Removing this location as a uhaul vendor would be your best option. I’ve rented trucks, trailers, tools, and equipment for years and this was by far the worst rental experience I’ve ever had. Here is a small list: first off no one was present to assist with the rental. I showed up early and waited an additional 10 minutes before going through the process to self checkout. The total time elapsed cost me $90 in labor while my guys were waiting onsite. That hour of time cost me the job I did for free and actually paid out of pocket for my guys, so fu*k this location. The truck was dirty so I had to clean it before I could even get started. I paid for a utility dolly and blankets. The utility dolly was laying at the back and only 2 dirty blankets were available. After the sh*tshow of the job because of the employee’s absence and cleanliness of the truck I still cleaned it, folded blankets, and put the dolly away. Because of the late start I was unable to finish the move since my guys needed to leave by a certain time. Our customer was not happy and I told them I would take care of it. Basically I moved an entire 3bd for free and paid $600 labor. I paid my client to move their belongings! Afterwards I contacted U-Haul corporate to file a complaint and to see about a refund for the dolly and blanket rental as well as to reimburse some of what I had to pay to rent the truck. They refunded me $10. In good faith and a situation like this I would expect more from this trucking company (whom clearly has the money) to at least compensate 1/2 the charge, but later I found my claim was denied. I will never visit this location again, and will probably not use uhaul again after this experience. I encourage any and everyone reading this to source another viable rental company. I’ve been doing this for 15 years and it was by far the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.
james wWell, I got my receipt. It said I have 55 miles and a half and then when I looked at the picture I took they put an extra 6 miles on there so now I’m very unhappy and I would like a refund at the end of the day because that is not professional.
Dejuan PWhen I had the vehicle the battery died and I had to call road side assistance. Vehicle needs to kept up on technical maintenance. Had to push the gas paddle down more than usual for the vehicle to accelerate.
Andre WNothing with this location, but the dumbasses at HQ charged me for fuel after I returned it with more gas than I started with. And didn’t correct AFTER I complained to the live chat line immediately after returning.
