Got a text night before but after hours. Original pickup location did not have truck. Referred me to 2nd location that did not open until 10. Unacceptable! Went to third location and got truck. Horrible customer service.

While I hate to give a bad review, I am left with no other recourse. I was charged nearly 1500 dollars for a crack in a van windshield, that was there when the van was picked up. I spoke to the manager, Ravin who offered me a settlement of 590 dollars by the end of the day. I told her that I would be willing to settle the debt, but I wanted to make sure that the person who picked up the van saw the crack in the windshield when he picked it up. Not only did he see the crack, he addressed it with the employee who issued him the van. The employee said that they were aware of the crack. I have been calling the store in an attempt to speak with the manager Ravin, but I have only gotten the call center, and no return phone calls. I did however get an email where she charged my credit card over 500 dollars, in addition to a damage report that says I owe in excess of 900 dollars. Could someone please contact me at 504-813-8757, in order to discuss this matter, as I have been unsuccessful in making contact with the store manager at that location. My name is John Hunter. Never received a confirmation call for the truck size or location I reserved at all by 6pm the day before pick up. The truck I made a reservation for was delivered to the wrong location instead of one of the three locations that were less than 2 miles from my home. When arriving to pick up the truck the delivery driver was an hour and half later than the scheduled pick up time. They did not look up my reservation to see what I had reserved so the next customer that came in after me took all of the moving blankets even though I was the first customer at the store that morning. So then I had to call other stores to locate blankets and drive around wasting time and money on fuel to get something I had already reserved. Communication was very pitiful. I will not use or recommend UHaul again and I seriously doubt they care at all.

I had problem with the first location to drop of the trailer on 2016 Mahan in Tallahassee Fl. No staff person there. Spoke to a person on the phone and was informed that I unhook the trailer and park it where all the trailers are at. I tried and couldn't do it and it was raining outside. I am a 68 years old female and did not know how to un- symbol the trailer. However, he later told me to take the trailer to another location. This is very un-professional for a large company to not have a representative present. The second location was very professional and kind.

I traveled 10 miles in the van. Was charged for 40. I work for a nonprofit organization and was transporting toys from Walmart to my office 4.5 miles down the street. The rep stated she was adjusting it and then on my bill I still saw a double charge. Very dissatisfied. Requesting a refund. Will not ever use the service again. Treated me as if I was lying. Poor experience. I could have used my own vehicles to transport toys if I was going to pay this amount.

Maybe try to have the size truck you booked for pickup? Delayed move because of truck not being available as reserved. Caused a 30 mile trip to be made for nothing and moving helpers has to be paid for that day when no move could be made. Also, if you are going to charge a $25 cleaning fee, you would think the inside of truck would be clean when you rent it??? Seems logical, but was not so,
