I had to go back the next day to have the rental checked in properly. I returned the truck but I did not ask for a receipt there for the employee did check the rental as returned.

The entire front end had play. The steering wheel had such play before steering actually caught and the popping sound as you turn the wheel. Customer service was good just truck maintenance.

I rent from you an awful lot and this was by far the very worst experience I have ever had. The truck ran like shit. Obviously missing our on a couple of cylinders. Kept dieing when i stopped. Had not been cleaned. Not been checked. And the associate kept walking off.

when renting a trailer, it would be nice to provide the customer a draw bar and ball free of charge. my draw bar and ball were not the right size, and I had to purchase one before I could take the trailer.

The guy at desk was very rude, the truck transmission light stayed on, truck ran hot temp light kept coming on, and I explained to them and they just blew it off

Had nothing but problems when I rented the trailer. They wrote done all the wrong information on my truck told me I had 24 hours with the trailer to find out they put 6 hours. Got pulled over and had to call and get everything worked out. The lady to did the rental wouldn’t stop talking about getting out of there so she could get drunk and how drunk she’d be on Sunday for her child’s birthday party. Then it took over 30 min to get some one to actually hook the trailer up and they only started to help because I finally backed up too it and started to hook it up myself. After Renton several trailers this wasn’t expected. I got charged to be lied to, stuck waiting and almost get a trouble with fhp... unless someone finds a way to correct this I will never rent from U-Haul again

Some policies are very rigid and unfair. For example, we filled up our tank with gas and went over $30 more than we used. We were denied a refund for this. However, U-Haul would not have had ANY problem taking my money, but refused to reimburse us. I felt very cheated, and it made me not want to do business with U-Haul ever again, but because we had no other choices in the area, we were forced to come back. As a corporation, I would think return business should be won because of the excellent service that was provided, not because the customer had no other choice but to return. Trust me, I did not return to U-Haul with confidence. I think that a responsible practice would be for U-Haul to train employees to council the customers that if they bring back the tank overfilled, they will not be refunded. We would have waited to put gas in and made sure not to loose our money. Some people can't afford to WASTE $30. U-Haul is a large corporation, but I am a school teacher, and $30 is a lot of money. This practice is Very UNFAIR and deceitful. I plan to tell all my family and friends about this very DISCREDITABLE practice. Alvin, however, was excellent and respectful and it's because of him I will come back when the need arises again, not because of U-Haul. I hope that the company is serious about wanting to hear how they can improve. Customers should never leave a business feeling cheated or bamboozled. That is not the way reputable business is conducted. We have usury laws for a reason.

Panic set in when I received a message that we didn't return car dolly. I am thankful that I took pictures that was proof I returned the car do back at 8:05pm on the same day. This required making 2 phone calls to the Orlando office. I spoke with Paula first. The second call back I spoke with Nicole. An hour passed because message left said we will be charged for everyday it isn't returned. Maybe Uhaul should hire a part time staff to do check-ins after hours or have a box n ticket of proof of return of rental items. Paula n Nicole were great listeners, very professional, my thanks too them deeply for processing my return. I now feel i have to keep eye out on overage charges to credit card. Just let them know that when returning the trucks after store closed hours to take pictures cause they are going to need them to upload when returning the vehicle I didn’t knew about it but luckily I always take pictures of items and stuff so when online ask I had some not all of the ones it had ask for other than that is ok.
