I was supposed to pick up on Broadway Drive when I arrived they had given my trailer away. Then they sent me to seventh Street. As I drove down the street after picking up a smaller trailer because the trailer that they had that was my size had a flat tire, the trailer fell off of the hitch because the employee had not tightened it enough.

Truck had been stuck on your lot. Mud was in tires and slung up on the side of the box. Also there was a broken table left in the truck and the 2 wheeled dolly was broken. The inside of the cab was clean. As far as your location, your employees were great, but the computer system seemed to be having issues.

The whole experience sucked. I ordered the truck for my son. I gave the person on the phone my debit card info. When he got there, they made him use his card. They charged him one way when I clearly told them to charge my card for a round trip. I called the office in Hattiesburg, MS on 7th street. I told them he didn't have the money in his account. They put $175 on his card. I told them to call me for the balance. When he returned the truck, I gave them my card again to charge an additional $75. The girl there pushed a button wrong so my card wouldn't be accepted. They ran the additional amount in my son's card. I specifically told them to run my card again. Not his. It wound up freezing his bank account because guess what??!!!!! He didn't have the money as I told them initially over the phone and again when he returned the truck. The staff there cannot follow simple directions to card a mother's card who has the money vs my son's card who does not have the money. Very frustrating!!!! It resulting in me making two separate transfers of money to my sonâ€˜s account, which SHOULD HAVE NEVER BEEN USED PER MY INSTRUCTIONS......TWICE!!!!!!

Your employee was rude and uninterested in helping us. She made what should have been an easy and pleasant experience very unpleasant. Poor customer service.
The gentleman that helped me with my trailer was both experienced and professional. He was quick to help me get my trailer attached and knew exactly how to safely attach it. He was also quick to point out I didn't have the correct assembly and unlike other locations he took the time to ensure my trip would be a safe one. Very professional and efficient staff. I will definitely recommend this location.
Her and the gentleman that works there are FUNNNNNYYYYY, real people persons. my second time renting from them and i recommend them every time

Management should be proactive in aiding customers in resolving issues in billing as well as workers. Also, try not to communicate to workers to get customer out of store in front of customer. Felt it was rude and unprovoked. Only referring to manager.

I used mobile pickup. The GPS on your site did not work! It was turned on my phone. I had to scan door and put everything in my phone twice. Then when I turned in truck the same thing happened but I was not given option to scan door. So we had to put keys in drop box and call the 800 number and hold on for an eternity!!!!!!
Please fix the phone line because I could not reach my local uhaul office with importan questions about returning the truck. I waited for a long time and never got in contact with them. I know that there are 2 people working on that particular office. I don't think they are answering phones non-stop. Nice customer service though! You need to have a main line and a local line to contact them easily.
I can't remember the kind, blonde lady's name that helped us but she did an amazing job!!!! We were in and out of there in no time. Covid precautions were in place. She was there when we picked up the cargo van at 8am and when we dropped it off at 6:30! That's dedication.
One of the items requested and reserved was not in stock. I had to drive to a second location for it and consequently pay 5 additional miles.
The manager was the only employee on the grounds and there were six trucks being turned in at the same time I was turning in mine. She was very courteous and helpful but completely covered up. She was very apologetic for it taking so long which was completely understandable. This was on a Saturday afternoon.
There were so many people trying to drop off or return they may need more help during this time it was parents dropping off Their college kids and took a while
When I made the reservation I made it at 9:30 at another location. After showing up at first location and finding no reservation, at 9:45 I got an email and a text saying they had changed my location. When I got out there I did not have my phone and did not realize I would need it to check in, so I was an hour and a half later getting started with a timed move because I was moved at the last minute to another location without prior notice. It was also not made clear that I would need my cell phone. This location was very busy this day because of college move-in day, and I don't fault them for that at all. But if you're going to change the location at the last minute of where I need to pick up my truck, you need to notify a day in advance so arrangements can be made, not 15 minutes AFTER the reservation was made.
Truck was clean but it was not well maintained. Front passenger tire was bald and dangerous. It vibrated terribly at a certain speed and shifting was very rough. That was to address the question above of cleanliness and maintenance, those two shouldn't be in the same question. My real complaint was with the process of obtaining the truck and the lack of communication with me regarding changes. I reserved the truck online and went through the entire pre-check-in process and chose to pick my truck up at the counter. I did not want to use a smart phone to go through a check-in process when the time came to pick the actual truck up. Without any communication with me this was changed by an employee of u-haul. I only found out via email and was confused as to what happened (I now know what happened and will get to that). So now I'm told via email that I must bring a fully charged smartphone and use it to go through a check-in process. My hesitation for using this type of check-in was due to technology like this having many issues during the process. There are so many variables that can interrupt a lengthy check-in process on a smartphone causing someone to have to start over. And that happened when I tried to pickup my truck. I chose in person pickup because I wanted to get in the truck and go in minimal time. It took me over an hour to get my truck once I got to the location. Upon inspecting the truck and having to take numerous photos of unmarked damage (that some even failed to upload) I noticed that a rented furniture dolly was not in the back of the truck. I went in and inquired about this and was only then told that they didn't have one at that location - which happens to not even be the location I rented online from - and told me that I would need to go to another location to pick one up. That other location just so happened to be the location on Broadway that I actually rented from (I have no idea why or how my pick up location was changed. And I know the canned response is that one location didn't have the truck I needed so it was changed but this isn't the case, the original location on Broadway had the size truck I rented in the lot lined up ready to go). I wasn't even going to be told that the furniture dolly was not available. They were going to let me go on my way without it or even knowing about it. Thankfully I checked. I went to the location on broadway and as I was telling the lady about my experience so far she commented â€œYeah, Henry doesn't like being around people right now.â€ That is who changed and why my in person pickup was changed without my being communicated with about it. And I get it considering the dangers of COVID but I'm afraid too and I had my mask on so was protecting those around me. This whole process was terrible and I knew it would be which is why I avoided it (at least thought I would) by choosing in person pickup. When I dropped the truck off another lady was there. The two customers in front of me, picked up a truck from her, in person, and it took no longer than 10 minutes. It took me over an hour... this whole experience was bad. I do need to speak one positive of Henry, even though he changed my pickup type without communicating with me and even though he wasn't going to communicate with me that he didn't have a furniture dolly available he WAS very knowledgeable about the online check in process. I had numerous issues with it and had to start over multiple times. He was able to walk me through each issue. When I brought the dolly to his attention and he explained to me they didn't have one he did pick up the phone and call the other location to check on it to ensure it was there before I went. Funny, I interacted with Henry because of the trouble with the online check in/pickup much more than I would have if my initial request of picking the truck up in person was accommodated.
This doesn't involve pick up location, but I was called less than 24 hours before pick up and told I did not have a truck! I had to question the person on the phone about other possibilities of a rental to get a truck.
Traveled about 400 miles and had no air conditioning. Having window down that long gave ear aches.
Dropping off my U-Haul was simple and easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely use this location again in the future.
