I arrived st closing but the man on duty directed me to go to uhaul.com to check in the trailer. No guidance. No assistance. No help. Surly attitude. I watched a video on how to leave equipment, followed direction and left.

In hindsight this was totally my fault; I thought,"How hard could it be to drive a car up on a car mover?" Well, it turned out to be a little harder than it looked. I also rented a moving truck for a trip across country. I packed up the truck, and had the U-Haul guys hook up the trailer. Then they took off and left me to get my car up on the mover. I didn't quite get it right, and the car had a little mishap and one of the wheels fell off the ramp and I couldn't move my car, and I had to get a tow truck to get it unstuck. The car wasn't really damaged, but it was frustrating. The tow truck guy was understanding and guided me as I drove the car onto the car mover the "right" way. It would've been nice if the U-Haul guys whom I rented all the equipment from did the same, but now I know.

Everything works out well. If you maintain the 55MPH it does not over tax the engine and transmission. The only thing that is taxed is you patients as the other cars pass you. However, it is better safe than sorry.

Went online to have confirmation to rent a van, the person taking my order was efficient, gave her my card number she said everything was fine, got to the rental place and had to wait a half-hour. My pickup time was at 12:00 on didn't get the van until going on 1:00pm, it was a mess

I was told to disconnect and place the car hauler in place and go inside. Inside I was told they need to check the lights and I had to go back outside and reconnect the trailer and pull in out front of the store so they could check the lights. I feel they could have checked the continuity on the lights circuits without making a 63 year old man disconnect and reconnect the trailer in 93 degree afternoon heat. To say the least I was not a happy customer that will go out of my way to use your competition from now on. I felt the staff was lazy, rude and very disorganized. My truck windshield was very dirty and was an issue when it got dark outside. Also the console had something spilled in it that had dried. The floor had dried footprints all over it too. I did not notice these issues until the truck was packed and I was on the road. That aside, the people were knowledgeable and very helpful and I would use them again. However, I'd check the truck cleanliness better !

I was forced to pay the $10 collision coverage, as insurance deposit was not accepted via my Visa card. I was NOT told/made aware online when I booked (without the insurance coverage) that in order to avoid this fee, CASH deposit of deductible /proof of deductible had to be provided! This is NONSENSE! Who goes around with $500 cash in their pocket. FULL DISCLOSURE needs to be made upfront OR change your rate to the correct amount of $29.95....because that's what customers pay! I was planning on using U-Haul 2 more times in the near recent future but I will be looking at other options.

When I picked up the truck I had to wait in line for 30+ minutes behind two other people because only had one staff member working. He remarked he was down a staffer due to illness. Nice guy though. My contract stated I was to return to a Stop N Go Chevron at 10526 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32817. When I got there the guy told me that he did not have room for it (even though I did not see a single UHaul vehicle on the premises) and that I needed to take it to UHaul 1.6 miles down the road at corner of Alafaya and E. Colonial address: 11815 E Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL 32826. So I took it there and the guys checking vehicles in told me I had to go inside and speak to a manager. The manager told me they were not taking drop offs and I had to call the 1-800 number on my contract. I could not find a 1-800 number for UHaul so I called 321-254-7933. The person I spoke with pulled up my contract and said my drop off address was 4001 E. Colonial even though the printed contract that I had indicated the Stop N Go Chevron was the drop off location. She said that somebody at UHaul must have changed the drop off location and did not notify me. So I drove the truck some 9 miles down the road in stop and go traffic and successfully dropped it off at 4001 E. Colonial. After loading and unloading 3 bedroom apartment I was not in the mood to go on a wild goose chase for an hour and have to visit three different UHaul locations just to drop off the truck. It could clearly been avoided if someone form UHual had just contacted me to give me the updated drop off address.

The owner/manager Tony seems to think it is fine to do his chores while customers are waiting over an hour to get a rental truck at the counter. Then he actually picked up the phone to chat while people were waiting in line for service. If that wasn't enough he made up some BS 3rd party ID verification to mess his already pissed off customers. I have never seen this type of rude, lazy service in any business. Needless to say, I won't be back to that store under any circumstances.

Upon arrival were greeted rudely and told we couldn't unload our car in a specific spot, how were we to know. Someone could have greeted us when we pulled up and provided instructions, instead someone passing by with a hand cart gave us a nasty attitude about it calling me "champ" and kept right on walking by. The next person who came was very helpful and prompt, but what a way to be greeted after 2 days on the road in a dirty U-haul and upon entering your new town. My suggestion, next time someone pulls into your drop off lane, greet them and provide clear instructions. Over all The pick-up and drop off were both very unorganized and stressful, something not needed during a long move and after many moves of exclusively using U-Haul I am sad to say I am done and we will be going with a different company next time.

After being a customer for over 30 years, I am extremely disappointed and will probably never deal with U-Haul again, your store manager Mark , He's a pre-Madonna that is more concerned with the fact that he's a a/C in his office is been off for a few days then to help his customers, I was charge double , I was instructed to login to U-Haul.com upon my return I return the trailer 23 hours after I used it I log into U-Haul.com they sent me a code which code number I put into this into the site, I have pictures and I have documentation a text I got from U-Haul with a confirmation code, your manager pretty much took a F you attitude about it and refuse to explain or to fix it I will see him or you in small claims court I refuse to pay for an extra day that I did not use !

There was no A/C in the building and the employees made no attempt to speed up the check in/ rental process, leaving a line of sweaty customers. Then since we didn’t get sweaty enough inside employees made the customers perform their own equipment checks on the vehicles outside. Was just waiting to be asked to check the oil and perform tune up while I was there. The best part was being informed that the gas gauge needle wasn’t exactly touching the line so had to be charged extra.
