When I brought the truck back..nobody came out to inspect the truck, or read the mileage...I was not checked in properly...They just asked if I had left the key in the truck....I have yet to receive a final statement of the charges...Which is usually done instantly...It dawned on me after I left...that they gave me no proof that I had even returned the truck....since the key was left in the truck per their request...if someone had stolen the truck...U-haul would have held me liable.....I called the branch next day (today/Friday Dec, 8th.) and I was told that the truck still had not been checked in yet!!!..They promised to e-mail me a final statement....I have received nothing yet..Except this raet your experience request.

The truck that I rented rear view window on the passenger side had been taped from someone else renting it, also I was charged a a fuel sales tax twice on the invoice plus the additional cost for refueling. I understood that if I did not refuel the gas their would be an additional cost, however I do not under why I was charged a EZ Fuel Sales charge per gallon for the rental of 19.13 cents that was told to me the initial rental was only 39.95$. The sales person was so busy talking to someone else while offering customer service to me that he did not explain all the charges. I will be talking with my lawyer also about the invoice because I will not pay for charges that I do not owe.

My designated drop-off location was shut down - it's closed for business, yet I was offered it as a drop-off location. I tried a 2nd location which turned out to be closed for lunch, but that's not mentioned in the opening hours. I tried a third location and they said they didn't have room for the trailer (just a 5' x 8' trailer). So I had to call U-haul and go to a FOURTH drop-off location to return the trailer. The whole process took hours, and miles of driving, and needless to say my drop-off was much later than expected. Pretty frustrating.

A little bit of education about the way around the operation of the vehicle would be helpful. It took a while for me to find the gear shift signal in the van. It's behind the steering wheel. Its not a very large display and not readily visible. So a hint about wipers, radio function, gear shift display etc. would be nice.

I originally went to Candler road location in Decatur. That was the worse customer service I have ever gotten. I am not a fan of UHAUL. The lady said she was going to charge me $25.00 to help me take my car from the Tow Dolly. even though when I made the reservation, your Reps said they would do that at any location for free. If every company in America operated like your company, America would be a Terrible country, just like UHAUL is a terrible not caring company. If you cared you would train your employees to have better customer service skills. Here's hoping I never have to used UHAL again.

The employees working the desk were not the friendliest, but they got the job done. The van was in great condition and just perfect for our need, and the price for an almost 2-week rental was very reasonable.

The Trucks lights turned off on the highway in the middle of the night- no speedometer, no lights at all. Extremely scary, could have easily caused a fatal accident. I was therefore unable to use my rental for almost 24 of the 48 hours, due to darkness. Awful Value.

The customer service was excellent. I could get the self checkout to work. The agents on the inside were ready and willing to help. They were prompt and polite. I will certainly use and recommend this location again.

The staff was helpful. Location was clean. Truck ran well. However, the truck had an obvious screw in the tire and was still in service. I was told it would be fine. There were not many available trucks for out of town one way travel so I very possibly could've been left without a rental. Luckily there was one other available.
