Phone messages were not checked. I had to stand in the lobby waiting (about 20 minutes) for the staff to service someone who called in after she started helping me. I feel I should have been helped first, because I was there with an appointment, and the caller was not. The trailer wiring was defective, and the staff seemed convinced that a fuse was blown in my truck. It was not. The problem was the trailer, and once the wiring was replaced, it worked. I would have felt better about the experience if the staff made a genuine effort to express a sense of helpfulness. I just did not feel appreciated as a customer. Rather, I was a nuisance to be dealt with.

I'm fully capable of hooking up a trailer by myself, but it appears the attendant did not know how to do so and asked if I had brought my own help. I expect all of the staff to be knowledgeable and capable of assisting a customer with all types of equipment

Very friendly staff. They didn't help us get the car free from the auto transport (removing the straps and chains from the car) but they did unhook the trailer. Overall I was very pleased.

Horrible experience. Horrible customer service. Picked up my trailer and only one employee was there. She was busy with customers, phones etc. To top it off the computers were slow or not working. While the employee was waiting for the computer she went out to hook up my trailer. After waiting more than 30 min the computers started working and I was on my way. I had just pulled out of their lot and the employee called me. She forgot to tighten the cupler down. She asked if I could come right back. I told her I was already home (I live 2 blocks away) so the employee asked me to tighten the trailer. I said I would. I had to unhook the trailer once I got home to put it in my garage. I loosened the cupler to take the trailer off and the cupler fell off into 4 separate pieces. I took the 4 pieces back to A&K to have them show me how to put it back together. There was now a second employee. She had no idea how to put it back together and told me to go out and look at another trailer and figure it out. While doing this the employee that helped me was outside and came up and asked what I was doing. I showed her the cupler in 4 pieces and she also did not know how to fix it. The employee then said to me "Please don't let anyone know I forgot to tighten the cupler because something like this can get me fired". She then told me to call roadside assistance for help. I went home and called. Roadside assistance was helpful and said they would come shortly. Then they called me back and asked some more questions about the problem. I was told that the cupler does not come apart. The tech showed up and said the original cupler was broken and should not have come off. The tech had to put a whole new cupler on. I immediately went back to A&K. Both employees were their. I expressed that I was very upset about the broken trailer. When I expressed that this issue could have caused an accident I was told that since I had insurance coverage and roadside assistance that it would have been fixed if something happened. Not sure how extra insurance and roadside assistance would help me if someone had died. I was actually in shock. The employee that had originally helped me just stood there. The second employee said to me that the trailer was in proper working order as the equipment is check when it is loaded on to your vehicle. If anything was broken it would have been caught at this time. The employee that helped me just stood there. I gave her a chance to say something and she said nothing. She did say that she called me and told me to come back. When I reminded her that I was already home she said that she insisted I come back ASAP. I guess she forgot that she told me to tighten the cupler. I was offered no apology. I was offered a big fat NOTHING. I told both employees that I was contacting management. I did receive a call from the area field manager who will be taking care of this situation. When I returned the trailer the same 2 employees were working. The employ

It took over an hour for attendant to generate paperwork with special pricing authorized by central dispatch. A big cluster, and several people were at fault. I also was not happy to drive 10 miles instead of 3 blocks from my house to pick up truck. Crystal and staff at Uhaul in Old Torrance were super efficient, professional and helpful.

Most UHaul facilities are the same: surly service where you have to check carefully that you're not being overcharged or falsely billed. If UHaul could change that feeling you get when you rent from them, it'd be a huge improvement. Other than that though, things worked out fine.

I'm going to say that, it took the lady along time to run through our already reserved truck,but I figured it's Saturday and she must be tired. We received the truck dusty mad dirty. We returned it on time after we power washed the entire truck left it cleaner than what we picked up. I received a notice they ran my credit card instead of my husband's card as we requested. Extra service charge a for a tool? We didn't use and now they won't even answer the phone to clarify why did she care my card and not the card my husband handed her as he clearly said to charge his. Not recommending anyone to come here.

I found Louise to be extremely friendly and helpful. The checkout process for a pre-reserved trailer was quick and efficient. The lot was a little small and made turning around a little tight, but other than that, all was good.

I was over charged for gas $54 extra when I had filled up to Full before returning it after hour's, didn't get my final bill till 4 day's after my return . Called asking for an explanation she was pretty unhelpful, so disappointing should of taking a picture of the dashboard at the time of return

Make sure order is complete. I asked for furniture cloths, was charged for them and did not receive them and then was charged for "not returning" them with my uhaul even though they were never given to me. Ridiculous.
