The transmission is in need of repair!! While driving on the freeway at 55pmh there was a terrible burning odor entering the cabin, Me and passengers were uncomfortable driving this vehicle for a long distance, it needs fixing before rented by another customer.

The truck I received the inside of the box was full of glass and it smelled of cigarette smoke. Distrusting. Also both a staff member and a visitor were not wearing masks when I returned the vehicle. I only go there because it’s convenient but the place inside and out is dirty and not well maintained.

My sales representative was very nice from the time I entered the store greeting and welcoming me to the store. He was well spoken, polite, and also explained everything step by step to me. I then was really impressed with the customer service at this location because, the sales representative took the time to got outside and clean/ sanitize the van before I took it off the property. I must say I have rented from other locations previously and there was no greetings, no explanations of the equipment, and I never had the equipment sanitized until I went to the Hyde Park location. I recommend this location to anyone due to the great customer service it was above and beyond.

When i did return the van at 430p the only male at the counter told me that i had to leave the van outside and the keys at the ignition. There was no one at the store and he was doing absolute nothing. I wanted to get the final bill. He told me that he would email in 10 minutes. Turns out that i got the bill next day and i was overcharged. I called several times the location no one answered . I was directed to a costumer service that did email the location she did believe as well that i was overcharged but she couldnt change anything at her end. I never did receive a phone call back from the location explaining why so much was charged. Tks

1. U-haul store workers should treat customers with respect and courtesy. 2. Customers should be spoken to respectfully 3. Workers should appear more polite, friendly and approachable. 4. Workers should try and maintain eye contact with customers that are directly in front of them. 5. It is unprofessional when workers argue with customers. They should work with customers and do their best to keep customers happy. Everyone knows moving can be stressful. The last thing we need is an impolite and unprofessional employee pissing us off. They of all people should understand the stress that comes from moving.

They gave me an empty gas tank after that they trying to charge me for the gas and also the odometer was wrong the odometer didn’t work properly I didn’t drive 86 miles they trying to charge me extra miles and also the truck wasn’t a good truck to start it it took a while even though I pressed the gas pedal all the way it still take a little while to start and I return it with extra gas I have proof of the gas level I took a picture of the gas level and also they know it was empty

Customer Service rep present at the branch, as I walked into the store stated to me, “give me the keys.” They proceeded to state the gas level was insufficient even though I put sufficient gas into the tank. I would never rent from this location customer service experience is deplorable.
