Mr. Putnam at the Conoco station on 38th and Tennyson was very accommodating, friendly and provided excellent customer service. We rented a truck just for a local move, was simple and easy. Will rent from this location again.

Extremely inefficient check in process. The individual working at the store had no idea what he was doing, and insisted on helping out every single person that came into the convenient store instead of helping me. I was entering my own information into the system in stead of him! This ultimately took forever, and put me way behind schedule. Not to mention the overall frustration.

The lady at the desk was very nice and did her part fine, but I had ordered a dolly and furniture pads and they weren't there. I'm not sure whose responsibility that is, but I really think that you folks should have gotten that part locked down pretty well at this point. It's pretty darn inconvenient to plan on moving with dollies and whatnot, and then show up and not get any. Furthermore, it appears that the "safemove insurance" got added to my bill at some point in the process. I am extremely skeptical that I somehow added it accidentally during the online checkout, so this really feels like something getting snuck onto the bill at some point later in the process. I'm pretty unhappy about that.

The clerk did not know how to check me in and complete the rental at the front end, the level of gas on pick up was indicated at 3/4 of a tank when in fact is was just over 1/4, and there was no check out other than turn in the keys. The link to upload pictures of a dent on the passenger door and document the incorrect gas level was not working. Customer service was great when it came to correcting the charge for gas. I have rented from Uhaul before and did not have any issues. I will not rent from this location again.

Actually, it was not the locations fault as much as U Hauls! I had completed Exptess check in & prepaid, yet waited 1+ hour for the keys!! I also got charged more than I was quoted! If you do not contact me asap, I will never use or recommend U Haul to anyone.

I signed up for moving help and they were going to send 2 people for 3 hours. A guy called in the am but no one ever showed up. Do to this fact I want my money back for the help. I also will never tell anyone to get moving help from U Haul.

The agent barely spoke english and could not get the reservation correct and then I had to get on his computer to complete the reservation correctly. The U-haul was dirty and the side mirror was broken and the truck alignment was way off.

first designated time changed from 8am to 10am then when I arrived at 10 am the building was closed with no one around - had to call then wait over an hour for someone to arrive at site to give me the moving van

I reserved moving blankets and they didn’t have any. They told me I would get a refund if I returned my truck early which was not correct. They were very nice but it’s just a small gas station with no moving supplies or knowledge about the equipment,

It would be appreciated as a customer if I make a reservation to pick up at a certain location and have the truck available at that location. I had to drive 28 miles south of me to pick up my truck. When I returned the vehicle they wanted to charge me for the additional mileage. Also, if the trucks could be cleaned, that would also be appreciated.

The person working there did not know how the process works while using the app. I ended up spending more time trying to rent the vehicle through the app than if I had just gone inside. The clerk definitely needs a better understanding

The gentleman at the gas station where the uhaul's were to be picked up was not knowledgeable about how the mobile pick up worked and I along with another gentleman could have benefited from him being able to assist. I did call the help line and the lady I spoke with was nice and was quickly able to help me.

The attendant skills with operation the computer is limited to one finger. In spite of that it took a considerable length of time to complete the transaction, because the business owner demanded he service walk in customers first. I was not advised of the additional charge for insurance, but my company liability covers non-owned vehicles. Never again and my recommendation to friends and business associates is to avoid U Haul.

I showed up for my reservation for a 10 foot truck and when i got there the man running the place had no idea what he was doing. He said he didn't have a 10 foot truck for me even though there was one sitting right outside. He said that the 10 foot truck outside was not able to be rented for some reason. He then told me that he had 15 foot trucks available but it would cost more. i finally gave in because i was in a hurry and needed the truck. Nothing about this experience was pleasant and I will certainly not be using uhaul again after having to deal with that.

I reserved moving pads and when I arrived the attendant informed me that they didn't have any. I inquired as to why, and he said they just didn't have them. I said that's strange because I reserved them, and he told me that someone else had bought them and that I "should probably just go to war-mart and buy some". So my advice is, if someone reserved moving pads, please have them there. People need these to move and if they aren't there when I go to pick up the truck, it really derails the whole process. Not to mention U-Haul misses out on what I imagine is a nicely margined product segment.

My uhaul was returned Friday 2/15/19 before noon. I received a phone call from Uhaul on Saturday 2/16/19 telling me they were waiting for me to return the vehicle and were going to be extending my rental until 2pm on 2/16/19. I called immediately to tell them I had dropped off the vehicle to the Uhaul representative, Gautim at the Conoco location the previous day. He had taken down the mileage and verified the gas tank was full. I returned the keys to him and left. Today I received a bill in excess of $80 for a rental that was to cost me about $30. the receipt listed 8 gallons of gas and a $15 insurance coverage that I did not select when I reserved the truck. This needs to be sorted out

The attendant did not speak English well and was not trained in the rental protocols. Also, I was overcharged for the second time this year when using Uhaul. I had to spend additional time on the phone with the Uhaul corporate office to receive a refund.

The person who helped me had no idea what to do. It was a nightmare. I left in tears and unsure of so many things. I will never ever use this location again, if I even use uhaul again. I will probably use home Depot/Penske next time.

I opted out of the insurance online and when I came in to pick up my truck, they told me I signed up for the insurance and that there was no way to reverse it. It was a huge scam. The office also smelled like urine. I will not be recommending this location to anyone.

Make sure you are partnering with a willing station. The man working at the Conoco station did not want me to drop the truck off there due to limited space. I was driving a 20 foot U-Haul and he instructed that I park it in a very difficult spot that required three people and 15 minutes to navigate. When asked to help, he responded that he "doesn't know how to drive a U-haul." Very bad and stressful experience.

The location itself is dirty. The location does not have standard dollies or pads for rental. The owner is also cheating customers- not by much but by a couple dollars here and there. I took a picture of the odometer and gas fill level when I picked up the Uhaul and when we dropped it off, and didn’t match the final numbers that appeared in my receipt. They did not know what they were doing. They were confused whether they had check in my truck. Said it was taken care of but had never confirmed the return. I had to visit and call. was told it was OK but was then billed extra days as they had not entered the return correctly. Totally disorganized and not ready to service customers.

First I reserved a trailer online very close to where I needed to be. I received a call to let me know that the trailer was not available. There were actually no trailers available soI opted for a 15’ truck. Problem is it was an extra 15 miles from where I needed to be. I was charged .99 mile in the first place. So my bill was an extra 100 dollars to the same thing I would have done with the trailer. On top of that the guy asked me the fuel level and told him I literally just filled it up. But I noticed on my bill he put 3/4 of a tank and charged me another 15 dollars for gas when I had just put 25 dollars in it. Worst experience yet with U-Haul in this location. He didn’t go out and look at it himself like most of the locations.

Equipment I had been guaranteed was not available (15'). Local customer service (supposedly 24 hour) was unavailable. I received a missed call back but with no message left. 800-number for UHaul resulted in me being on hold until I lost patience. (You should consider changing your hold music to something other than being told the same thing over and over in 15 second cycles.) I ended up taking the 10' truck that was available. Conoco staffer at the gas station was helpful and professional.

I contacted the gas station at 38th and Tennyson the day I was scheduled to pick up my truck. I was told there was no truck for me, and to contact Uhaul. I did, and was told there was in a fact a truck. I went to the gas station, and was again told there was no truck, so I called Uhaul again. It took an hour to get the truck rented finally. I requested a discount the second time I had to call Uhaul, because I had movers waiting for me and did not need the additional stress on the day of my move. I have not heard from Uhaul at this time.

the person who was working was very new and was not well trained in this transaction. I had to wait for about 45min-1hour to be able to pick up my uhaul. This was problematic because I had paid moving helpers who were waiting for me for over an hour.

The reason I provided a poor rating is because the person who helped me was not trained on the truck rental process and the paper work was not handled efficiently or correctly. I returned the truck at 1pm after using it for two hours total, and I was told everything was good. Then several hours later around 6pm, I received a very angry phone call from a Uhaul representative saying that if I didn't return the truck immediately (even though I had already returned it hours prior at 1pm), then the truck would be reported lost or stolen. So I have no idea how such an error could occur especially since my bank account had already been charged by the time I left the location at 1pm.

No one knew I had returned the truck that same night, I was misled about the amount of gas in the tank, and after driving 9 miles in three hours, and paying $65 up front, I was charged with another bill for over $100, a week later. I will be fighting that charge and contacting uhaul management to discuss this matter further. I think your business is great but now my bank account is overdrawn and I can't get to work because of an oversight on your end, and an overcharge onto my card that wasn't authorizated to pay that amount. Please respond soon to try and limit my stress.

Luckily I had a good idea on how to hook the trailer up. I would expect the Uhaul location to do more than point at the trailer and say. There it is take it. No safety check, or orientation on equipment. There was no electrical cable for lights hookup, had to come back and ask for that.

The truckbed (not the cab) had leaves and dirt in it. I ordered a utility dolly and it wasn’t available. The man behind the bulletproof glass was rude, dismissive, and no help to me when he did not have the equipment I ordered. The blonde woman that I returned the truck to was very kind and helpful.
