Extremely disappointing and unsafe experience with U-Haul! I paid approximately $1,800 for a truck that began sparking and smoking before breaking down at 1 AM, leaving my father and me stranded in Arkansas in the middle of no where. We were forced to sleep in the vehicle overnight until the U-Haul location opened at 10 AM. We also did pay for insurance on the truck. The truck had serious mechanical issues involving the rear differential and driveshaft. We had to transfer all our belongings into another truck, causing major delays, additional expenses, and disruption to my housing plans. Although U-Haul paid $500 for the labor of transferring our belongings, they have refused to provide an adequate refund for the rental. This experience was dangerous, stressful, and completely unacceptable. I would never recommend U-Haul for a long-distance move!

Cómo funcionan los comentarios de U-HaulDouble charged for tow dolly. I came to pick up late night on Saturday and brought it back next day at 3pm. Office said it’s ok to bring back Sunday for one day charge since I was picking up late at night. But then after return, they turn around and charged me for extra day. Talk about honesty.

Silvia O1) no one was available to receive us 2) it’s in an isolated area 3) they charged me a late fee despite using the truck for less than 24hrs 4) i was charged cleaning fee though i left the truck in excellent condition. i’ll need a refund of the $47 extra charge thanks
clancy fI thought I was renting from the U-Haul on the bypass Road and ended up being somebody’s house which is also a doggy day care? It was not an easy pick up or drop off and then I just got charged for after hours drop off even though it was there well before five. I’m planning on calling, but I don’t even know who to call. I happen to get this email first so perhaps unlucky timing if someone thought this was going to be a positive review A $19.95 rental with an additional $15 worth of insurance ended up costing $180*
