I feel very sad about the abuse I received from two representatives they are at U-Haul first of all I made reservations in person with Jennifer then the next day I went to pick up the vehicle which should have been a pick up I distinctly asked for I am not able to jump up on a box truck I just had surgery and still going to therapy but when I went There to pick up the manager there said no you have no reservations here and I pleaded with her for I had already paid two men to help me move for that morning she was very rude Stayed it no no reservations. So I was forced to take a box truck then I came back brought truck back Jennifer said I should have turned the truck in by one therefore I lost my $100 deposit and I said no big mistake I took the truck around 10 expected to bring truck back by six she said no so we will have to charge you for three days bring the truck back on Wednesday when manager is here I stayed it are you kidding me I don't Need truck anymore please can I return it now Jennifer stated know you will be charged until Wednesday evening. I went home part box truck and thought about it called my daughter explained and she said no mom how do you take the truck back now. I need corporate to give me a call as soon as possible these people you have working in your office on 51st Ave. and Glendale are liars very rude don't know what's going on I feel they took my money more than I had I am a senior and was very devastatedJUANITA G.
Nothing terrible happened it was just not a great experience. Nobody was smiling, I was not greeted, I was not thanked, and I was not asked if everything went smoothly. It was like going to Home Depot asking where a product is and the store employee points to the department and turns around to walk away. Then the register person is quiet and asked for payment then I am handed the bag and leave. So yeah, I got what I needed. I know rentals are in demand so good service is not required due to the demand but, I am still in control of my money. There was another issue with milage but since it was only around a $4 overcharge, I let it go knowing this will not happen again since I will not visit this location again. If you need a rental and you're a non-social person, you will be satisfied. If you are a social person and appreciate good old customer service, then call before you reserve to see if everyone is happy that day. I am not picking on them, I just have been in customer service for 37 years and this visit needed some fine tuning.Gary L.

Would never recommend Uhaul to anyone and i'm letting everyone i know to avoid it. Picked up my truck here that was for a move from AZ to NC first issue i had the lady hands me keys tells me to grab a dolly on the way out and that my truck is parked somewhere on the left after searching i found it wedged between two other uhauls after a few maneuvers was able to get it out then noticed all the scratches and dings on the uhaul it was enough for me to let one of the guys that was outside know he advised to take pictures of the damage so i would not be charged then drove off and noticed the steering and breaks were awful but the truck is big figured it was due to that. Fastfoward to being at the boarder of AZ to New mexico and the check engine light comes on great try to get uhaul on the phone get customer service who then transfers me to roadside but there is a 20+ hold time unfortunately being in the middle of no where the call drops figured ok new mexico is not that long a drive will call when we hit texas Check engine light shuts off then we hit texas stopped for some food and the truck just turns off try to turn it back on it won't turn on call roadside they let us know since its a sunday and late no one will be able to come for 5hrs kept trying and the truck turns back on let roadside now dallas is a 5 hr ride and thats our next stop would rather get there and then have roadside come out he said thats fine just to call as when we get there, we are about 30mins out call and let them know the location and they say they are on the way to assist within 2hrs ok no big deal then he says someone has to stay with the truck i let him know i would much rather get rest so im ready to drive the next part of the trip he said sorry someone has to stay with the truck then we get there about an hour and a half later a teach gets there he is super friendly and ready to help he said its a crankshaft position sensor that needs to be replaced it will be a quick fix and in the morning at 8am he can get the part be back and have us back on the road by 10am as long as uhaul approves sweet!, so i wait and wait and i haven't heard anything from uhaul or the teach so i reach out to the teach around 11am and he said his boss and uhaul are on a call trying to figure out what to do so he suggests calling uhaul call uhaul im advised that i need to wait and they will call back soon well at 4pm i reciece a message that the vehicle has been repaired and im ready to go but no one has been here call uhaul and they say its safe to drive no repairs are needed. then i call the teach back he said its drivable but not safe as it can break down and stall at any minute due to it miss firing. Call uhaul back let them know that they say give them a bit and they will call back recive a call at around 7pm saying that i am going to be given a new uhaul to which point I'm furious its late its raining and we are in the middle of a tornado watch in Texas and now i have to unload and re-load this uhaul because they can't get mover because its too late. They do give me a set amount of money since they normally would hire movers and they offer to buy me and the 5 other people re-loading the truck dinner. We have to keep starting and stopping due to bad thunder and lightning finally finish at 4am we are exhausted but unfortunately since we were unable to unload the whole truck and reload the truck the way it was due to rain, thunder and lightning not everything fit after speaking with 3 uhaul reps i get them to give me a small trailer for the rest of the trip and to fit the remaining items. Because of all these delays we ran super late in getting to our location i almost lost my new job because we were days behind schedule, lost my initial apartment but was able to get moved to a different one and it was just an awful experience will never rent with uhaul and hope no one else does just an awful company they don't care about there customers and don't want to do what's right by them if they had just repaired my truck it would not have been as awful but they put me through all of this for no reason and it makes no sense since every rep said we are trying to get you back on the road as fast as possible yeah right you took your sweet time and because of reloading the truck and it raining, lightning we were unable to load it the way it was my stuff got damaged but uhaul doesn't care about anything.DANIELLE L.
