I asked twice about having to put gas in it upon return and was told I didn't have to.



The inside of the windows are not clean and make vision unclear during transport. Otherwise, they were awesome. One of the only rental facilities open in Denver, and on a late Sunday night; the last resort. Trash from the last rental was left in the unit, however it was not horrible. I would definitely recommend them again. Location is safe and reasonable.

I ordered dollies, moving carts and pads, when I arrived at 9am moving day, he told me he didn't have any of those items. So I was forced to go to another location to get the supplies. As a result of this, I lost out on an hour of truck rental time that I was paying for. In addition to that, the customer service was very unsatisfactory. While waiting to have my truck signed out to me, the attendant would stop every 30 seconds or so to help someone else(who was there not for uhaul but for the convenience store) buy a pack of smokes, or pay for gas, resulting in my checkout taking twice as long as it should've. Even if you live in the highlands, there are better options than dealing with this.

I had my reservation lost or not observed. i paid online, did everything ahead of time, and still waited for 30 min in a hot cramped gas station. I rented a hand truck online and there was none for me. How does one move with out the dolly? pain in the ass. Never going back for anything to that Uhaul dealer.



I reserved a 10' truck ($19.95) and when I arrived they only had a 15' truck available for me ($29.95) and I had to pay the additional $10. There were several additional charges included that were not mentioned when I reserved online. It took them 30 mins to process my reservation.

The whole experience from beginning to end was a nightmare. I called the day before to request a bigger truck and was assured they had one and would not be a problem. A friend and I arrived before 9:30 a.m. our scheduled time only to find out she had to re-enter the whole information that I had already entered since September 9th, they did not have the bigger truck that I had requested and assured I could have when I called your scheduling department talked with a lady who hung up on me and since I did need to talk with someone I talked to Cassandra and was told that I would have to drive to Arvada to get a bigger truck or a truck at all since the ones at that place were not to leave town. I told Cassandra that I was never told this before and now (after an hour) we had the movers at home waiting for us, there would be no way I could drive all the way to Arvada as movers were charging per the hour. The lady at the Conoco station told us that the trucks could go out of town and that was not a problem. She kept entering more information and told us that my card would not go thru, the same card I used to make reservation on Sept. 7th and which I had no problems using someone else. So my friend used his credit card and if it had not been for him, my dad and I would have been stranded in Denver as the house had already sold and we needed to leave that day. Later I called City Card (my credit card) to see what was the problem and was told that they must have entered the numbers wrong as they had no record that anyone of this transaction. When we arrived to Rio Rancho and went to return the truck, I was told that the truck should have never leaved Denver as it was not meant to be out of town. I told the gentleman helping me, Donovan, that the lady in Denver told me their trucks could leave town and obviously we could not have gotten keys and truck if she had not given them to us. Before going to return the truck, I called the UHaul at Southern and asked about a storage unit to rent, was told not a problem. When we got there with the movers, they had a storage place in the worst place they could possibly find and we had to request another one. My family for many years when we had to move, always used UHaul, I myself when I have had to move I have always called on UHaul; unfortunately the last time I had to use UHaul was twelve years ago and had no idea your services had declined so much and to the point that when I needed to have a trip with less stress and for that same purpose I had made a reservation since - September 7th - it was a nightmare having to deal with UHaul. You can be sure that I will never again rent any of your trucks and will make sure my family and friends know about my experience so it will not happen to them again. It is truly a shame that you have run to the ground a company that had prestige and professional customer service, not the joke that it is today.

The battery for the 10ft cab over died on. Me twice had to charge before I returned it the front end of the truck shimmed down hill when there was a load on it I had to make my trip short do to the problems the women that was in the station was told by me about the issues and Response was none by the employee I feel I was over charged for the rental I payed cash put one hundred ten dollars and thirty-three she gave me hundred ten when told thirty-three cents was short she told me she didn't have change two customers was picking u a reservation the system was down her customer service was horrible no help to them who to call or were to get a rental I payed for ,280 miles didn't put close to that brought the rental back 7 hours early do the truck problems took one and half hours to get my deposit and I'm really feel I would not fent again from uhall again that o got ripped off Not A Happy Customer

I had reserved a 10ft truck and when I arrive they told me I couldn't rent the one I reserved because it was double booked. They gave me a 15ft instead and charged me the price of the 15ft even though I had previously booked the 10ft. When I asked if they could consider the 10ft price, they claimed the office was closed and the boss of the gas station wasn't answering and made me pay the higher price.

Better check-in system. I had to end up reserving and checking out on my phone because their system wasnt working after we went through it twice. Even after I checked out online, i had to run my card three more times in person. I rent from Uhaul a lot, never had this experience before. Not a big deal, they just need an actual Uhaul computer, not a laptop with bad service

This was a poor experience. It was in a very busy, cramped convenience store. The clerk spoke poor English and had difficulties using the computer. He was the only one there and could not leave the cashiers cage, so I had to do the hookup myself. And finally, they did not supply the furniture dolly and blankets that I had ordered and paid for (I had to get them from another U-Haul rental location along the way). It seems that these owners are stretched thin by just running a convenience store. I suggest that they should not be a U-Haul rental location if they can not efficiently run that business.

This location is a gas station with no separation between gas, shop, or u-haul transactions. Very poor awareness of my order details, even though I had done the advance check-in. The whole transaction was done through the gas sale window, only 1 Conoco representative on site. I needed 2 queen mattress bags, he seemed puzzled by what a mattress bag is, but then showed me his wall rack, no stock of queen size. I would never use this location again. I went to the Wadsworth Bypass location for the bags, and that was excellent, dedicated u-haul location, they stock everything, I should have gone there in 1st place.

Fire the attendant. He did not answer my phone calls, constantly interrupted our business on site with mini-mart or gas customers, did not clean the truck (dirty from prior user), told me A/C worked when it did not, gave me no paperwork, and was generally useless. By the way, the truck had no A/C (it was 100 degrees in Kansas), had a hole in the roof, and has a faulty electrical system - at various times during operation, the check water light, the engine service light, the discharging battery light, the brake failure light, and the too many RPMs light appeared, flickered on/off, and caused much consternation for the driver. What's with that? The receiving location was notified. How about a partial refund for me?????



We made our reservation at least a week before pickup. When we went to pickup the truck the size we ordered $19.95 10' was broken so we were offered the next larger size $29.95 15'. Complete overkill for our purposes. We didn't receive a phone call before pickup-so we had no idea there was a problem. Awlful customer service. This location is so close to our house and so convenient. This is the third time - and will be the last time - we have had issues. The time before when we arrived we were told there was not a vehicle!! Even though we had our online confirmation. We had movers ready to help with our move - but because of crappy customer service - our scheduled move was postponed. Since we had no lead time we couldn't get another truck. Go there at your own risk!

Thoroughly train the staff on the software and rental equipment as well as procedures. My experience was that the woman checking out the equipment was unfamiliar with the software functionality and did not assist with physical inspection of the equipment or hook up of the trailer. I had done the online check-in for the trailer prior to arrival at the location and the process to check in with the clerk still took over 25 minutes excluding wait time.
