The first customer service person was abrupt and not helpful, but his partner came over to assist me carry the dolly to the truck.
Front desk staff should be more "service" oriented.
Accept tax exemption like every other location. Ensure employees wear masks, it is Covid-19 pandemic time!!! Offer safe equipment, I have pictures of the front tires which fail inspection. Can submit if interested. Ensure trucks are clean, the one I got looked like someone sneezed on the windshield, extremely sticky steering wheel, interior wasn't clean. Overall a horrible experience, never had issues at queensway location in Etobicoke. Will never ever rent from that location again, and I am upset that I even paid them money I worked hard for, because they didn't.
Reservation made 2 days - customer before me didn't not return rental on time. Employee had me waiting for 15-20mins. No other 15inch truckd available, had to down size to a 10inch because I needed a truck asap. Had reserved elevator for moving. So inconveniente. Employee was not friendly at all what so ever about this. Would look for a different truck rental place in the future.
Have better plans for rentals with kilometers.
Truck was picked up at 3pm. Paid daily rate of 19.95. Daily rate is for a 24 hour period at any place have rented from in the past. By this logic, truck was rented until 3pm the following day. We had hoped to have it back that night but some storage locker issues arose and we couldnt unload that night. We returned it around 1230 the following day. Within the paid for 24 hour period yet we were still charged for 2 rental days. Staff made like they were doing us a favour by not charging us a $50 late fee. So, this business charges full day rates yet rents vehicle to several patrons in the same 24 hour period. If this is the practice they should. Charge a prorated half day rate.

Vehicle was dirty inside. Was only â…œ full of gas. Truck did not have electric trailer brake.

Staff at upper wellington were great! If you expect customers to fill gas tank to a particular level ie. 5/8 full....it would be nice if the fuel capacity was posted clearly in the cab of the truck.. i realize it is on the contract.....not the same.
Passenger interior had broken plastic moulding. Cargo interior had debris on floor (not swept). Photos of exterior damage were outdated and did not show the current state of the vehicle. Unfortunately, this poor quality in service and product is average for my experience with Uhaul. You guys know you have the lowest prices, so why try harder?
You can be honest and say you dont have enough trucks.We book on good faith that a truck will be there when we need it.We arrange for people to help us and then you cancel the time we book and give a time that is not convenient.During a stressful time we dont need more stress.Very disappointing! I lost a lot of respect and comfort for the uhaul company.
I was told that the rental truck was clean and sanitized before I picked it up and it was not. I asked for a few lysol wipes and had to wipe down the interior of the cab. There was debris and spills all over the cup holders and front consol. There were sticky substances on the pull bars. The wipes were blackened after a quick once over. I think that this is appalling during a pandemic. U-Haul makes a lot of money off people using their daily rental trucks and the company and employees have an obligation to keep the public safe. As for the maintenance of the truck, the alignment was off. Every time I've rented a truck from U-Haul it has not been well maintained. It makes me think that the insurance I purchase for peace of mind is a cash grab because these trucks aren't being serviced regularly. I've just come to expect this of U-Haul and it's competitors.
I had a confusion experience. I tried to check in by mobile. The screen prompts were a bit confusing. The pictures I had to compare the walk around to were very hard to see and were taken from far away. There was no way for me to see on the pictures if there was any previous damage.
Get a better website. Trying to reserve the trailer was a nightmare again. Sometimes wonder how your company became so big when the website is so awful. Why is the HST not included in the payment when checking in on line??
Staff are helpful and waste no time. Efficiency is key for many clients including me. Will keep your contact number in my phone.
Person checking me out forgot to add moving wrap to my bill. After I paid my receipt was given to another employee who I was told to meet outside. When I walked out with the wrap I was chased out of the store being accused of stealing. Upset me quite a bit to be accused of being a criminal because of your employee's mistake.
Great, fast service and easy pick up and drop off.
The manager made it so seamless to change over to a new vehicle during an emergency situation , it was greatly appreciated.
Overall, a very good experience
The trailer had used gloves in it and dirt all over the floor i rented this trailer to go pick up my new couch so I was disgusted that I had to put a new couch in that trailer the way it sat and the guy that connected the trailer for us used his hand to try to wipe some of the dirt out couldn't evan get a broom. So it's clear to see nothing was sanitized either in the middle of covid-19 pandemic!!!!! Absolutely disgusted by this!
They told me to wait 30 minutes BUT they had trucks in the garage. I don't know what games they were playing but it was messed up.
