This location is a gas station with no separation between gas, shop, or u-haul transactions. Very poor awareness of my order details, even though I had done the advance check-in. The whole transaction was done through the gas sale window, only 1 Conoco representative on site. I needed 2 queen mattress bags, he seemed puzzled by what a mattress bag is, but then showed me his wall rack, no stock of queen size. I would never use this location again. I went to the Wadsworth Bypass location for the bags, and that was excellent, dedicated u-haul location, they stock everything, I should have gone there in 1st place.

Fire the attendant. He did not answer my phone calls, constantly interrupted our business on site with mini-mart or gas customers, did not clean the truck (dirty from prior user), told me A/C worked when it did not, gave me no paperwork, and was generally useless. By the way, the truck had no A/C (it was 100 degrees in Kansas), had a hole in the roof, and has a faulty electrical system - at various times during operation, the check water light, the engine service light, the discharging battery light, the brake failure light, and the too many RPMs light appeared, flickered on/off, and caused much consternation for the driver. What's with that? The receiving location was notified. How about a partial refund for me?????

We made our reservation at least a week before pickup. When we went to pickup the truck the size we ordered $19.95 10' was broken so we were offered the next larger size $29.95 15'. Complete overkill for our purposes. We didn't receive a phone call before pickup-so we had no idea there was a problem. Awlful customer service. This location is so close to our house and so convenient. This is the third time - and will be the last time - we have had issues. The time before when we arrived we were told there was not a vehicle!! Even though we had our online confirmation. We had movers ready to help with our move - but because of crappy customer service - our scheduled move was postponed. Since we had no lead time we couldn't get another truck. Go there at your own risk!

The young lady was not well informed or trained on how to accept turn ins. She did make a phone call and the man on the other end assisted her and walked her through the process

Thoroughly train the staff on the software and rental equipment as well as procedures. My experience was that the woman checking out the equipment was unfamiliar with the software functionality and did not assist with physical inspection of the equipment or hook up of the trailer. I had done the online check-in for the trailer prior to arrival at the location and the process to check in with the clerk still took over 25 minutes excluding wait time.

The attendant abandoned me before my vehicle was hooked to the trailer with lights and left us sitting in the dark. Could not take trailer w/o lights but was charged and now customer service won't answer the phone!!! I want my money back!!!!!

The lady on staff was pretty new and needs some more training. She also let three people pass me in line before I put my foot down. Just because uhaul reservations take a couple minutes to process doesnt mean I should have to wait for other people to buy lottery tickets and cigarettes.

Location was supposed to be open at 7:00. He did not show up until 7:15. Trailer lights did not work and we spent over 45 minutes trying to resolve. I left at 8:00 with the owner trying to find me another trailer. I called back in 15 minutes. His solution, come back at 4:30 as he would have one. As we had to drive to Des Moines, this was a poor option. His 2nd choice...take a truck and tow my car!!!! Ridiculous! I asked for the dispatcher 's number. I called and got a trailer on Alameda at 8:30!,, Conoco station was worthless and a disaster! I could not have been more disappointed!

There was a dolly and furniture pads that I did NOT order in the uhaul that I picked up. We didn't see them until we opened the uhaul at our house. We took them out and didn't use them (we have a ton of stairs so the dolly was more of an inconvenience), but I was charged $10 for both the furniture pads and the dolly once I returned the uhaul and got my receipt.

Let's start with that I placed my order online and filled out express checkout as well.. as I get to my pickup location it took over 10 paid minutes to check me out as the employee had no idea what truck I ordered...makes zero sense. Then he asked how long I would take since they close st 9:30pm I said why does that matter what time I drop it off? He gave me the excuse that people steal the trucks... and asked if I could bring it back in the morning at 7am. I said no I will not, why would I unconvince myself when I am the paying customer.. so I finally get the keys and let me also remind you I rented a furniture dolly that he aassured me was in the truck. Sure enough I get to my place and open the back of the truck and to my surprise no furniture dolly.. I was beyond frustrated. But that's not the icing on the cake as the gentleman never gave me back my license so not only did I have to rush back to grab it before they close st 9:30pm which put serve stress on me. As I get there I told him there was no furniture dolly he was shocked that it wasn't in there, ya I bet.. I asked for it and he searches 3 trucks and nothing in them but the last one had a dolly but not the furniture one, such a joke.. I just told him forget about it and take it off my bill. All in all stay away from this location, horrible expernice, and customer service.

Make sure truck is in safe driveable condition! The right side mirror was loose and would. It stay up when driving. I was basically driving a 26 foot truck with car transport trailer blind on the right-not safe.

Not a great place to return a larger trailer. Parking lot very difficult to navigate. Attendant did not seem will to assist with parking in a tight spot.

I'm so annoyed. I had a coupon for Budget rental that was $10 less for the truck and also less per mile. Budget didn't have a furniture dolly, so I decided to pay more for uhaul. The uhaul checkout experience at the gas station was awful. It took about 15 minutes and I'm not sure why. I filled out all my information in advance. Usually when I rent trucks from uhaul it only takes a few minutes. He asked for my credit card and types it in. Then he asked for another credit card. I asked why. He said for verification. Then he types my second credit card into the machine. The guy finally hands me the keys and didn't tell me which truck was mine. I asked him if the dollies are in the truck and he said "I don't know, go check" I checked and they were not. I went back in and told him and he said ok what kind of dolly did you order. I said a furniture dolly and a box dolly. He hands me an appliance dolly. I told him I didn't order this. Then he gives me a box dolly. I asked about the furniture dolly and he said he didn't have one. This is literally why I went with uhaul. When I got back he said the gas tank was at 3/4 when I left. He didn't come out to the truck when I left so not sure why he thought he knew where the gas tank was. Luckily I knew this guy was shady so I took a picture of the gas meter and the odometer before I left. I showed him the picture and he says "ok ok that's fine". I totally busted him in a lie. The return process took another 15 minutes. He kept changing the starting and ending fuel levels on his uhaul app to change how much he was charging me. It was super sketchy. Finally there was a line behind me and he asked me to step aside for the fourth time so he could help someone else. I rolled my eyes and he said I'm all done and free to go. I have no idea how much he charged me. I paid for two dollies and blankets and only got one dolly. It made my move much harder and longer. I'm pissed.

No one walked me around to check out the truck prior to me taking it out he just had me sign at the counter that it was Okay. I had to go out to the truck and get the mileage reading in the end and I accidentally locked the keys in the truck and he had no spare key. The move went well and the truck worked great!

He had no idea I was picking up a trick. It was covered with snow and there was no snow scraper available. I had to use a gas station squeegy. I got no paperwork back except for a carbon copy receipt. It took forever. He changed my drop off location....But then I got an email 2 hours later with a different drop off location. Contractors do not make for a good U-Haul experience....
