Getting a new location an people. I was reading reviews b4 I used this place. Some said they were charged 2 or 3 times the same amount. Well i was charged 4 times. I have my receipt for the 1 real charge, but I don't get how u are charged 4 times, an 1 charge came today. I just use this uhal yesterday. SAD!

I wish the staff would have been more helpful. Although I did opt for the mobile order I had trouble with the link and they just told me to call customer service. I eventually figured it out myself.
So it appears my card was charged twice for the $152.62 which is frustrating, once the transactions post I will be calling in. All I wanted to do was help a friend move who is struggling financially and then I get hit 2 times. $152 is a manageable price $304 is not. Thanks though everything else was great!
Improvement with inline check-in
I was scammed to pay 113$ for my down payment to use truck for 5 hours less than 20 miles. He informed me I needed to pay 113$ holding fee and it would be returned to my card. He also did not correctly charge me for the actual miles and gas used. After transaction 113$ - 47$ I should have been reimbursed 65$ at least. Not happy with service at all. Stole my money.
took a very long time to check out because every time a customer came into the gas station/convenience store, I had to move over and allow them to conduct their business even though I was first in line and was in the process of being taken care of. Very slow check-in. This was not my first choice for pick up location and had to travel miles away which cost me more money because of added mileage. Called days in advance to reserve and was not told I would be required to go to another location until the day before. This was not a good experience.

The operator demanded I park across the street in another shopping areas parking lot, even thought there was ample parking at the location. I had to cross a busy street to park and retrieve car. If I didn't need the van at that moment I would not have rented there. When I pointed out how unprofessional this was the operator went berserk.
Have parking for customers who are renting for a short period of time to leave there car. I had to park my car in a near by shopping center & walk back in the rain to get the uhaul.
This locations 10 foot truck is great. Really well maintained, felt like new breaks, engine ran great, steering responded well. It was a good truck that was easy to maneuver.

Software to authorize rental did not work right. It would not allow the rental until the PC was re-booted. The software also did not have my model of vehicle (4Runner SR5), with factory-installed tow package.
The truck had an issue with getting into gear. Other than that, it was ok.

Van was clean and service was fine. Had to wait for several customers to be checked out with regular gas station related purchases. My only real complaint is that I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. Why? Truck was returned exactly as I picked up. Seems arbitrary and makes me think twice about renting from U-Haul again.
This location is in an unsafe area. After I rented a van from them I was told I could not leave my car in their parking lot during my rental period which was only a few hours. They stated they did not have room yet I was removing a vehicle and wanted to leave mine in it's place knowing it would be safer. The gentleman then told me it was not safe in his lot and he would not be responsible for it. He insisted I park my car across the street in a shopping center parking lot risking being broken into or stolen. When appealing with him that I would not be long he got irate with me. When I returned a little over 2 hours later instead of checking the van immediately for mileage, gasoline, damage etc. This should be done immediately in case their are any issues. I was told they would check it within the hour and email the invoice. Finally after five hours and having to call I received the invoice.
Vehicle was filthy. Hair all over the interior of the vehicle and just our right dirty.
I have rented Uhaul trucks for years. One thing I've noticed is the vehicle maintenance is questionable. The steering is always off. In this rental there was a lot of play before it actually started to turn and I was always fighting in both directions to stay straight. Very dangerous.
The service was not customer oriented. You shouldn't have to wait 24 hours to get a receipt emailed to you. There shouldn't be just one person who is capable of checking the truck back in. That person wasn't around the day of I returned the truck. What would've happened if the truck was damaged between the time I returned it and the time the truck was inspected?
Soo many different issues happened during my rental process. The online 24/7 verification process is a joke and can't be relied on.
