The reservation system is a little messed up. I reserved a truck online, went right to the store (9 and Telegraph), and they didn't have the truck. I had to go to another store (8 and Telegraph).

The truck was very old and outdated. Serious maintenance should be done on brakes. Everytime I came to a stop the front end would shake very badly!!

Desk clerk did not use your reservation system well. After I filled out all reservations info 3 days ahead of rental, including prepayment, and check.-out, she couldn’t find my res. so asked almost all questions again then found it. Next she wanted to charge me again then found my prepayment. Huge waste of my time and hers! Trailer was great.

My rental was supposed to include a dolly to move heavy furniture in and out of the truck. To my surprise I get to my house and no dolly, called the store and they said my bad, the dolly was supposed to be in the truck. I asked the location to rectify the situation as I had already driven 20 miles away. There suggestion was to come back and get it and incur the $.99 cents a mile. I asked for the manager to call back and they said they had to end of business day to call me. Never received a call, poor customer service. At least own up to the situation and offer an apology and some discount or something. This location has a lot to learn about customer service. I wont be using this location again and will think twice about using Uhaul for my moving needs ever again.

The employees were very unprofessional. They proceeded talking back and forth about another customers account; as we stood in front of them to receive assistant. It was to the point that I felt it just might be a prank. They didn't discuss anything. They only answered questions I asked. There was no urgency to assist customers. I will not recommend this location to anyone. Customer service skills are terrible & unpleasant at best. Additional training is a necessity.

I reserved a truck the day before but when I went to pick it up I had to wait in line 45 minutes but the return time did not take this into accout so it was like losing an hour. Drop off was much easier took less than 5 minutes and did not have to enter the store.

I have no issues with this location...but my overall experience with Uhaul and their Ubox service...has been miserable and to put it mildly a complete failure of trust. This behavior started in Texas and ended in Michigan, I thought I could not get worse from the initial start in Texas but it did. Uhaul staff was even frustrated with Ubox and their own customer service...long phone wait times, inoperable website, double billing and inadequate representation with Moving Help...this service or lackluster service costed me over $1800. The staff at this location was very apologetic and hoped it didn't effect any further dealings with Uhaul. It absolutely did. I will definitely shop around to avoid any further transactions with this organization.

I am an African American businessman and I thought just because I was African American I was asked for more ID and verification. I was a little offended- I am a Financial Adviser and could pick up that I was being judged a little more aggressively even though the representative was also African American???
