The only thing I am upset about is I literally live 3 miles from uhaul we drove the truck 6 blocks from my house there and back 2 times and back 3 miles there no way I went 28 miles this is my first experience but next time I will take a pic of milesERICA T.

The truck was dirty didn't notice because when I got in the truck the sun was shinning in and could not see it till I drove off and was almost home with It took picture of it and called the guy to report it and he said just let the uhaul place in Davenport Iowa know that I had took pictures and they wouldn't charge me. The guy at Davenport was amazed that he let me take the truck like that, there was dried soda all over passenger door, and the windshield was cracked all the way across the passenger side. Plus I rented it in Pekin Illinois and thought that is where I would pick it up but nope got a call the next day and was told I would have to go to bartonville, Illinois to get it. It was out of my way and further away from where I lived. They did give me extra miles but that's not the point.Regina T.

They were awesome! I had read other reviews so wasn't expecting to be treated so well. I asked why they had several bad reviews in the past. Was told they had new management now, the previous management didn't care. The people there were great, I was checked in, the truck was brought up to the front, pads loaded and ready to leave in less than 10 mins. They took the time to explain the contract, fueling and answered any questioned I had. I would use them again on my next move. Only thing I would comment on is the "Before you leave" email/text I got. Didn't know I was going to get it so didn't check my phone before I left. When I did check it, it had expired. I walked around the truck and inspected for any damage before I left so it worked out fine. An electronic world now so be aware of that.James B.
As an Air Force Veteran who worked in the personnel department, I notice certain areas other may not. Specifically, my expertise, if you will, was Quality Control. That said, I focus on all elements of a staff that others may not. That includes, appearance, speaking skills and how well they treat customers. But first, I have to give a shout out to the manager at this facility because the staff generally feeds off the managers skills and attitude. This staff was personable and seemed to enjoy their job. Additionally, in these days of racial tension, I enjoyed seeing a diverse staff; people of different backgrounds, sex, and colors. Naturally some were more knowledgeable than others but all seemed willing to give the newer workers a helping hand without embarrassing them with snide comments like "how long have you worked here?" and/or "did your father pull a few strings to get you this job?". Hat tipped to the crew and supervisor. Job well done. Btw, I even was offered a cup of coffee during my waiting period. On top of that, customers were offered a bag of oranges and apples, free of charge. You can't beat that with a stick. . Hip Hip Hooray for U-Haul that day! One more good thing. The place was very clean inside and out. The rest room even smelled fresh and clean. One recommendation would be that everyone still wear masks. This roaring pandemic is not close to being over, regardless of what some politicians want you to believe. I still wear mine to protect you from me. I hope others would to the same. The gentleman who helped me to begin with was amazing when I returned the truck the one who waited on me was rude arguing about everythingYOLANDA L.
After getting the key, the agent was helping us get the van's back door unfrozen and open, when we asked why the key wasn't working in the ignition, and then he figured out we were working on the wrong truck (in single digit weather). We were not told to fill in the online "assessment" of the van prior to leaving the location, and once we started doing that, we noticed the dashboard of the van said that one of the wheels was low on air (this message also prevented us from seeing the mileage amount.) The agents in the building did not all have face masks on.BRADFORD C.
