The cab was VERY grimy - there were food particles all over and it was dusty and the seats felt sticky. Also, I requested and PAID FOR a dolly, which we did not receive. I'm still waiting to see if they'll give me my money back. Funny enough, the receipt says that there was a dolly AND that the dolly was returned! HA. Shows that they don't actually check.

The first U-Haul we picked up turned out to have a bent stabilizing arm and had to be returned. Customer service said they gave us a free day for this because we had to turn around and drive 30 miles back to return it and get another one. They also said we got a free day because we had to pick it up in another state from where we were. Too bad for us they didn't bother to put it in the computer and that cost us both headache, money and time. Bad form.

The right side tire was worn and cupped on outside of tread... Was only on the side we inspected on the bottom of tire.... not the fault of checkout guy but still need a closer inspection.. it made the trip without problem and at Redwood City location they said they would pull equipment and replace tire.

I was tremendously hungover the day I had to deal with you guys, and wasn't looking forward to the interaction, but he explained everything succinctly, gave me a thorough list on policy, and made my day that much better

I had a long distance trip over two days and 20 hours of driving. On day two, two hours into the drive, the "service engine" light came on and the UHaul 800 number assistance said to keep driving and since the truck was operating as it had since pick up and all gauges were in normal ranges. Well, 5 minute away from my destination (6 ours later) it started to make loud knocking noises and was barely drivable and I pulled into a gas station. It was Sunday and the 800 number took over 20 minutes to connect. My phone battery died while on hold. Once I did get to a voice, they were of no help. Eventually another roadside operator said to just drive it. I made it to my destination going 20 mph and then I limped the truck to the UHaul drop off location on Monday. To sum it up, I was not impressed with the roadside assistance 1-800 number attendants. The gentleman at drop off was very understanding and accommodating. Made me feel somewhat better. Bottom line is the operators at roadside assistance need to be better at getting help to a stranded truck. I was concerned that driving the truck further would cause more damage that would somehow cost me money. That did not happen, but it was unnerving. Hope you find this helpful....

Thanks to the manager who accepted my equipment. The manager stopped what he was doing to help me. Great job at this location. The other U haul agent designated for drop was closed on Monday. That was not convenient.

I would like to see hours on Saturday opening at 8 a.m. Also, minimize re-entry of data at pickup. We reserve on line and the location has to re-enter most again.

The return, on a Sunday, was confusing - your reminder e-mails were of no use as the link you indicated in the last sentence of the e-mail you sent me several times - 72205 AFM@uhaul.com - did not go through.

Be more consistent and cooperative! The first time I rented a Uhaul the employee was very unwilling to be flexible and help me out with certain aspects of renting. The second time I rented a Uhaul, the employee was much more willing to help me and it was a better experience overall.
