Have the correct vehicle on hand. I ordered a 15 foot truck two weeks in advance. I was given a 20 foot for the same price. I filled up just over half of the truck with things I needed to move and paid a lot more for gas. Also, it was much harder to drive. I understand how you move vehicles around but why offer a 15 foot truck if its not guaranteed. I can shop other places and get that. Also, I was sold the accident insurance even though I said I did not want it on my reservation. I found this out at 8 pm Friday night when reviewing my receipt. Check my order. Not fair business practice.

We were stressed because we reserved a month in advance and 3 days before they jungled around the location we needed to pick up. Finally got that settled and got a call 4 pm the day before that a previous customer didn't return on time and that we would have to drive 30 minutes each way to pick up before we could load and before having to drive 5 hours. I feel it is the responsibility of u haul to move a truck to our location if such things occur. Why should the customer who books a month in advance have to jump through hoops for others mistakes. We did also have a flat tire - waited on the side of the road for 2 hours, fortunately when the guy did come he was great and had it changed in 10 minutes. After both of these issues, U haul did grant us a small rebate which we appreciate. I just feel the process could have been smoother which wouldn't have cost the hard working U haul vendors money. This is the second time in a year that the location of pick up was moved around at the last minute. (Why is this the customer problem?)

Larry was rude. He informed me (after I had a scheduled pick up time) that he was taking his lunch during my pickup and I needed to change to accommodate him. He was rude to my son and husband when they picked up the truck (at a different time per Larry). The establishment was dirty and disgusting.

The man was argumentative and rude. He didn't know why uhaul rented me the truck on Saturday when it was already reserved for Sunday. I tried to rent in Beaufort they sent me to hardeeville did not give me a break on the miles and I had to deal with this mans complete rudeness. I have used uhaul everytime I have moved but I will reconsider next time.

This location was not the one that was close to my home. Cost more than I planned at 99 cents a mile just to go back to where I expected to be in the first place. I will insist on my local provider the next time. No problems with the location other than this.

to start with the original location was schedule by your dispatcher for okatie . the rep that called me was told I would be picking up after 4 pm and returning after 6 on Friday , they only scheduled for pick up at 4 on thurs and returned at 8 thurs . so they wonderfull agent at okatie set up for me to go and meet at Hardeeville , an inconvience to me but ok , I get to Hardeeville and the agent there is a totally lousy customer service rep , very bad attitude ,like I am incovienceing him even being in his place of business . gives me a long story about returning to his location or getting 500. dollar fine , if I was late a 500. dollar fine ( I was 1 hour and 15 minutes late but that is traffic for you , waiting to see if he billed me the 500. dollars or not . I was suppose to get a dolly to load with I get to load furniture and no dolly , ( have you tried to load and unload atruck without a dolly? ( had to pay coupe of local guy 100. dollars to help load ) . called the man at Hardeeville about missing dolly before I even got help his statement was I will take off the 7. dollar charge ( which he did do . but it was already going to be an inconvience to me even if he said come get a dolly ) . had to load by hand and pay others for help . now I will say he had a much better attitude . he appairentlly lives in his office ,which looked unproffesional to me but who knows maybe his wife kicked him out I do not know . the return of equipmet was much better than picking it up . this whole experience is not at all like I have had in the past renting from your company . hope this is not the direction your company is going to .if it is there is plenty of competition out there . I am fair about it I will use your company on next moving of equipment but if I get same experience ... you will move to the bottom of my list . sorry for the bad review but I received very bad experience this time with your company, and once things get settled down I will most likely share my experience with social media to warn others .
