The young lady at the desk had gracious little training. Every time myself & the customer ahead of me asked a question, she didn’t know the answers & had to call someone who was outside. I gave her the location of the drop-off U Haul & she gave me a location much further away. I’ve used the ISB U Haul a number of times & service was always great. This lady needs more training before being left alone with customers.

A representative needs to visit recommended drop locations and verify they are in safe, working order. This location was good but it was an alternate as original location was a chained lot off a back street with no structure.

When I arrived and went inside to pickup the truck rental that I reserved online my wife and I noticed there were NO employees anywhere. After about a 10 to 15min wait a man came in to wait on us he seemed a little aggravated he then tried to find my reservation that I’d previously made online but could not after several more mins he explained that he had in fact found the reservation and very quickly had me singing and initialing. He spoke fast as if he was in a rush as I’m sure by now he was because by then there was a line. Also online the hours were listed Sunday until 6 but it’s really 5pm. I also left the truck with more gas than when I picked it up. I’ve received an Email saying I owe additional charges. Really good luck with that!

This location made early check-in fast and simple. We spent only about 20 minutes in the store. We received a new truck with nearly a full tank of gas. Which is almost unheard of these days. The representatives at this location were very friendly and helpful. The store was organized and clean. I would recommend this location first to friends and family.

I rented the uhaul with 3/8 of a tank of gas which is halfway between an 1/4 and 1/2 this gauge did not have a mark so it wasn't exact when I dropped it off it was between the same two and the last called it a 1/4 I was then charged 18.75 for the fuel charge even at the 4.50 a gallon it wouldn't have taken that much when I asked he told me to read the contract and I was treated poorly I feel ripped off and I've never had a problem with uhual before and I will never again

Was told when i made reservation incould pick up trailer in ormond with a confimation itnwas there. Headed to pick up trailer and was told i had to go to daytona to pick it up. Once i got to daytona i was told i could not return it to ormond but again had to return it to daytona. When finished i had to call store 2 times and wait 20 minutes for someone to check me out while i waited outside with no one in line

Sunday 1/14/18 10-11:30am. Incredibly long wait to get trailer. The person was knowledgeable once I made it up to the desk, as was the person outside assisting with trucks / trailers. But 90 minutes to rent and pickup a trailer is ridiculous.

What a truly awful experience. Never again are we giving uhaul our business. We had 2 storage units at the Daytona Beach facility. When we went to load everything from our units, we opened them and the staff had pulled 2 empty ones. We waited nearly 30 minutes for them to look for and pull the correct units. Mind you, I called the day before so they would have the correct units pulled for us. As if this wasn’t bad enough, the staff lost one of our units. After waiting for nearly 2 more hours and being asked to walk through the warehouse ourselves to look for the unit they lost, we finally decided to leave. I went in and asked if they could not charge us for the miles so we could take everything from our first storage unit back to our apartment while they looked for our second unit. I was told they would adjust the mileage for us since this was their mistake. We later still got charged for it. After we unloaded the unit we called the facility to see if they had found our second unit. They refused to call us back and keep us informed. After our third time being routed to the customer service center they finally got in touch with us 20 minutes before they closed. We were told the unit had not been found and they would start looking for it again in the morning. The next morning I called an hour after they opened for an update. I was transferred to the customer service center and had the customer service reps instant message them 4 times. I finally got a call back at 1:30pm saying they found the unit. Then I got a call back 2 minutes later saying it was the correct unit number but the box was empty. I was then asked to make ANOTHER trip back up to uhaul to give them my units key so they could start trying to open boxes. When I got there they had a suspicion about a certain box. Finally they had found our second unit. This is absolutely ridiculous and the staff needs to learn how to perform their job. This not only cost us money having to go back and forth but we had to sleep on the ground since the second unit had our mattress in it. It also had the rest of our one year old sons crib in it so we had to have him sleep on the ground as well. They found the unit at 3:30pm and closed at 5 that day. The manager told me that all he could do for me is not charge us for a second day with the truck. For all the trouble this horrible location put us through we should be reimbursed for the full amount. I will be leaving a bad review anywhere I can for this location. This company has lost our family’s business forever because of how horribly we were treated and how very little we were compensated.
