The first rental location was in Mt. Ida, Arkansas at Able Parts. We arrived around 9:30am and the truck was not ready, and the battery was dead. We were given the option to take a 20' that he had on his lot. We needed the 26' (what we rented). We had to drive 30 miles or so out of our way to pick up a different truck and then another 30 miles to start our loading. Unfortunately the whole ordeal cost me 2 hrs of loading time. I had to stay an extra night to load the rest of my things in storage. I will never again us the location in Mt. Ida, very unprofessional. The gentleman at the Hot Springs location did an excellent job and getting me back on the road, I truly appreciate his help in a short amount of time to fix the situation. Thank you!

I rented a truck 3 weeks ago online in Hot Springs, AR. When I went to pick it up, I was told my rental was at another location about 7 miles away. I placed another online request this Thursday for a Saturday use. When I looked at my confirmation email again on Friday night, I noticed it mentioned that a Uhaul representative would contact me about location. That never happened, so I tried to set up an online account. Didn't work. It would not accept the confirmation number that was sent. I contacted Uhaul's 800 number. I was told that rather than the location I chose, my truck would be in another town, Pearce, 6-7 miles away. When I asked to just cancel my reservation, I was told to wait and call a local scheduling number Saturday morning. When I made that call early Saturday, I was told the second location would not have a truck, but a third location on Central Avenue would have my truck. The person there, at a gas station, did not arrive or answer the phone until 10:15 AM. When I finally reached him, he informed me that he did not have the truck available either, that Uhaul had rented it out the day before. This is about the craziest , most frustrating thing I have ever experienced and certainly no way to treat a customers who has made a reservation.
