I had originally planned to get my U-Haul vehicle at a different site (Odessa) and was aware that perhaps the cargo van would not be available in which case U-Haul would notify me to use the Horseheads site. I never received any notification from U-Haul about the change until I arrived at Odessa.

I reserved online and said no the the insurance yet the guy added it at the pick up location. Horrible customer service

When the customer arrives, have the equipment there that he ordered, and received a confirmation number for. I was told by the associate at Horseheads U-Haul that he did not have the 15' truck which I ordered and had a confirmation number for. He further told me that his boss told him to lock the door and leave before I arrived! (Since they knew they didn't have the truck which I ordered.)

The showroom has a lot of go cart parts and not much UHaul merchandising - although I saw that there were a couple hand trucks and moving blankets available. The owner and worker were friendly and helpful.

Truck was low on oil to start Lights were dim at night and red battery light blinked on and off Abs brake light went on and off entire trip U haul people were good but equipment was sketchy
