While calling the lusby uhaul on cove point road a week in advance to reserve the truck staff was unable to assist and asked for us to call back another day. Multiple locations did not know how to reserve the truck for more than a 24 hour period. After finding someone who could assist on reserving the truck which took several days we called the morning of pickup to confirm location and time of pickup. When arriving at the location given they did not have the truck. They searched thier data base and said they had no record of our reservation for a truck at any location. We called back the number we reserved it from and we're directed to a different location where we did pick up the truck. The truck worked great for our moving purposes but wouldn't start the next morning to drop it off. Staff showed up promptly to assist with jumping the truck and getting it started. We we're not charged with not being able to replace the gas since we could not shut the truck off on the way to return.

Before renting consult your auto insurance policy to verify the amount of coverage your policy has for rental vehicles. During pickup U-Haul asks all renters to select one of the three insurance options. "Base" insurance, "premium" insurance, and "reimburse U-Haul directly for damage." It is difficult to make a good decision during pickup without some research.

Representative was somewhat rude. I was told by uhaul that I could keep the truck an additional day if needed but this location called demanding they needed the truck prior to 2pm. When I had not even gotten all my stuff out the uhaul. Then he was rude when I got the truck to him bc rhe truck was previously damaged.

I was told by uHaul on the phone that they would open at 7. They open at 8. Then, when they did open, the computers were down. It took almost another hour before I could get out of there. The workers were sympathetic -- but I lost a lot of time on what was going to be a very long day...

They wrongly charged for two gallons of gas. The form said 7/8 and when I went out to the truck it was reading 3/4. The U-Haul person checking me out in Falls Church changed it on the form and initialed the change. But after I dropped it off (that night), with a tad over 3/4 in the tank, they still charged me for two gallons. Very greedy and wrong.

There was so much pollen inside the cab from previous customer(s). Also over 119k miles on truck...believe the original wiper blades are installed. Windshield does not wipe clean when used.

My entire experience was awesome, from the call ahead reservation to the equipment return. Every step of the process was handled efficiently and accurately. I'd love to see a 'frequent renter' program to reward ppl who use u-haul repeatedly. Definitely an A+ outfit!

Make necessary repairs to vehicles. Workers said back of Truck was disaster when it only had 2 foot size pieces of cardboard back there. Charged me $25 for a cleaning. Radio didn’t work when I advised he told me they don’t rent radios they rent trucks. Worst customer service I’ve ever experienced and I try to use uhaul for many of my rental needs. I will be shopping around from now on.

The sign at the drop off location says to stay with your equipment and someone will be out with you soon. I waited for 15 minutes in my truck and no one came out. I walked inside only to find the associate behind a wall working on something.

I thought the rate for the van was $19.99/day plus $.39/mile after 150 included miles. Instead, I was charged a rate of $80/day (plus the mileage). I am unsure why the rate changed from what I was quoted.
