Twice I was notified that the equipment I originally reserved was either not available or not in the location listed on the reservation site. As a result, I had to make multiple trips (an additional 400 miles worth). Another issue was the brakes, which were going out, as well as a faulty tow sensor, which made driving down steep incline challenging.

The truck was fine but the back didn’t look like it had been swept out after the last rental before me and there was a couple of string “tie-downs” left that were all knotted so I had to cut them out. Otherwise the truck was great and the staff at Smokey Point Self Storage wasn’t greatvto deal with as well! Thanks!

The manager Fhil, was amazing he called U-Haul for me and everything and told them charge me so many different fees too take them off. But unfortunately U-Haul has still not.!!! I had nothing but problems first they didn’t have the truck they promised U-Haul then they charged me all these extra charges. Then they told me the day before to drop it off at a place that wasent even open!!! Never again!!

I have to say this was a very poor experience...I don’t want to say anything poor of the location in smoky point...he was nice....however it was no where near the reservation I booked 45 min each way out of my way....If I didn’t call in to confirm my equipment rental ....I would have showed up to the location and have no equipment...this was a very important move for my mother in law....for her house sold and we had to have her out that weekend....I had to take time off work and rearrange not only my schedule but many others...I couldn’t imagine what the situation would have been if I had shown up to the location I scheduled for to have no moving equipment....I couldn’t imagine getting her moved and what it would have done to the fine people I had lined up to help this move...I thought it to be ironic on a plaque in the office in smoky point the mission statement says we do what we say...I had to take a sec and understand how far from the truth that was....I got a 50$ credit for my trouble...I found that to be 2 hrs off work cost me much more than that..not to say all the inconvenience....I am very disappointed with the communication the non caring aditude that my situation was not U-Hauls situation...even though it was something U-Haul created....

We had less than a quarter tank of gas in the Truck when we picked it up. Also, Uhaul changed our pick up location three times within 72 hours. SO FRUSTRATING. Terrible experience.

Drop off location was sympathetic and excellent. I will use their storage services but will never rent Uhaul through their location or anywhere else. Sad for them to not get the commission, the man I spoke with was very friendly.

I initially made a reservation through the 800 call center as I was instructed to do by a local dealer. The call center then instructed me to complete the registration online through a link that he was going to send, which I did. I included all of my info and paying info. Two hours before I was going to pick up the van I received a call from the local dealer who told me that the van was given to someone else who had called the call center that morning. WHAT?! I was then directed to another facility out of my way which involved alot heavier traffic. The local dealer said that there was nothing she could do about it. I don't think so. When she was informed about another party taking the van from the call center I believe she should have stood her ground and protect her customer and have them redirect the new party to another dealer. I then called the call center myself and was redirected to a reservation manager who explained that whoever made the reservation with the new party did not see that I had an online reservation already made. What's the point of having the online reservation if they aren't going to look for it?! I ended up having to recall the reservation center and change mine newly made one from a very inconvienent dealer to another which was closer.Mind you, these phone calls all had a waiting period of at least 15-20 minutes. I was very unhappy with the service. I initially wanted a 10 to 15ft truck but there were none available at all within a 25 mile radius out of at least 30 dealers. The van they talked me into getting was suppose to hold a queen mattress set, couch, and dresser, as an example of the holding size. It was nothing close to holding that much. HUGE disappointment all the way around!!! I will NEVER use U-Haul again!!

I just want to express my appreciation for this location being flexible, and helping to correct an error made by some central "traffic" department of Uhaul. The location personnel understood how stressful it was for me to deal with the added hassle from Uhaul's mistake, but stayed calm and friendly with me, and really helped improve my morning. Wonderful staff and Clean equipment



I reserved my U-haul for pick-up at BullDog in Smokey Point, but they sent me to they called Anchor Storage which was difficult to find since it was no longer using that business name. I should have been notified of the location change before I arrived. Also, U-haul had added an unwarranted e-alert to my name which further wasted my time. Additonally, my rental truck needed new windshield wipers which made for a long and dangerous rainy drive from Washington to Oregon, made for poor visibilty accompanied by a horrible chattering. Windshield wipers are a safety item and should be replaced often, especially in the winter.

Van was dirty, I was hauling a mattress and thank goodness I bought a mattress bag. Mud on running panels, floor of front. Mud and brush, pine needles in back of van.
