Van was clean and service was fine. Had to wait for several customers to be checked out with regular gas station related purchases. My only real complaint is that I was charged a $25 cleaning fee. Why? Truck was returned exactly as I picked up. Seems arbitrary and makes me think twice about renting from U-Haul again.

This location is in an unsafe area. After I rented a van from them I was told I could not leave my car in their parking lot during my rental period which was only a few hours. They stated they did not have room yet I was removing a vehicle and wanted to leave mine in it’s place knowing it would be safer. The gentleman then told me it was not safe in his lot and he would not be responsible for it. He insisted I park my car across the street in a shopping center parking lot risking being broken into or stolen. When appealing with him that I would not be long he got irate with me. When I returned a little over 2 hours later instead of checking the van immediately for mileage, gasoline, damage etc. This should be done immediately in case their are any issues. I was told they would check it within the hour and email the invoice. Finally after five hours and having to call I received the invoice.

I have rented Uhaul trucks for years. One thing I've noticed is the vehicle maintenance is questionable. The steering is always off. In this rental there was a lot of play before it actually started to turn and I was always fighting in both directions to stay straight. Very dangerous.

The service was not customer oriented. You shouldn’t have to wait 24 hours to get a receipt emailed to you. There shouldn’t be just one person who is capable of checking the truck back in. That person wasn’t around the day of I returned the truck. What would’ve happened if the truck was damaged between the time I returned it and the time the truck was inspected?

The time to register and sign up for the truck took over a half hour because the connection was slow at the gas station.

The truck that I reserved was not available because the prior renter did not return it when he was suppose to. There was a smaller truck available

I did not like that upon my return no one looked at the vehicle and no one could give me a receipt. After the fact the receipt looks OK so that is fine but it was not like a normal business transaction.

This was not the pick up location I chose. I had to accept this location or lose the reservation. This location being a gas station, the employee had to multitask with convience store sales and completing my Uhaul transaction. He Made multiple attempts to load my driver's license into the Uhaul system. My license should have been on file from my rental a month and half ago. The inside of the cab of the truck needed to be cleaned. The store manager made a brief attempt to wipe here and there and remove trash from floor, console and glove compartment. I drove it home and thoroughly cleaned it before my four day trip.

When I left site with the u-haul truck $144 was held in my account. When I finally returned the truck at about 2pm. My final bill was around $88. But as of 11pm the money that was held on my account had not been refunded.

My pickup location was changed & I was NOT notified & when I called customer service twice, I was transferred each time 4 times!!! Very rude customer service! Will never use uhaul again! I truly hope your calls are monitored for quality assurance! Check your calls into the Baltimore traffic center on 8/19 from 9:46-10:05! Another customer lost!

The person responsible for the Uhaul service was not available when I returned the truck. The lady who was at the counter was very unfriendly and told me to just park the car and leave, and that I should wait for the email receipt, that she cannot process the return. She said that I should receive the email less than an hour. It came a day later when I was seriously thinking about calling to complain. Unless there is no other Uhaul location available, I wouldn't necessarily go back to this place to use the service.

Although I had already reserved the truck at a different location, gave them my credit card and info, the night before got an email saying to pick it up at this location. It took me another 30 min for the lady to figure it out and I had to do everything all over again!
