The vehicle was cleaned but the performance of the vehicle was poor!! The engine sucked up gas and ran shoddy and rough!!! The return rep at the counter was very negative bcuz he was working alone! I have lots more to say about my negative experience but no more room.!!!

The point of sale equipment was not working well so I had to do a mobile pickup even though I was in one of your stores. Uhaul called to change the location of my reservation twice in 5 days. Uhaul needs an inventory software overhaul and POS equipment that works. Your customer service and sales people are friendly and awesome, but the fact that you have to cancel reservations and move people miles down the road to different pickup locations because "the truck is no longer available" does not inspire confidence. My husband rented a trailer from Uhaul last week as well and had to drive across Houston to pick it up because it was no longer available at his preferred location. When you're charging mileage with the rental, this is an added expense when the pickup location changes. Would be happy to go back to Uhaul for my next move if you improve your inventory management systems.

Your employees are lazy and lack enthusiasm. The van I rented says 19.95 per day but some how it came out to $60 per day. The van I rented had a seat belt that was cut in half and the tire pressure was low. Why don't your employees perform a basic safety check prior to renting the vehicle? I have pictures I can submit upon request.

Online did not say that you had to have a credit card to rent a cargo van. Last 3 years my bank debit card worked. I also said that I did not want any charges on the credit card(I would pay cash) when I rented. When I return the van the charges were put on the credit card due to no one made a note on the rental agreement that I was going to pay cash.

The first truck was crawling with roaches. The second truck couldn't be unlocked from th driver side. I think UHaul should inspect the trucks a little more thoroughly and exterminate the trucks periodically.

They asked me for an alternative number to a friend which I gave them and just because my friend was with me because that’s the only person I know that will answer their phone they told me I could not rent a trailer I was using my credit card I showed him my ID with my address and I wasn’t going out of town I was staying local and then when he put on the trailer he did not tighten it tight enough I had to stop down the street To tighten the trailer on the hitch.
