I came to the store and there was a guy with brown hair and he was wearing glasses. This guy has a bad way in dealing with his customers. He was shouting at me and didn't even give me a chance to talk to him. After that, he called the customer service and was talking to them in a polite way while I am standing in front of him and told them that I am mad at him! Then, I was mad and told him "now I am mad". After finishing the call, I gave him the key. He called me "a piece of shit" and "terrorist". I left the store and he followed me to outside at the parking. I didn't feel safe there. I called the customer service and reported what happened there. At that store, I received a bad service ever that I received in whole my life. You should do an investigation with that guy who is working there. I'm a customer. I'm NOT a piece of shit and I'm NOT a terrorist. And I don't think UHaul want a guy working for them and dealing with their customers in that way!

the blankets I rented weren't in truck or giving to me in the office, in hindsight I probably should have checked back of truck also.

Second time using Uhaul service at this location, but this time I have been charged for gas refilled $8.50 (only driven 5 miles) although I did fill the gas for a gallon before returning in. I have told the sales the level of the gas wasn’t accurate when I returned the key to him at the counter (he was busy with customer he didn’t pay attention on this) I tried to explain to him the situation next day returning the office but got yell at the counter and I left with unhappiness. This was my first time writing negative review. Just want everyone using Uhaul to be careful with the Fuel level that indicates on the paper which sometimes wasn’t 100% exact same level as showed. Anyways, I think the representative shouldn’t yell at customer because it was your responsibility to provide solution and resolve it. I don’t think I will return to this location again for truck for third time. Not a happen ending this time.

Not satisfied with this experience. I was very specific over the phone when making my reservation for the auto transport. I needed the 7500lbs auto transport but when I got there, they had stuck me with the 6000lbs one. My vehicle does not fit properly even though your system says so.

This location was very helpful in getting me offloaded. I had a very frustrating time at the original location I was told to visit, but I believe it was not this locations fault, but an issue with their Arizona central call/coordination center. I was told by the general U-Haul phone line that any one of the TWO branches I visited in the area would be able to receive my equipment and offload me. After visiting my SECOND drop off location, I found neither could help. I had to pay for an Uber to and from an area Lowe's store to buy 2x6 lumber 8' long. I brought this lumber back in my Uber to this location to where they helped me offload my vehicle. Why can't U-Haul prepare their locations for this kind of need? Is it that uncommon? Why, when I call the morning of to explain this need in ADVANCE, do I get flat out lies saying there will be no issue and my designated drop off location will be able to help? Why should it take getting turned away from one branch and then a second and involving an Uber and a Lowe's to get a vehicle offloaded (that U-Haul loaded in Chicago successfully without issue)? I don't blame the branches I visited, but I do have a grudge against the call centers that flat out told me a lie when telling me they were set up to receive me.

I needed a van. Simple. Both vans I was given had mileage way over what was on the registration and 1 had a warning light for the tires. Needless to say I cancelled the transaction because I was so frustrated with the equipment. The agent was assigned there, not her permanent location, but I could feel her frustration too. That location needs major help.

On a Saturday morning there was only one person working the counter. As a result it took 40 minutes to get a truck. The man at the counter (GM), was rude to customers in line and definitely displayed that he didn't want to be there. Upon returning the truck, I opted to have U-Haul refill the tank. I drove a total of 13 miles on a truck that Uhaul states gets 12 MPGs. I was then charged for 3.5 gallons of gas. WTH? Did that truck really return 3.7 MPGs when the it should be around 12? If so, then Uhaul should take a look at that engine. Upon pointing this fact out the GM, all he could say was "well they have their calculation." Next time I will be going down the street to the other location.

Maybe include one more employee onsite on weekends . There were people in line behind me that waited 30 + minutes .

My only other comment is that it was very confusing as to which location I was supposed to return the truck. I had a "preferred return location" listed on my confirmation email, but it was not clear that I was supposed to actually return there. Overall, an unnecessarily stressful experience.

Grado:

Make more clear when furniture pads will be charged for. Our truck contained 2 "sealed" packages of pads and one loose pad. While we didn't need any of the pads, it was unclear at what point we would start being changed for the pads if we decided that we needed them.

Was surprised to have gotten a truck on the 1st of the month during College Week. I ariver late for my reservation but a truck was available and that was surprising. Uhaul has come a long way since the late 90's/early 2000's.

Grado:

Self drop off was excellent. Location was busy so difficult to rate per the above. But again -- this was not my primary choice of drop off location. I was forced to come here versus a more convenient location closer to whee I was. This is a clear case of getting the equipment to suit uhaul versus customer convenience. Everything about the rental was excellent except being fleeced to chase the truck versus it being convenient. I know this is a particularly busy time but I wouldn't use uhaul again because of this.
