There is one area were you can improve, have at least two clerks available to serve customers. The wait to be served is too long. However, the service over the phone is excellent. I appreciated having ther paperwork done over the phone and the clerk was so pleasant and efficient. I didn’t know the mileage from here to my destination but she quickly looked it up. The return process was so quick. I will definitely use that location again.

I went online to do the express check out. When I arrived, the system was down. We have used U Haul 3 times in the last 3 months. Same location. The system is always down. Can you please upgrade your system?? The employees are great but need a better computer system.

After having a horrible experience booking a truck online, the hayward uhaul location went above and beyond to help me out! They got me a truck and made every effort to rectify the poor service from uhaul online. Thank you Team Hayward for excellent service 5 stars... Online experience booking is a disaster zero stars... You shouldn't let customers book trucks if they are not available, that is bad b uisness which cost customers their time and money!!!

Quite a hitch when they did not have a dolly that converts from upright to horizontal like I bought once before from U-Haul. I have a limitation on weight I can lift. The ONLY dolly available I could not use AT ALL. I would appreciate a refund on the rental of that item.

Make it clear that the online after hours drop off process must be done on site. I dropped off my trailer after hours and took pictures to document it, then went home to complete the process because I live in an area where I'm not comfortable messing around with my phone on a dark street. Unfortunately the checkout process takes your gps location and you can't use photos you've already taken, so it looks to you like I dropped off my trailer at my home and just took two pictures of my gross leg instead of the trailer because I can't use the ones I already took. I'm looking forward to getting a call or email from uhaul tomorrow saying I improperly checked out. I hope there are no fees. The trailer was neatly put away. Joe

Wait time was less than prior usage on a Sunday morning as had 3 agents. There is plenty of area for car pick-ups. The on-line system suggests other needs, which helps as can bring own mats, boxes. etc..

I reserved the truck originally online 2 weeks ago. We had closed out our storage agreement, and pre-planned deadlines with receiving end new storage to make sure we had all our belongings out of Alameda County and into Stanislaus county almost 2 hours away. When we go got to this location, the had no idea of the reservation, nor did they have a truck avail. They offered a $5o credit back on personal losses of over 600.00. (of time, mileage, missing work, and having to re-rent our existing storage for 2 more weeks. In addition they say the took it upon themselves to reserve one on a later date (hassle free). When we arrived today, my wife had to sit in the car for over 20 min. while they tried to locate our truck again. Once they located it, they said they didn't put the gas , nor have money in the till to cover gas (again offering a credit back), not to mention the ride was so rough and bouncing. As a personal mechanic for over 30 years , I would say the shocks and alignment were not well maintained. Worse part of this whole ordeal, we missed our grandaughters birthday due to the rescheduling they had to do, because our reservation 2 weeks prior was not available. We have owned and operated a successful 5 star company in the bay area for over 25 years. We believe in going above and beyond the call of duty for our customers. If they have deadlines, we make sure we meet them. The ultimate goal of our company is providing services that make the customers lives a lot less stressful. WE STRIVE to help others and we did not get the feel of that here. WE DO NOT recommend this company if you have sold a home and rely on the moving services to meet deadlines, etc.

I booked the truck for a certain time and when I went there they didn't have any truck to give me. They were gonna send me to different location far from me when I have movers coming at a certain time. I hope they have there stuff together so the customers don't have to wait. They couldn't tell me anything.

Reserved a hand truck and when I arrived there wasn’t one available. I was told I should have called to make sure one was available. I made the reservation over the phone and was told one was there. No offer to charge the appliance dolly that I eventually took for the regular hand truck I was told you have. Poor customer service in my opinion. The agent didn’t seem to care in the least.
