Better customer service (peter) argued with me about gas ($20.00). I put $20.00 of gas in the truck before returning it. I offered to go over the truck when I returned it. I was told it was not necessary. I received the invoice with a $20.00 charge for gas. When I called to explain that I put gas in the truck ($20.00) the customer rep(Peter) argued with me . He said it was 7/8ths full. It certainly was not empty. Be cause of this conversation I will not use UHaul again and I willshare my experience with anyone who should ask me.Edward P.

I'm not sure what the make up is as far as the engine and truck is concerned but every U-Haul that I have driven appeared to run really bad with horrible suspension issues. The one I had almost did not start at least five times during the time I had it however I was able to get done what I needed to get done and make it back. All in all it ended up being a good experience and I was able to get done what I needed to get done.Robert F.

1. You should make people know in advance that these small trailers don't have a jack. 2. Proprieter was very helpful in making sure I knew how to use the equipment. 3. I got several phone calls asking me to return the equipment so that another family could have it. Once I'd gone past my scheduled return time, I had to pay for a whole extra day, so I had no incentive to return it for this other family to use. I returned it a few hours late and got charged for 24 hours late. If you really want me to return it so that another family could have it then you should have offered me some incentive, for example prorate the charges.Jean P.

I had reservation for 9.00am but I unable to get a vehicle until after 12.00pm. The vehicle was not available at the reserved location and I had to spend more money to get the van at another location over 20miles away. I was disorganized and I had to do my task late into the night. I am now making a claim of the transport charges from the reservation location to the next. I hope no other customer goes through this terrible experience.Christopher K.

Teach employee's to have respect to customer's and not be rude or cantankerous. This was the 1st time and last time I will ever use U-Haul at this location. It took over an hour to receive keys when truck was reserved. .I had to make 3 trips to get my paperwork and and took another hour to receive paperwork when returned key. I was accused of not topping off gas when delivered which was untrue.brian S.

In the past year+ I have rented many vehicles. This location definitely wasn't the best but also wasn't the worst. They were average. They provided a clean vehicle, and it was easy to drop off and pick up. Some other locations have locks on the backs, which is a nice feature, but as I said they got the job done.Robert M.

The person who was going to "check me in", didn't. Two days later, I had to call the main UHaul number to get this performed. I don't know why this happened but fair warning if you drop off at this site.tracy W.
They did not believe me when I said I filled up the truck's fuel tank. They insisted that I was wrong and that I was lying to them. They did not believe me until their guy checked it out. I felt belittled and unappreciated as a customerMatthew S.

The person working at the gas station (owner?) who signed me in was very friendly in the beginning. I turned the vehicle in after hours. While taking a picture of the cab, the cargo bay, the area I was parked and the odometer with the gas meter, a gentleman who was in a truck behind me began unloading his truck into the gas stations dumpster. I got a call today from the owner asking why my buddy was dumping in their trashcan. I told him I did not know the man even though he talked to me to tell me that the lights were on when I was walking to turn in the keys. As stated on my report there was an electrical problem that I noticed when I was using the truck that the lights took a long time to go out. These are the running lights I am talking about. So after the gentleman asked me about my buddy I told him I never met the guy in my life. He told me I was talking to him that he had it all on camera. I told him the man had told me about the lights and I said thank you I've already reported it. The owner then proceeded to tell me that that was the person I came with. I told him if he has it on camera then he will see that I turned in the keys and walked to the other side of the parking lot where my ride was waiting in a little red car not a giant black truck. The owner then hung up on me. Pathetic business I would never recommend! the vehicle was dirty but I would expect nothing else from these business owners.William S.

The reservation was for another location. The original reservation was for 8:30. Then it had to get changed to 9am. The night before a UHAUL rep called and left a msg for a 9:30am pick up. I get to the 7401 B & A location, truck is not there. I had to pick up at 345 Hospital drive. This put me behind scheduleMelinda M.

I scheduled a 20' truck to be picked up in Glen Burnie Maryland at 9 AM on 5/14. The day before, Uhaul changed it to 5 PM pickup on 5/14. I had to change to 15' truck because that is the only one I could find in the area. While I understand trucks may not be available. That was a drastic change in time. There was no compensation offered and no assistance to get a similar time with smaller truck. This truck was also not well maintained. It would have difficult starting after you shut off the engine.Timothy M.

Both cashiers were very rude. The women in the morning when we picked up was extremely rude and when we dropped of in the afternoon the gentleman was extremely rude and called my mother cuss words and told her he would send us the bill and end the reservation when we felt like it. I would not recommend this gas station u-haul service to anyone and think they should reconsider doing that type of business there.Shellie B.

I had an horrible experience with uhaul at the Glen Burnie/ Hospital Dr location. I arrive to the location and was immediately told the 26' truck I reserved was NOT available and the only truck they had were 15' trucks! I was livid! When I asked what can be done they said I WOULD HAVE TO CALL ANOTHER LOCATION IF I WANTED THAT TRUCK! I exclaimed â€œThis is not my wrong doing you have to assist with trying to find a truck to accommodate my move. That truck is too small.â€ Long story short uhaul customer service AND other uhaul location DID NOT pick up their phones and I was forced to use the 15' truck. As a result I had to make two trips to complete my move AND I was unable to return the truck at a location closer to my new home. This experience was the ultimate gas guzzling inconvenience during a terrible period of inflation! I am disgusted with uhaul and taking my services to PENSKE in the future. DO NOT GO TO GLEN BURNIE/ HOSPITAL DRIVE for your UHUAL!Tirsheia S.

The windshield was so duty was hard to see. Truck didn't have a full tank of gas. I didn't noticed that, until it was time to put gas. I filled it up took almost $81.00 dollars. I spoke to the attendant at the time. But he couldn't help me. Asked me to call the next day. I still haven't call anyone about it. Still moving and things are hectic. I have never rented a truck that didn't have a full tank of gas before. Not happy with this location at all.SANDRA M.

I feel it was bait and switch pricing! I rent a 26' truck every year at this time. I made a reservation for pick up 10/28/21 on 8/18/21. I was quoted a price with some miles included. A week before I was to pick up the unit.....I get a call from customer service telling me if I want that rate and included miles, that I had reserved in AUGUST, I would have to go get the truck about 100 MILES AWAY or I can pay the new rate and pick it up a few miles away! I asked for her supervisor and the supervisor said that U-HAUL was being proactive by calling me a week before to let me know about the pricing and that I would have to GO GET THE TRUCK.....like they were doing me a favor! Remember I was the one that secured the truck and price quote on August 18, 2021. I was the one that was proactive. I would NEVER change a price to one of my customers after a representative of my company quoted them!Thomas S.

I reserved the truck for 1pm. At 12:35 I received a call from the Manager letting me know he would not be there until between 1:30 and 2 but I could check out using the app. I filled out all of the information in the app including a request for an alternative name and phone number. When I was finished the app timed me out. This happened three times. Finally I opened the chat and was told that my alternative number (my wife) was not answering. Here is my problem. The app doesn't say to is going to call them- My wife like most people, won't answer a number they dont know. If the app had said it was calling the alternative number as part of check out I would have let her know look for the call. You need to include that in the app. Btween the manage not being there and the app I was an hour late taking possession of the truck.Joel Y.

I am pregnant, this vehicle was unsafe for me to drive. I had to pull over twice in the interstate, the mirrors kept collapsing in. I ordered a 10ft truck and got charged for the 15ft rate. I had the vehicle for 8 hours and was charged an overage fee. The rentals are supposed to be for 24 hours. Extremely disappointed.TENEKA N.
