check engine light came on I informed attendant inside he said did not have other truck just drive it and if any problems call and let him know was hoping not to get stuck while using truck and hoped engine did not blow up or seize .

We had a reservation for 9 am on a Sunday using mobile pickup because location was closed. We were given a picture and told We would find the trick to the right of the entrance. It wasn't there. We called the number provided and was told, " That hairball, you'll have to pick up at another location (20 mls away) with no reinforce for the additional miles. My husband thankfully thought to drive to other side of entrance and we found the truck. Then the fresh hell of completing the online pickup ensued... Noone was responding to chat to verify reservation... and they said they needed a passport or signed lease agreement to verify me (not driver's license?) Since my alt contract wasn't answering. (Because she was moving boxes waiting for truck to arrive) WHO CARRIES THESE THINGS AROUND WITH THEM? WHY isn't verification part of the pre reg process we did the night before? .... you've got my DL, credit card, etc! We called customer service and waited 18 min before call was answered and she said she had to transfer me... and I waited another 15 minutes.... AN HOUR LATER we finally were on the road. Moving is stressful enough. This process made it unbearable.
Sign on the door says "masks required" but when the service rep came outside to check the return rental he did not wear a mask and didn't have one in sight!
The guy I worked with was very thorough and very knowledgeable. He took his time to answer questions on the phone and in person . Well done.
The location was fine. I called customer service due to the truck that I needed being at a location 20 miles away. I waited on hold for an hour. I ended up taking the 20' truck that they had on site. I find it unacceptable the presidence set by your company is for a customer to drive an additional 40 miles at $.99 a mile to pick up a truck that you have a reservation for at a set location. Your service was an inconvenience costing me both time and money. In the future I will utilize another truck service and recommend to others they do the same. I hope that someone does take it upon themselves to rectify my experience.
This is the second time U-Haul has changed locations on where I NEEDED to pick up a trailer. I NEEDED the trailer for Sunday so I selected the Orchard Park location because the had Sunday hours and was only 5 minutes for my house. HOWEVER you sent me on a 30 minute trip to a location that DID NOT have Sunday hours. Too bad you have a monopoly on trailer rentals because I would go somewhere else.
The rental experience was flawless and so easy. I would absolutely rent from here again should the need arise. Thank you.
Local fast and easy to get trailer
The rep at All Seasons Storage, Hamburg, NY made it clear that I had to go through the app or that he could do it for me 19 June. The original website sign up should have imposed the fact that human interface was not going to happen. Confusing. Good app though. Also I took a picture of the half-full tank, posted to the app, but that didn't translate to my drop-off experience.
Just did an unassisted drop-off because gentleman who did U-Haul at this location was not there.
Possible indoor pickup. It was freezing out

The on line sign in took 30 minutes and was difficult
I ordered an appliance dolly - it wasn't there. Agent said she removed the charge - she didn't I did not order a utility dolly - I was charged for it I did not order pads - I was charged for them My final charge is more than twice the estimate.

Nothing however my only complaint is that the cargo light did not work in the back. We had to use a lamp to see what we were doing

Truck was previously used by a smoker. Reeked of cigarette smoke. Terrible to have to drive it for a long distance.
Uhaul switch pick up locations and times on me at the last minute.. when I arrived to pick up truck, nobody was at location.. we had to wait 20 minutes for someone to arrive, all the while was paying movers by the hour to stand around! ??????????
Worst Uhaul experience of my life. I made the reservation online the day prior: trailer and utility dolly. I get there the next morning and they did not have the trailer the website said they did, and hadn't had utility dollies there for months. So the guy offers me the trailer they do have with a $6 equipment reduction so I'm still paying the same. I get a copy of the rental contract with everything exactly as it should be for a total of 36.22. fine. I drop the trailer off 4 hours later and a few hours after I get an email with the final bill. My original reservation was cancelled and a new one created with this substitute trailer, the $6 equipment reduction is gone and I'm being charged full price $42.75. I couldn't get anywhere with them and had to deal with uhaul directly to get refunded my $6 plus tax. The whole experience with this place was a nightmare and I will go elsewhere for my uhaul needs.
Kid working was great. The check-in and check-out processes were quick. Vehicle ran well and was well maintained.
