I am being charged an extra day when I was told I would not be charged an extra day. The only way to correspond is through email and I haven't heard back about my desire to have fees reversed. To be fair, it's only been 4 hours since I sent my correspondence. At the very least, it would be nice to have an automated email reply to my email that says my email has been received and info about how long I can expect to wait until I get a response. I would prefer a customer phone number at most. I am really hoping for an expedited response and refund.

Advertising signs for uHaul was small so easy to miss where to drop the truck off. Went around the block before spotting the sign by the propane tank. Customer service was â€œokâ€ - attendant struggled with knowing how to check me in and my U-Haul app could not figure out location so I couldn't complete the check in process on my phone. After a long day of traveling and loading/unloading the truck, this just added to my frustration
No one should ever rent from uhaul in my opinion. When we dropped it off noone was there to help. Noone knew what to do with it! I went online to check out but there wasnt any service, so i tried from home... but i had to be at the rental lot for it to work. So i called customer service... they couldnt help... so i went back in town and after walking around found a nearly hidden drop off box for the keys and left them there hoping for the best amazingly someone seems to have checked me out so i can leave a review! What a joke from start to finish. Never heard back from the managers that told me they'd contact me about my numerous complaints... nice customer service. May as well hand the phone to a cat.
The experience was unfortunate. Charged almost $50 more then what I was suppose to accidentally filled the tank instead of stopping it at the pump to return to actual gas that was in it not their fault but a reinbursment would havr been cool. on top of that they don't know how to do uhaul rentals as they asked ME how to return it. Only ONE person can do it? If you're gonna have a u-haul in another business, it'd be appropriate for more than one person to be able to handle issues. 5 days later get notified the vehicle was never marked as returned (not cool) With this experience I will steer people AWAY from this place to rent a uhaul.
The lady who completed the paperwork is very nice and very helpful. I think she just needs more training on the rental application and time will do that for her. We had no issues with her at all and thought she handled the frustrations of being new at it, very well. If the next rental we have on contract 89501190 coming out of Shelton goes as well.
Employees need to be better trained with rental equipment and services provided at this location. The first employee told me they didn't want to check anything out on the equipment provided so they called the Uhaul dispatch and handed me the phone.we thought everything was good to go but then ran into another issue and the employee just handed me the key and said "that must be the vehicle because it's the only truck out there" I then asked for a contract like I had received at previous Uhaul providers and they the (cheema employee) said "well everything is on your phone" and "it looks good to me." I told them "no. I'm not taking the vehicle without final confirmation that everything is good on my end." I then had to do my own check out on my phone but the app was glitchy and by now I'm already 30 min late with moving and I showed up 15 min prior to checkout. When returning the vehicle a different employee did the check in but again the app was glitchy and the employee was unsure how to check it in and the process and steps to take while checking in the vehicle. This review is for the location that provided the Uhaul not directed at Uhaul but you should be providing proper training for those locations using and advertising your services to prevent any loss of customers in the future.
No one was there to assist in the selection or the hooking up process of the trailer I rented. I had to hook it up and assume all was well. I was incorrectly charged and had to get assistance with the correction.
The check-in person verified that I ordered a one-way to Vancouver, then he for some unknown reason changed it to having the equipment returned to them in McCleary. That cleared out my original pricing, and created a HUGE headache for me when I tried to return it to the Vancouver location that I had specified when I placed the order.
I had a reservation already done and the girl working at Cheema pulled it up online and erased the information so she had to call the Uhaul to have them help her amidst her waiting on her customers and it was 11: 00 when I got there and nearly one before I could get the truck on the road, very disappointing deal.
The drop off was easy and the employee made note of my concerns when dropping off the trailer.

She was wonderful. Apparently, I was not scheduled to drop it there but she took it anyways and said she would find my paperwork later and call if there was a problem. She didn't call
I ordered a 10' truck, got a 15' truck & they charged me more then I was told I'd be charged.
They couldn't print my contract. It was emailed and I took a photo of the front page. I wasn't told I should keep track of the gas I put in the truck. When asked how much gas I put in, I under stated the amount by 6 gallons which at $3.59 a gallon adds up. I wasn't told the policy on mileage or the amount charged per mile, so when the cost went from the estimate $56 to $106 I was in shock. I won't be using this location again and if I can avoid it, I doubt if I will use U-Haul again either.
Well for some reason when I got there to pick up the truck they had nothing in there system with my reservation so after 40 minutes they finally called uhaul and you guys said my pick location was east county rentals. My emails and texts all said Cheema Market so there is a problem within your system. I am upset this took so long and it was not the fault of the people at Cheema Market this was a mistake on your part. I should the people all of my emails and texts that all said my location was Cheema not East county rentals. Im not happy about that.
The windows were iced over and the rear door was frozen shut. I had to buy an ice scraper. The truck was not ready for use. Took me 15 minutes before I could drive it. I ordered blankets, only received 3.
I had some questions about hooking up the 5x8 trailer but was told they couldn't help me. The person who could help me wasn't available for an hour. Maybe it would be smart to educate the other employees.
The employee on duty had no training renting Uhaul vehicles. The employees who did were either on vacation or unavailable. I had a deadline as I had movers showing up. She finally handed me a key, yelled a number at me, which was the number of the truck, ran out, looked at the gas gauge (which read 7/8 full), said "Yep, it's full" while I was objecting but I needed the truck NOW. So I just got in and met my movers. When i returned the vehicle, and filled it with gas, the gas gauge read 1/8 tank past full. So the original reading was short approx 1/4 tank of gas. And at 3.49 a gallon, that's a considerable amount. But the truck drove smoothly and did what I needed. I just feel that the experience could have been much better and I felt a bit cheated at the overcharge on the gas.
Clerk was not trained, the check out took 30 min. With a fully checked out and prepaid reservation.
Have someone there that knows how to do the Uhaul rentals. I waited for 1 1/2 hours after my original pickup time and they finally called someone and completed the rental over the phone.
No one was at location to assist with pickup. I did online pickup and still couldn't get key as no one was at location. Vehicle was not full of gas and windshield wipers were in poor condition. Vehicle did not give a clean appearance. Once someone finally showed up for UHaul at the location (over an hour late), he tried to be very accommodating and helpful.
you dropped the ball on my reservation,more then 3 hours out of my way, promised a discount and that connecting reservations would still be in place, DID NOT HAPPEN AT EVERY TURN YOU PROMISED TO MAKE IT BETTER AND IT GOT WORSE,,, I CALLED TO TALK AND WAS LIED TO. I did all paperwork and paid 2 weeks in advance. When I arrived to pick up my uhaul no one at the location had been trained or knew the first thing to do so I could take my truck. It took over an hour and many phone calls before I could take truck. Why spend the time to reserve and do paperwork? It saved no time.
