We had ordered 2 dozen blankets - they had only 8. One mirror on the truck was broken. A message that the left front tire needed air came on immediately, and never went off.

I dropped off the rental on Saturday as agreed but the office was closed when the hours on the website indicates open. I called and spoke to a worker when I called to confirm they were open but the jentelman suggested to just leave the trailer in the lot which was fine but I got charged almost 30 dollars for an additional day. This does not seem fair in my eyes.

Location was changed the day before and cause me to drive 18 miles back and forth out of my way to pick up. Said the truck would be ready at 9 a.m. I arrived at nine and employee didn’t arrive until 10 minutes later.

The drop off was easy to do but unfortunately they were closed on Sundays the day I dropped off the truck so I can’t comment on staff because no one was there

The office was abandoned (at 3pm) the key drop box looked as if it had been vandalized. I was charged an extra day, even though I returned the equipment a day early.

I used the app to pick up the truck. The truck was not in the rear lot as depicted in the photograph on the app. As I was picking it up after dark on a frigid night, this was problematic because I walked around on the icy parking lot in the dark looking for a truck that turned out to be parked near the road. I also found the app to be annoying. I didn't like how long I had to wait to have my photo and license verified - especially since I was waiting in the dark in 0degree weather.

I have an out of state license and that caused a heap of trouble with picking up. I was required to upload into the app some proof of an address in MA. I dont live in MA though.....my parents do and I'm moving stuff out of their house. Asking me to come up with proof of my MA address on the stop is crazy. Even more crazy is that I had to take a LIVE picture of the proof..could not take screen shots of docs I had on my phone nor upload docs/pics I already had on my phone. Thankfully my wife was with me and we were finally able to find an old doc from when we lived in MA. I had to email it to her and then take a picture of it pulled up on HER phone. Terrible workflow. All in it took us 45 min to pickup the vehicle, putting us behind schedule. Additionally, I had no idea that this was going to be a self serve checkin. I had received a text the day before with info and none of it mentioned that it would be self serve. Would have been nice to know ahead of time, esp bc my phone dies quickly and I was lucky enough that I had enough battery to get through the checkin.

When I arrived my equipment was not on site. I was informed that it hadn't been returned and that I needed to call dispatch. I did that and was given a run around about an alternative. Finally dispatch agreed to allow me to take a much smaller piece of equipment and that they would locate me another piece for the following day. This all delayed me well over an hour. When I called to check in mid-day on the transfer of equipment I was told I would still need to return that, and that they were not guaranteeing me a transfer. My original order was for 2 days. This required me to contact corporate Uhaul Customer Service (via twitter, and eventually a follow up call) to appeal allowing me to keep the equipment. The entire process was a nightmare, causing me extra stress, wasted time and multiple trips. To add insult to injury, I was charged nearly double my contracted amount, which was a result of having to put on incremental miles since my original order was not fulfilled. This is the last time I will use Uhaul. Very disappointing.

I had the cargo trailer reserved at 9am. At 9:45 the office was still closed -- nobody inside. In the time I was waiting, two others had shown up and said the location does this all the time and they left for other locations. I called the main number and was able to leave with the cargo trailer but checking it on with the person on the phone. At noon, I received a call from this location asking if I had the trailer. I assume that's when someone finally arrived at the location.

My on-line app could not find my location through my smart phone. You need a way when not finding the location to allow me to type in the location. I had to wait for the office to open and the manager of the office was excellent at getting me on the road quickly. He was waiting for a long time on my existing pre-order for docs to print. Finally he just created a new reservation and got me on my way and I got a cancellation notice later to my original on-line reservation. Kudos to him.

On line check in with cell phone was horrible. Didn't work. Needed to call local office who handled it great. Uhaul's web based system needs a serious overhaul!
