Get better trucks with better odometers. The truck I was given had a very bad odometer and they tried to overcharge me for something that I didn't do. I didn't even get an email copy of my rental contract. But they argued me down that I went over my mileage when i didn't even really touch the limit.i suggest you look up the information yourself before charging.

I was charged 809.00 for a truck rental for 12 days. I could of bought a used truck for that price. I was a dedicated customer for many years after this experience I will never use you company again and would tell people of my experience and to condemn them not to use this company. The manager was horrible and did not answer any of my question to satisfaction totally bad experience.

The staff on location were very friendly and helpful, but the entire computer and phone system was down, so it took us two hours to figure out which truck was mine and check in. We had to go through customer service online and through the phone and the people over the phones were unfriendly and unhelpful.

I had a miserable experience with the UHaul employee Simone Hill. He was short tempered, rude, and dismissive of my questions. He asked for me to provide a second phone number and when I did he openly questioned if I had lied to him with fake number. The entire UHaul experience was good except for Simone Hill.

First: This location (on Memorial Drive near Columbia in Decatur, GA) has a wonderful staff and the new store is impressive, clean, well stocked and very pleasant. The work area (counter top, and cabinetry with monitors, credit card machine and items for sale) is NOT BIG enough to support all the work that must be done - I think it was 'set-up' for 3 or 4 clients BUT there is room for only one or two employees. You have a ton of space in the lobby but your employees have to stand on top of one another in a rotation in order to get anything accomplished. The truck. Bad, experience, it had a steering wheel that was about 1/4 to 1/3 OFF CENTER! The right front mirror could not be adjusted! I wish I could have had a different one. I talked to a person who took in the truck about these 2 things and I am confident that he will report the problems. I am sorry it didn't meet my expectations nor was it safe. But I do appreciate the people who work here, they are top-notch. And they care about the clients. You can fix the vehicle, it will be safe but you can't fix the personnel - they are already awesome.

Website said Sat. hours 7am - 7pm and "24 hour dropoff". I arrived at 6pm but was told that I couldn't unload my truck untill the next day and would be charged an additional truck rental day. Regular dropoff hours ended one hour before office hours ended. Went back to read deeper into the website and found nothing alerting me to this. Confusing to say the least. Otherwise Simone(?) was very courteous and patient.

They were extremely rude. The right brake light was not working. I pointed it out and pointed out that it had electrical tape on it. The person checking me out told me it wasn't a big deal and that he didn't need to change the equipment because they (uhaul) wouldn't charge me on the other end because it's their equipment. I said it wasn't about me being blamed for the light not working it was about me towing a vehicle in the evening (i drove through the night) that did not have a functioning brake / running / turning light on the right side. He wiggled the cable around. The light turned on and he said "there you go, it's fixed." It clearly wasn't fixed. Every stop down to Miami we had to wiggle the cable to make it come back on AND I was stopped 2 times on the way down to Miami. Thankfully, I just told the police this story and the cops let me off with a warning. I literally had to tell the police how incompetent one of your employees was so that I wouldn't get a ticket because of your employees incompetence....

The other employees could take a lesson from Simone Hill. He's very professional & had working. He goes above & beyond. My move was a disaster but Simone help me weather the storm. He's a tremendous asset to Uhaul. The stars are for him and Uhaul's equipment.

Reserved a 20-foot truck but got “upgraded” to a 26-foot truck for “the same price” (the sign said they were always the same price). The 26-foot truck was old, loud, Smokey, and full of body damage. Also did not receive credit on return for a dozen moving blankets that were unused and still in original wrapping.

When I brought the truck back..nobody came out to inspect the truck, or read the mileage...I was not checked in properly...They just asked if I had left the key in the truck....I have yet to receive a final statement of the charges...Which is usually done instantly...It dawned on me after I left...that they gave me no proof that I had even returned the truck....since the key was left in the truck per their request...if someone had stolen the truck...U-haul would have held me liable.....I called the branch next day (today/Friday Dec, 8th.) and I was told that the truck still had not been checked in yet!!!..They promised to e-mail me a final statement....I have received nothing yet..Except this raet your experience request.

The truck that I rented rear view window on the passenger side had been taped from someone else renting it, also I was charged a a fuel sales tax twice on the invoice plus the additional cost for refueling. I understood that if I did not refuel the gas their would be an additional cost, however I do not under why I was charged a EZ Fuel Sales charge per gallon for the rental of 19.13 cents that was told to me the initial rental was only 39.95$. The sales person was so busy talking to someone else while offering customer service to me that he did not explain all the charges. I will be talking with my lawyer also about the invoice because I will not pay for charges that I do not owe.
