Park trucks tail in so when removing from the lot it is easier. The way the trucks are now you cannot see behind the truck to back up.

Fire the two incompetent employees that helped me they made me late and I had no use for the vehicle that I rented because of that. Now I know that I will just go to another moving and storage company will not return. I was very upset it took them 45 mins to rent me a van to pick something up which intern I couldn't pick up anymore because of how long it took very unprofessional.

Horrible service... think about being disappointed on your big day when you rely on services the most. Moving day! I reserved a 27ft truck & when I called prior regarding my reservation they did not have the larger size. It's more of a waste of time rather than a waste of money. And speaking of money they would not honor a gift certificate that I had. Bill was horrible...no customer service at all. He initially told me no they don't honor gift certificates than told me I could wait 30 minutes for another employee to arrive & she may be able to reverse the charges, than he told me I had to call the 1-800 number. When Bill Castana asked who I spoke to initially when I picked up the truck I couldn’t remember the name so I referenced my receipt which had the persons signiture on it, well guess what... one of his employees that probably isn’t on payroll signed in the place of Bill. When the employee walked back in I asked his name, than they started speaking in Spanish right in front of me. The startled look on his face was priceless when I told him I speak Spanish as well , but we were all just speaking in English, so why the change? Extremely rude & unprofessional. Also as I was leaving another customer was walking through the door screaming & cursing at the top of her lungs about her interaction with this Uhaul location. Just a horrible experience all the way around.

After arriving at Lake Worth, I called the 800# and he told me to return the truck to this location. When I arrived a very young man yelled at me and said you can't return the truck here you need to go elsewhere. I spoke to the desk clerk she would not process the return , then she said leave the truck. No inspection was done and paperwork given to me but she took the key. The young man said we have nothing to do with uhaul and you will have to pay a transfer charge. I told their business card so that I had proof I returned the truck there during business hours. I will start renting trucks that I need from Penske from now on. I don't think customers should be treated this way. My wife was getting ready to call the police, when the desk clerk said I could leave the key with her.

The tires needed air....a message appeared as I was driving to have a maintenance check. The van also needed to be washed. Customer service was very good. I will use this u-haul store again and tell people if they need to rent a truck or van to use this location

Overall was okay. The miscue of the reservation was a pain. Originally had the truck reserved for 12/1 at 6:00PM but I needed it for 24 hours and not 6 hours, so when I called they took care of it. I checked my reservation on 12/1 as I’m on my way to pick up the truck and saw it was move to 12/2 which was wrong. When I called about it cause I needed it on 12/1 they transferred me to the Lake Worth store #66 with a 6:00PM pick up. I got to the store and the person there was rude and said “We’re closed! We closed at 6:00PM” I stated I have a 6:00PM reservation and he said “we closed at 6:00PM sorry” and was very rude. Called the customer service line and they wanted to transfer me to the store off southern boulevard which would have put my miles way over 50 miles. I had to push the truck pick up till the following morning at 8:00am and it really affected my move. I will say Saturday morning 12/2 the representatives at the store I dealt with was much better but overall I was disappointed with the shuffling and changing of reservations and pick up locations.

My experience there was so bad that I take it as a mission for anyone asking me about Uhaul to be careful not only with doing business with the company and also particularly to stay away from that Lake Worth location. The manager there has absolutely no clue about to treat people. I got yelled at as if I were a dog!

The attendant at the counter was very rude to everyone before me as I was waiting in the line. Out of three computers, 2 were down and the gentleman seemed to be bothered every time someone asked him a question. When it was my turn, he first said that I was returning the "wrong vehicle". My rental was a one-way (Gainesville to WPB) so I immediately worried by what he said. He said it wasn't my fault but that I should return it to the location "I was told" on my reservation. I explained that the location on my reservation was chosen by me, and that I decided to return at his location because it was closer and I was tired after a long day of driving and working. He wouldn't listen and said that I was wrong. I tried to tell him again that no one has told me to use one location over the other one, and that I knew that I am allowed to return my rental at any U-haul in the U.S. because I've done it many times. He then started arguing with me and saying that he had worked with Uhaul for 15 years and if he was telling me that I needed a return this vehicle to another location is because that's the way it was...to what I responded that I knew, and was assured by the manager at Gainesville that I was allowed to return at any location, that I wasn't doing anything wrong, and insisted that he accept the rental. At the end, he said he was going to accept but for me not to complain if the rental showed up later as a "not return" vehicle or something like that. This was THE WORST experience at Uhaul of my life. I do have to say that the lady who was there was very sweet and was trying to "cover" for his rudeness as she tried to soften his horrible customer service. I took a photo of the vehicle's license plate, and of the guy at the desk, just in case, since I was so worried about the whole thing!!!
