The Uhaul system was down which created total chaos resulting in 3 hours of lost time, needing to pick up a truck at a different location (resulting in a $30 cab fee), being told that it had to be a round trip (resulting in canceling a bus ticket worth $28), and having to pay on-site instead of over the phone.

I want to say may be because we almost got stuck in parking lot, this was my fist time self drop off, so we drove in with our personal car also so my ride can wait by the visitor parking space for me until I finish the process on my mobile device. as per UHaul instruction, I parked the cargo van that I had rented all the way in the open space. by the time I was going through the process, other 2 customers came in and parked by the entrance and when I tried to tell them to move it in, their response was " don't have time". luckily there was some room between walkway and other parked vehicle we were able to get through. it was very scary moment because we had baby in our car and God for bit if we were really stuck there, I don't know what would had happened! I think you should have at least one person to guide them or they should be penalized for this kind of behavior. I am taking my time to write this comment, since you asked me to comment on my experience, I hope this may help you and help me decide if I want to be a return customer. Never ever renting from uhaul again, terrible experience. Lack of support from customer service as I was hung up on twice and the third time, they redirected me to uhaul storage. Uhaul database, regarding 3rd party uhaul business, lack of information as I was sent a confirmation email to a location for my 8:00pm pick up, only to get another text message at 8:05pm, redirecting me to another location that is closed. FUCK YOU UHAUL AND never renting again. I was charged an extra $20 for "no show" i believe, when in fact i was at both places. SO F U and have a nice day!

I had filled up the tank to full and took a photo of the dashboard as well as the vehicle and I got billed for not having a full tank AND for damage on the right side of the vehicle. I also have a photo and am unaware of any damage to the vehicle. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged additional frees when I have proof that I was not responsible for any of those fees. This is shocking and I’m not sure what happened to the vehicle over night AFTER I had dropped it off at the uhaul center.

I recommend if you are trying to move at the beginning of the month and on a weekend to reserve the van ahead of time. You wont find any if you don't do so, learned experience. Overall, it was a good experience.

Awesome friendly staff! Especially the ones who inspected both receiving the truck and after! I would highly recommend rentals from them! Even the moving blankets were very clean and almost new!

What this review doesn't capture is that fact that I had find this location myself the day before my move. I reserved a 15' truck a month in advance only to be told the day before (when I called because I had not heard anything) that none were available in the area I selected. The agent said they couldn't help me find a new one because Queens was not in their region. Then I was told that a "reservation" does not equal a "confirmation." Please fix this semantics tickery. If a "reservation" really mean "request" then change your term as "reservation" everywhere else implies something has been reserved.

More staff late in the afternoon when people are returning equipment. The one staff person there did a great job, but when multiple pieces of equipment are returned at the same time, and he also has to outgoing equipment, including attaching a trailer, it can take a while.
