I want to state from the beginning that the attendant was as helpful as she could be given that some things happened that were likely out of her control. When I made the reservation in person at this location, I never received an email confirmation from U-Haul. On a subsequent visit, the attendant provided me with a paper copy. On pick-up day, I got to the location and was told that my reservation had been canceled. Again, I never received an email or phone call notification of the cancellation. Fortunately, the attendant worked with other local U-Haul facilities and after more than an hour's delay I was eventually able to rent a unit. Failing to keep a customer informed of changes in reservation status is an unacceptable business practice that needs to be addressed.

I am extremely displeased with the additional fees I was charged. My husband turned in the truck unaware of the additional fees. I was going to refuel the vehicle prior to it being returned. However, my husband returned the truck, unaware of the fees, before I could do so. I will NOT use U-haul again!

One issue I had was the mirrors it took a few minutes to move them they were stuck and being manual there are no controls to move them on the inside. Please let the customers know this to avoid accidents

The overall experience was terrible. I rented a truck online late at night due to the fact that I sleep during the day and work overnight. My husband got the confirmation in the morning but it was to a location 40 minutes from my house. I canceled that reservation and made another for a closer location different from the first one I picked and again we got sent to the wrong location. I canceled that reservation and called customer service, they set me up with a truck smaller than I needed but I took what I could get. The representative I spoke to put me on hold and spoke with the scheduling manager to get me additional miles being that I had to drive 30 miles in the truck just to get it to my house before even moving to my new house which was 28 Miles the other direction. I was moving from one city to another and was told that the truck would be dropped off in the city I was moving to with a total of 89 miles before being charged. I was told every mile after that was $.49 and I agreed to the terms. When we got to the location to pick the truck up they started a new reservation because they said the truck we were renting was their truck and it had to be brought back to that same location. 50+ miles from my destination. She told me she did not see the 50 mike credit but that it would get taken care of when the truck was returned. None of this happened and I was charged $1.29 for every mile I drove with zero free miles. Completely unfair that I feel like I was tricked into U-Haul making $238 off of me for a 15ft truck

The pricing is misleading. Look at the pricing posted on the trucks and then look at your total bill, and you will understand what I state here. Good service, trucks in good shape, but deceptive advertising. If another rental company were in town, I would consider taking my business elsewhere.
