I was charged a sneaky after hours service fee . Not cool . I dropped off the truck at the time ( actually 20 minutes early) agreed to in my contract . Followed instructions for the phone location check in . It was unsuccessful. I tried 4 more times , all unsuccessful. Check out is always a thing especially license picture or no picture. Depending on customers cell phone to work with your software is not my responsibility. The ratchets on trailer are rusty and bent with frade straps/ hold downs.Mark C.
Rental didn't start well, but ended better. I have used this location and rented vehicles and units for years. This rental is the first time that it reeked of pot and there were no other suitable rentals to take it's place either at pickup or the next morning. I cleaned it and left the windows open still smelled. The person who rented me the vehicle was not helpful, but Angel upon return was as well as morning staff who I deal with frequently and although nothing else available to take, did note the account which the rental staff should have done. The truck should have never been allowed to be rented in the condition it was. Only 5200 miles and totally reeked in the seating and fabric. Customers who return vehicles with smoke damage (and pot is still illegal in NYS) should have to pay for cleaning charges. Until you pay, you don't get it.Jennifer S G.
The Uhaul app need to be updated I had some issues when I was trying checkout the vehicle using the Android version of your app. They problem was when I tried uploading picture it froze then crashed...the same thing happen when checking in the vehicle, an employee was able to check in the vehicle for me using their Uhaul device.RICARDOK N.

after COUNTLESS frustrating and fruitless calls to your national cust service number, and days and days of getting jerked around and my plans ruined by ineptitude, where your personnel REFUSED to honor the reservation quote I was given, even after they listened to the transcript of the call to verify that I was given this quote by a uhaul agent, they STILL refused to honor my quote. I was livid, but stuck between a rock and hard place of needing to move. When I arrived at the location, I explained my situation, and Allan Smith, understood IMMEDIATELY, apologized, and rectified the Uhaul error in under a minute and honored my original quote. You are LUCKY to have him as an employee, as he saved you from losing my business as a future customer. He deserves an accommodation and a raise. Better train your associate on how to properly attach a trailer on a vehicle. Prior to leaving the yard, myself and my father made sure that the trailer was attached properly, and it wasn't. The tongue was not locked into the ball and the trailer would have came off if we were to travel with it in the condition your employee. Also I have been charged twice for the rental, but will be calling tomorrow to rectify that issue.Thomas S.
Before returning the truck we replaced the gas we had used. When we received the email receipt we noticed we had been charged for gas. We called and the man on the phone was polite and acknowledged we had been wrongfully charged. He said we would receive a credit for that amount. The next morning we had another email receipt waiting for us, but it did not reflect the promised credit. I stopped in the store today to speak with Nathan, the store manager, who was also polite and sat right down to help me. He pulled up the receipt which showed the credit had been issued and explained it sometimes takes a few days to show up on an updated receipt. He then made a copy for me and wished me well. We didn't mind that a mistake had been made as we understand they happen to everybody. We very much appreciated the service bestowed on us by Nathan and his employees as we worked toward resolving the issue. We were pleased and will continue to use this U-Haul location in the future.Anthony L.
