front did not have control of situation. I phoned and complained to customer service, (Taryn) she said someone would reach out to us, no one did! I also emailed my comments via contact form, no one called me either!! My husband upon returning the truck explained to the person in the front that truck was dirty. Looks like they may have rented it to someone who had a dog, hair all over the place, and no wiper solution available. Nice to find out when you are on the expressway at 1;00 am. Overall if you are going to strive for greatness and you bother to send out these surveys, get your game on. Otherwise there is really no point!

The van smelled like a horse stable and there were ants everywhere.
Charging $50 for 2 gallons of gas is a nonsense. The day I did the reservation they told me that they have enough dollies but the day I picked up the truck they say they don't have the furniture Dolly available for rent so I had to buy it. I was short 2 gallons of gas and they charged $30 for the fee and $20 to fill that 2 gallons, the Gas station is across the street. I never wrote a review, but they pissed me off big time.
Mike in the front desk has poor customer service skills. Rude to customers on phone and to myself as well. You need someone with more people skills representing your company

customer service was very bad, the ladie in the counter, never answered my questions, the old men at the time to return the van, was with very bad actitud. I'm very desapoiment. I used that location before and was good.
Overall, this location is good. The employees are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Parking could be improved. The check-in process is slow, even if you check in on the app beforehand; I hope this process can be improved.
the van was clean however it has a message on the dashboard to change engine oil.
Clean the vans/truck. There were a bunch of big ants. Also if the reservation is for 24 hours them you shouldn't charge customers for dropping it early overnight. . I got charged $20 cause I took it back after hours. Ridiculous.
Though everyone at this U-Haul facility was friendly enough, I did not have a good experience. I reserved my truck using the Mobile Pick-Up option on my phone. I got everything set up, and when I got to U-Haul of Dadeland, I followed all of the steps on my phone so that all I needed to do was get the key and drive away. Except it didn't work out that way. I was made to get in a long line, even though I showed them that I had the reservation all set on my phone. When I finally got to the counter, the gentleman made me go through everything again, even though I showed him that I had already done it on my phone. I got there before 10 AM (my reserved time), thinking I'd be driving away in 10 minutes. Instead, I was driving away more than 45 minutes later. When I returned the truck (about an 1 1/2 hours earlier than scheduled), the gentleman told me he was emailing my receipt. I never got it. I had to call when I got home, wait 20 minutes for someone to come on the line, and that person, whose name was Alesha (and the only hero of this story), emailed it right away. She also told me that I'd been charged for gas, even though I filled it past the point that I'd been told to (1/4 tank). Alesha refunded that amount. Other than Alesha, I was not treated the way I had expected to be treated at U-Haul of Dadeland. Next time, I'll go with Penske, where I've never had any issues.
I can't remember the last time I rented a UHaul truck, and was not looking forward to it since my brother recently rented one at another location and had a bad experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that from the reservation through the return it was an excellent experience. From the professionalism of the staff to the quality of the vehicle, I was very impressed and will use this business again.
