Reservation through the app was almost impossible. You have to keep in mind that not everyone is a pro with computer and AI. The process of picking up the van and returning I do not recommend it.
maria gThey didn't have the vehicle I ordered ready in time. The older gentleman at the front desk was rude and unpleasant to work with. He called me difficult when I asked for verification on a question he responded too. The only reason I didn't give this experience a poor rating was because another staff member there Brent was kind and patient after the horrible interaction I had with the first man.
Caitlin MThe van was very dirty inside and out, and the passenger side window was duct taped to the van with black tape. Also, when picking the van up, I checked in via the app, then asked the attendant for the keys, to which he replied I needed to ask the other attendant across the parking lot. Finally, when I get to the other guy, he then walks back to the FIRST guy I asked and got the keys from the little room where I was originally. Very inefficient and annoying.
BRET SThis location added insurance to my rental at the time of pick up when I denied insurance at the time of reservation. Then at my drop off time the gas attendant told me to just take a picture of the gas meter reading and mileage on the dash. Then advised I could leave. They then changed my drop off time to 2 hours later than I actually dropped off. When I called U-Haul they advised they would put in a ticket to disput claim for insurance amount and then a representative tells me they could not give me my refund because I would of had to still been at the drop off location to dispute. Which would be impossible because I didn’t receive my receipt with the charge until the following day. It’s a scam. I will never be using U-Haul again. I advise people to try other companies.
