The rental went well. However, a staff member chose to display an unnecessary, bad attitude to me. I would recommend training as necessary. I had no idea why the change from one customer to another was necessary.

I was charged for 114 miles but the address I have them (my home I was moving to) was 121 miles from that location so I was over charged.

The area where I sat to rent the vehicle felt confined with supplies too close for comfort. I felt crowded by supplies & boxes. Arrange the area to provide a little more space for customer to sit & see the counter people.

I was charged extra money when i brought the truck with the gas requested and where it was left and i didnt go over my 350 miles from the deal i had. Thats the only confusing thing.

I think they were understaffed and having computer issues. Needed to drop my trailer off. I pulled into the designated return area and was the only person waiting. I waited for approx 10 minutes and an attendant walked by after helping someone else with propane and told me he’d be with me shortly. I didn’t see him, or any other employee, for the next 10 minutes. I checked inside and there were about five people in line and a different guy behind the counter who was having computer trouble. So I waited outside again for another 10 minutes. Still didn’t see the first attendant who told me he would be with me. Around the 30 minute mark I saw a poster outside about self check in on myuhaul.com and checked it out. I moved my car over to the area with the trailers, followed the online prompts, and left the trailer and dolly there. I get that things can happen, but the utter lack of anyone’s attention for a simple trailer drop off was frustrating. It takes only a few minutes. If someone had taken even 30 seconds to talk to me more than to say “be right with you” and instead say that they were overwhelmed and recommend the online process — then it would have been fine. But that never happened. I was left guessing about the protocol and waiting unnecessarily, which made me late to my next obligation. I like UHaul and will likely use you again in the future, knowing that the online option is available when needed. That said I would prefer for an attendant to walk me through the process and give me some closure that everything is ok and closed out. To that end I will never use the drop off location I did today. I’ll go further to a different location entirely.

When I arrived, I stood in a line behind about 4 other people for about 15 minutes. One of the customers in the line said, “Are you here to drop off or pickup a uhaul? If so, this is the wrong line. This is for the auction.” A customer informed me, not one of the 3 people behind the counter. We stood in line for another 15-20 minutes and finally got to the counter. The agent at the counter never greeted me, said anything to me or asked why I was there. He just looked at me and stuck out his hand. I handed him my rental agreement and said I was here to drop off my uhaul. He said, “Give me the key. You got the key, right?” He takes the key, doesn’t tell me what he’s doing but then walks out of the building. About 15 minutes later he returns and says, “You went over the miles. You owe $21.00 (not the exact figure). I’ll just put it on the card on file.” The pickup and drop off experience with UHaul was absolutely disgusting. What bothers me most is I have relatives who have worked for UHaul for YEARS and I don’t know if I’ll ever use this company again. Very poor. Now, the truck? I believe I received the worst truck on the lot. Popped, cracked and stunk.

truck in the inside was clean but not maintained, passenger seat belt buckles missing. Driver window door knob kept falling off, made it hard to roll window up or down.

The van was clean upon visual inspection. However, when I initially entered it, there was an odor I assumed was sweaty guy and stale cigar. The smell became increasingly intense as time went on. By the time we departed Orlando the stench was so bad we had to ride home to Jacksonville with the windows down. The smell can best be described as a lovely mix of stale sweat/decaying flesh/urine. Possibly a touch of vomit in there as well. I called the location the next morning. After being on hold for 20 minutes, the phone connection was so bad we could barely communicate but I did faintly hear the girl try to give me the number to customer service after I expressed twice that I was driving at the moment. Also, every lock on the van had to be locked manually every time we parked. The van was otherwise in perfect condition, was extremely comfortable and ran like a charm.

Very unfriendly and cold. Even though we reminded the desk that a hand truck was rented, we checked the truck, had to go back to the desk and wait for someone to go get one. No one ever explained anything, just "the keys are in the truck." Not a very good customer experience!

I didn't realize this when I picked up the truck, but the windshield was sealed with duck tape and there was a loud noise coming in the cabin from the wind while driving. Other than that, the staff was great. Been coming to this location for years and is always reliable.

I wasn't acknowledged when I entered. Employees didn't seem interested. When I returned the motorcycle trailer, it was covered in a rusty substance, from the rain I traveled in. The metal of the trailer didn't appear to be galvanized. The substance did not appear on my motorcycle or truck. When I was emailed my invoice, I was charged a cleaning fee of $75 plus $5.25 tax. I returned to the location and disputed the charge. I feel the trailer was defective. The GM tried to justify the exorbitant fee, but eventually credited my account. In six years of renting from this location, I've never had any problems. The new management seems to be the issue.
