Was over charged 30 dollars at pickup point in Hardeeville SC. Hattiesburg MS was original drop off point and they were rude on the phone. Richton MS is where I dropped off at and they were good as gold.

The gentleman that helped me at the pick-up location was fantastic, knew what he was doing and got me in and out quickly, the same with my return at another locatiin, the truck performed great, overall I give Uhaul a "10"

You did not allow me to pick up at requested location but sent me 20 miles to Hardeeville instead. Got there and the sign says “closed on Sunday and Monday” so why did u send me to a location u knew was closed?! Thank goodness owner was there paying some bills and offered to unlock door and help me. But almost a crisis. You need to thank that guy for bailing you guys out as he could have turned me away.

Upon rental, I reserved with a debit card. After extending my reservation, I contacted the dealer and explained upon returning rental that I wanted to pay in cash. i dropped off the truck and left key in drop off box because no one was there. I then received a call from the dealer and went to the location and paid CASH for the rental. I also showed my fuel receipt because it took 7.237 gallons of fuel at 15.91 to refill the truck, I ONLY DROVE !! MILES.. TOO MUCH FUEL WAS CONSUMED. tHAT IN ITSELF WAS SHRUGGED OFF BY THE DEALER. i RETURNED THE TRUCK ON A SATURDAY, ON THE FOLLOWING Monday MY DEBIT CARD WAS CHARGED THE AMOUNT FOR THE ORIGINAL RESERVATION ESTIMATED TIME. CONTACTING CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS BEEN A JOKE. FINALLY AFTER SPEAKING WITH A MANAGER , I WAS TOLD HE WOULD CONTACT CARD PROCESSING TO SEE IF I COULD GET MY MONEY BACK QUICKER THEN THE ESTIMATED 5-7 DAYS AND WAS ALSO TOLD HE WOULD CALL ME BACK THAT AFTERNOON TO TELL ME WHAT THEY SAID. NO PHONE CALL FROM UHAUL!!!! I WILL PERSONALLY NEVER RENT FROM UHAUL AGAIN,

Make sure that the truck has been serviced and maintained properly. There was almost no oil and there was a leak which ruined some of our cargo.

I was only 30 minutes late returning the trailer but they over charged my card twice and when I asked them to remove it he stated the system must have added it and it was nothing they could do to remove the charges.

This comment is not against the location but rather the online service. I requested the utility dolly with my order and received a confirmation that all items were available at the pick-up location. When I arrived, I was informed by the gentleman that there were no utility dollies available to rent. He stated that the dolly was removed from my order though I was not notified of this.

Customer Service was excellent - extremely smooth process - efficient (in & out); Truck had 21,840 miles - it was nice having a new truck to move my personal items into storage. The process of bringing the truck back was even easier. Certainly will recommend and use this rental facility again! Thanks

Have the correct vehicle on hand. I ordered a 15 foot truck two weeks in advance. I was given a 20 foot for the same price. I filled up just over half of the truck with things I needed to move and paid a lot more for gas. Also, it was much harder to drive. I understand how you move vehicles around but why offer a 15 foot truck if its not guaranteed. I can shop other places and get that. Also, I was sold the accident insurance even though I said I did not want it on my reservation. I found this out at 8 pm Friday night when reviewing my receipt. Check my order. Not fair business practice.

We were stressed because we reserved a month in advance and 3 days before they jungled around the location we needed to pick up. Finally got that settled and got a call 4 pm the day before that a previous customer didn't return on time and that we would have to drive 30 minutes each way to pick up before we could load and before having to drive 5 hours. I feel it is the responsibility of u haul to move a truck to our location if such things occur. Why should the customer who books a month in advance have to jump through hoops for others mistakes. We did also have a flat tire - waited on the side of the road for 2 hours, fortunately when the guy did come he was great and had it changed in 10 minutes. After both of these issues, U haul did grant us a small rebate which we appreciate. I just feel the process could have been smoother which wouldn't have cost the hard working U haul vendors money. This is the second time in a year that the location of pick up was moved around at the last minute. (Why is this the customer problem?)

Larry was rude. He informed me (after I had a scheduled pick up time) that he was taking his lunch during my pickup and I needed to change to accommodate him. He was rude to my son and husband when they picked up the truck (at a different time per Larry). The establishment was dirty and disgusting.
