Help client's with regular rentals have better deals
I had booked to return the trailer on Halpern in Ville St-Laurent which was an address offered for return when I booked the trailer. This is a small garage that rents Uhaul but when I arrived they told me they didn't take returns. I ended up having to go to 2 different places before finally going to Lachine where they took the trailer. Pretty frustrated!

The truck was clean, but in poor condition: it badly needed and alignment (I had to drive 45 degrees to the left to go straight); the doors didn't fully close so the cold air was flowing in; the rear door was very hard to close; the engine shot down while driving at some point; there where hundreds of damage stickers on the truck; since the doors weren't closes right, the light cabin stayed on which made it hard to drive at night; the trucks made a bunch of rattling noises. The online drop off didn't work, but a nice employee left a note on file so I wouldn't get the 20 $ fee for not dropping off online.

Check your gas before you leave because i forgot because the truck was full of snow and i left quickly!! The manager jean marc in Lachine charge me 57$ of gaz for 8 km wowowow this is the way uhaul treat there customer this is the way you get treated!! Never again uhaul and you no what never recommand you to no one ever ENTERPRISE next time and thank you for making me realize that you guys no longer care once we leave whit a shit truck shaking from everywhere tjats it

I'm going to explain my experience in a fairly detailed way in order to point out all the incidents that took place on Saturday the 30th of January 2021. My original reservation was supposed to take place at U-Haul 8101 Montreal-Toronto Boulevard. My reservation was to pick up the van at 5:30 pm that day, so due to the curfew that starts at 8:00pm, I called to check if it was possible to move my reservation for earlier in the day so that I can be able to finish the move in one day. I called in between 9:00 and 10:00 am, the nicest woman answered (I remember she mentioned that she was in St-Louis Missouri), checked the schedule and told me it was possible to move it till 12:00 pm same day, which gives me approximately 8 hours before the curfew. I called again to mention that I will be a bit late, so another woman (also very nice) answered and moved my reservation till 12:45. I arrive at the U-Haul Location at 8101 Boul Montreal-Toronto, on a day when it was -26 degrees outside, enter the shop, and 2 mins later a guy tells us (my brother and I) that we have to wait outside because they only allow 4 people inside (although we asked very politely if we can stay inside in a corner behind a storage cabinet away from everyone else, and they refused). After some 15 mins when there 2 clients left, we enter again, and 2 mins later someone tells us that one of us has to step outside because it is 4 families, not 4 clients, and due to the regulations someone should step outside (although I am fairly sure, if the employees are following the provincial guidelines, they won't be allowed to say that). We sucked it up and my brother waited outside until our turn came. I walk up to the person who should give me my â€œguaranteedâ€ reservation and to my surprise that what I reserved didn't exist, he started making up things that an agent tried to reach me and I either have a wrong number or didn't hear my phone. I called him out on his false claims, the. He mentioned that I am allowed for a 50$ refund. (I don't mean that the 50$ was contingent one calling out his creative excuses) Anyway, I tried to control my frustration and tried to see if there's anything free in town that I can take to finish my move on Saturday. He did some calls and found the same Ã©quipement at a nearby location (which is the location that I ended up using) There everything was super smooth, and everyone was very nice. Very easy pick up and drop off. Didn't have to wait in line for anything. All around, great service at 2100 Norman Street. Can't say the same about the 8101 Boul Montreal Toronto. (No client will ever be compensated with 50 dollars if he scheduled his move on a certain day). Thank you, L.
Check in : excellent service Return: the employee was very rude. He repeatedly said it was time for him to leave. He was rude even though the credit card machine did not work and did not add the information i asked on the invoice.

Access to this location is somewhat cumbersome, coming from the West Island.
I have booked the truck for 8h30 and it was ready at 9h30; not practical when you have a moving crew waiting...and I have paid for moving blankets which I. never got; I spoke to someone for a refund at the customer service, but that person seemed confused. I hope that I will be repaid. Finally. I returned the truck with more gas, but obviously there is no credit. Net net, not a good customer experience.
Le service Ã la clientÃ¨le pour un samedi matin , c'Ã©tait trÃ¨s occupÃ© et l'attente Ã©tait trop longue .... seulement deux personnes pour rÃ©pondre et remplir le contrat entre des dÃ©neigement des toi de camion ....le dÃ©blaiement devrait Ãªtre fait avant que la clientÃ¨le arrive , dÃ©jÃ Ã§a , Ã§a sauverait du temps . Je comprends que c'est le covid mais attendre 30 minutes avant de se faire servir ....
Les employÃ©s ne sont pas professionnels, en pleines Ã©poques de pandÃ©mie alors que nous sommes tous victimes de la perte de nos emplois, eux peuvent travailler mais ne portent pas de masques, ils sont dÃ©sagrÃ©ables, ils hurlent les un sur les autres, la responsable du jour racontait Ã quel point les clients sont des Â«Â consÂ Â», j'utilise ses mots. Bref je ne reviendrais plus dans cette succursale de votre enseigne.
Would have been nice to have winter tire on the pickup. Since i rentrd it on the 16 of January, snow day, i couldn't do anything in the city because to slippery and no traction even loaded. And didn't want to risk going to canac to pickup isolation by the highway. So did only 50% of what was plan because of summer tires in winter in QuÃ©bec
The windshield on the truck i rented was covered in snow and ice. Took about a half hour to claw it with my nails. A scraper with each vehicle would be great for the winter months. I came in at the last minute for a truck, and the staff bent over backwards to get me one. A big thanks to them.
