The original p/u changed the morning of to a location forty miles away. Then after receiving the truck 7 miles down the road we had to turn around because the alignment on truck was so bad to the point of being to dangerous to even drive. Concern for our safety because the drive to our destination was about three hours away. Upon returning the vehicle, the location chosen for drop off was actually not a running establishment which made me late returning the vehicle. Obvious reasons were I had to find a location that would let me return the U-Haul truck. The drop off location then charged me for an extra day for being 8 minutes late. I don't know if this is standard procedure, but I called to get it resolved. When doing so I was told a refund couldn't be processed until the issue had been submitted for review. Then I may or may not get the funds returned, this is completely unacceptable after the constant issues in regard to renting with U-Haul.

The location in Dunn was GREAT! It was the series of events that lead us to Dunn that caused stress and headache. We called to make a reservation and set that over the phone with the operator, I received the email confirmation that said my reservation was set at UHAUL MOVING AND STORAGE AT COLISEUM, this was fine. My husband and I left Raeford, NC with a borrowed DIESEL truck only to arrive at the location and get told that our reservation has been moved to a location in Raeford, which is the town that I just drove 25 miles FROM to get to the original location. However, my husband and I load our 4 year old back into this jacked up 2500 Dodge Ram and drive 25 miles back to Raeford to pick up an auto transport trailer only to the the location that we were assured would be open CLOSED until Monday, this was Saturday at 1:45 PM. We call back into the Uhaul call center and try desperately to locate this trailer because we have an agenda that we are already behind on and NONE can be located in the area. My husband then decides to call Pop Mart in Dunn luckily they have one! So once again we load into this huge pickup and drive 30+ miles to pick up the trailer. After losing nearly 4 hours of our day we were able to transport the vehicle that we needed and return the trailer and truck, finally arriving home after 1:00 am. It was also very inconvenient that there is no direct line to speak to a local representative.

I rented two trailers in two days and both times the operators could not get the card reader to work properly. I tried to decline the insurance and the system would not allow. Don’t know if it is a training issue or what but it was frustrating for both sites. The operators were very nice and helpful.

I am So glad there was a u-haul rental open on Sunday. I had planned on moving Saturday but due to rain I couldn't. The people that was going to help me move could only help me Sat & Sun before they had to return to work on Monday. Had No idea I could get one on Sunday until a friend told us where one was opened in Dunn. We got the truck moved everything & returned truck in same day. It was a whole lot easier using your truck & moving it ALL in one load. Thank You for the use of a much needed vehicle for Moving. I will tell everyone & refer them to you!!

Nothing to offer in terms of improvements. Manager of location, and his wife, provided excellent service as well as a clean dependable vehicle. It was a small operation in a small town, but there was nothing small about the service this couple provided.

This location needs cargo vans and pick-up trucks for local customers. A box truck is an inconvenience for some moving or transport needs. As for the customer service, the interaction with the representative was very pleasant and he was more than willing to help with your needs and services. A very pleasant experience and would recommend this location.

The truck was not clean. When I went and picked it up he said the gas was in between 7/8 and full and it wast just above half when I took the truck back he wanted more money for the gas when I already put it back to where the gas was the truck was dirty when I got it.

Have all fluid levels checked and filled up, inspect windshield blades and the interior, check everything for proper functions mainly charger outlets !!! To have some sort of checklist to be checked off by personnel releasing vehicle for all items mentioned.

This whole rental process was POOR. My original rental was scheduled for a pick up in Warsaw, NC. On my way to Warsaw, I noticed the location ha a closing hour that was different from the closing hour listed on the website. I called and transferred my rental to Benson, NC. This transfer was properly completed. Upon arrival to Benson, NC (Tobacco Warehouse), the clerk told me that my trailer was rented out three hours earlier. She told me I could pick up the same size in Dunn, NC. I drove to Dunn, NC and completed the pick-up. Due to poor customer service and scheduling, I ended up going out of the way to eventually pick up my trailer. Also, when I id get the trailer, the cost was higher than my original contract. I am totally dissatisfied with how this rental process occurred and feel I was given the runaround through this process, in addition to paying more than the original contract cost. Also, your questions above does not allow for the addressing of this issue.

Make sure they inspect truck with customers during rental (pre-trip inspect) so they can't charge nobody for something they didn't use.
