Overall, this location is good. The employees are professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. The facilities are clean and well maintained. Parking could be improved. The check-in process is slow, even if you check in on the app beforehand; I hope this process can be improved.

Clean the vans/truck. There were a bunch of big ants. Also if the reservation is for 24 hours them you shouldn't charge customers for dropping it early overnight. . I got charged $20 cause I took it back after hours. Ridiculous.

Though everyone at this U-Haul facility was friendly enough, I did not have a good experience. I reserved my truck using the Mobile Pick-Up option on my phone. I got everything set up, and when I got to U-Haul of Dadeland, I followed all of the steps on my phone so that all I needed to do was get the key and drive away. Except it didn't work out that way. I was made to get in a long line, even though I showed them that I had the reservation all set on my phone. When I finally got to the counter, the gentleman made me go through everything again, even though I showed him that I had already done it on my phone. I got there before 10 AM (my reserved time), thinking I'd be driving away in 10 minutes. Instead, I was driving away more than 45 minutes later. When I returned the truck (about an 1 1/2 hours earlier than scheduled), the gentleman told me he was emailing my receipt. I never got it. I had to call when I got home, wait 20 minutes for someone to come on the line, and that person, whose name was Alesha (and the only hero of this story), emailed it right away. She also told me that I'd been charged for gas, even though I filled it past the point that I'd been told to (1/4 tank). Alesha refunded that amount. Other than Alesha, I was not treated the way I had expected to be treated at U-Haul of Dadeland. Next time, I'll go with Penske, where I've never had any issues.

I can't remember the last time I rented a UHaul truck, and was not looking forward to it since my brother recently rented one at another location and had a bad experience. I was pleasantly surprised to find that from the reservation through the return it was an excellent experience. From the professionalism of the staff to the quality of the vehicle, I was very impressed and will use this business again.

I had a great experience with Uhaul in general and with this location specifically. The location was clean and in great condition. The van I rented was in great shape and readily available. I loved the reservation guarantee. It gave me a lot of comfort in making a reservation. The gentlemen who checked my van in and out was very professional as was the agent who handled my check in and contract progress. This is a whole new Uhaul from what I remembered. Well done.

The only issue I had was that the truck I was assigned had a mechanical issue so I had to wait for a new one to be assigned.

I felt used & extremely disappointed that I filled the truck with gas when it was given to me 1/2 full; yet the UHaul BS policy didn't cooperate in pro-rating an amount back to my account. I gave UHaul corporation $35 of our church money for our garage sale because of this rule. So I'm supposed to leave the truck running to measure 1/2 full? Isnt it easier to give truck full & fill it up? Just a lame rule.

I rented the trailer for the full day and I had till 9/12 to return it by 6pm and I brought it back 20mins before that and the guy working the returns charged me for two days instead of one and when I tried to explain to him that he didn't care and was extremely rude and disrespectful by being really sarcastic! He didn't even help me take off the trailer and I had to back it up and remove all the chains and cord and lift that heavy trailer off!!! He told me show me in your contract and I explain to him I throw it away and he didn't care making me feel like a lair!! I believe it's the culture that the store manager created!! now that I see my contact that was sent to me I shows that I had till 6pm to return my trailer!!!!! So why did I get charged for two days!!!

Get rid of the “customer dispatch” area. What a terrible process. I paid inside and waited forever to get my vehicle instead of just grabbing it like every other u-haul. This process gives the yard jockey an inflated sense of power. Paying customers don't like being treated like prisoners- getting yelled at to stand in a stupid spot. Of course everything goes slower once the yard jockey gets mad you're not in the assigned standing area. Also, it's not even possible to social distance in a cramped tent area like that. The service agents inside were great at least.

We were originally supposed to pick up the equipment from U-Haul of North Miami. After receiving a call the afternoon before pick up, we were notified that the truck we reserved was not there but that a truck would be available for us when we arrive. The General manger of the North Miami store had a very nonchalant attitude with each customer that came into the store. After finding out there were no one way trucks available for us we were sent way down south to pick up a truck causing an even more inconvenience. My move was going north not south. I'm sure the manager could have found a better location to accommodate us. I highly doubt I'll use U-Haul for my next move.

Extremely upset at being charged a RIDICULOUS $30 Fill up fee. Car was given to me at a quarter tank and I filled it up to a quarter tank and was slightly below the meter. This is an absurd charge and it's a lose/lose any way you think of it. Either I spent my own money to fill it above a quarter tank giving uhaul free gas or don't fill it up and be charged an absurd deem I was also running to get to work on time and no help or understanding. Will be taking my business to Penske, Budget or even enterprise. Horrible customer experience.
