App didn’t work could not upload pictures of ID. No knowledgeable person available to help. Made many phone calls to get it done Took more than an hour to complete the pickup. Could not get the blankets for moving.

Well, first off the location that I tried to rent from in DC said that they had no trucks available... only to discover when passing they had about 10 of each different length truck. Secondly, the U-Haul system that found the 10’ truck in Gaithersburg put me an extra hour away from where I needed to be which made my move longer then necessary. Last of all, the Gaithersburg location is a little hole in the wall BP station. The truck I was allotted looked like the previous driver had hit/drove over something as the front bumper was no longer sitting correctly on the body of the truck. Not impressed U-Haul, not impressed.

The attendant was not knowledgeable on the return process, hence I will not be using the site again. The block is too small for all the complaints.

I rented a 10' Truck for 24 hours at 1:30pm on a Sunday. The clerk asked me when I intended to return the truck and I said I was hoping to get it back the same day due to working the next, but that I was unsure. I then verified that it was a 24 hour rental for the $19.95 and he said yes. When I went to return it at 8a the next morning, the system charged me for two days given the clerk chose to put in a return time of 8:45pm. The Monday clerk was unable to modify this and demanded that I pay it or call Uhaul to fix it. While I believe the clerk was not intending to be rude - rather I believe there was a language barrier - it was NOT good service. I called Uhaul and Jessica was very nice and helpful, but could NOT fix the problem either. I was forced to pay an extra $21 for a 2nd day rental, even though I returned the truck w/in the 24 hours. Then the store clerk was unable to process my credit card OR print my receipt. Horrible experience. I am appalled that Uhaul would not allow their customer service call center staff to fix a problem at this level. Why bother HAVING customer service if they have no authority to fix such a clear low-level problem. I was promised a manager would contact me to resolve the issue and that never happened. I just checked my account and I did get the refund for $19.95, which I appreciate, however, the customer service process at the store, on the call line and in the refund process was all abysmal!

I waited 2 hours to get my reserved truck, the person working in this gas station was not trained at all, it wasn’t clearly his fault. It was probably the fault of the person who put him there cause the worker was trying to help me, but poor guy didnt have any training.

Took awhile to return truck since this is a mini-mart / gas station. Took forever to get the truck returned and they couldn't take back unused straps and bungy cords.. Gentleman there was polite but I felt sorry for him being bombarded with customers, trying to return my truck and the place was not air conditioned and VERY hot.

No signage. Place looks like you drive in the wrong gas station. Fuel gauge additional charge really upset me. Printer was broken and couldn’t print a receipt

The agent was busy with other customers and we waited for a long time before our order was finished. Also when we returned the truck the same thing. It's a handy area to get a truck but you have to wait a long time.

I felt very disrespected by U-haul. I requested the truck about three weeks in advance. the day before my move, I received a message saying that the place where I would take my truck changed. And besides, when I hired U-haul there was an advertisement that if I turned the truck over in a certain place, turning up to as many miles I would pay 50.00. I did everything as arranged. But again U-haul did not meet the agreed, and I got $ 74.00 off! A disrespect with the consumer!

Attendant was rude and argumentative when I asked questions on the phone and in person. VERY poor customer service!!!! Fuel level was under 1/2 and he said that was ok tht I had to bring it back with a half, would not acknowledge dent on vehicle, etc. Left location VERY frustrated with the experience.
