When I went to your website I selected the location where I wanted to pick up the truck. I didn't notice until after I checked out that it was switched to one 40 miles away. There is no ability on your site to edit an order so I tried 3 times to call. The first time was a 21 minute wait and I was at work so couldn't hold that long. The second time was a 12 minute wait and I was driving so I held on. After about 13 minutes a recording came on that said you're experiencing technical difficulties, goodbye. And it hung up on me. A little while later I called back again and there was a 15 minute wait so I held again. Only to have the same thing happen once more. And now we've paid fir mileage we wouldn't have had if we could have picked it up at my original location. My first suggestion is to have the ability to edit an order that was just placed. My second suggestion is to have better customer service.

Small unprofessional dirty but very friendly
Nothing. The experience was easy and pleasant.
I was charged an extra $54 for an extra day fee because the online system was down when we dropled the uhaul off. The uhaul was dropped off the same day it was picked up but due to the system being down I had to pay an extra $54 and my receipt stating it was dropped off the next day. Attempted to call the location with no answer. Definitely do not recommend the drop off location.

Why do you let people reserve equipment, Blankets and whatever if there there is no chance in hell that it will be available?
Although I was allowed to schedule my own pick up time (I chose 8am and we arrived at 7:45am) online, we found in the morning of the rental that the location didn't permit pick up (the app stated the key wasn't available.) Uhaul customer service suggested we wait until they open, so we waited. They did not open at 9am, as they were supposed to. We called Uhaul customer service back after 9am. First, they said that Uhaul wouldn't allow them to open because of Covid-19. So why are they renting trucks, if they can't be opened, and I personally spoke to the man at that location the day before the rental, and he never said he wasn't allowed to be opened on Saturday?? They tried to call the owner/employee at "every phone number available for him," but were unable to get hold of anyone. Finally, they arranged for us to pick up a truck in Charlottesville and permitted us to drop it off in Covington, VA without additional cost. My husband is on chemo and he was sick in a car for over an hour and a half waiting to get this straightened out. Additionally, we were told there were no 10ft trucks available, forcing us into a 15 ft truck, but there was three 10ft trucks in the muddy lot and when we got back that evening, the 15 ft truck was gone. Who rented a truck from a closed business?? If the business wasn't closed, why wasn't someone there to assist us?
Put the actually price on their website. The website and the price he charge was different because website did not put taxes on the u-haul.
I scheduled my rental months in advance. I was supposed to pick it up at Batc county supply in Virginia. I called u haul a couple times as time got closer to re confirm, I did again about 10 days before pick up all was good. I went to the original pick up location (Bath county supply) he didn't have any information about it he contacted u haul and his local rep about it. Finally got the information. He asked me to contact him on thursday May 21st I went to his location on that day. He couldn't get any information from u haul and said he would call me as soon as u haul got back to him. Now Friday morning u haul calls me and told me they have a truck at another location an hour away from my place. That they will lower the price if I can pick it up there. Buy the tow dolly is over an hour away from my place in the opposite direction. This wont work. Then I get a call from the place I would pick up everything he said he had my truck I told him what u haul said about the tow dolly being a couple hours away from his place. He said he has a tow dolly. I told him I was going to call u haul and double check this. Also that I was going to stop by Bath county supply to find out if anything was going on there. That I would call him back when I got there and found out.I stopped at Bath county supply they hadn't heard anything from anyone at u haul. So it looks like u haul left him hanging. He said to go ahead and get the truck and dolly from the other place. So I did and a day earlier. The place I picked it I called them and they had truck and tow dolly ready to go when I got there. They messed up on the Invoice and double charged me. I had to contact my bank about this. Also I had a tire on the truck blow out on the highway. I called u h8and it was repaired in a little over an hour and I was on my way.. I have used u haul several times and this has to be the worst. Each time there seem to be little issues not like this last time. So what are you going to do about this? Thank You Leroy Fisher
Location not opened on sundays, so i had to pick up on saturday, although online it allowed me to pick sunday as option, and instead of getting .89c a mile for sun. I was charged 1.29 a mile.
No one is ever at this place. Originally had reservations for this location and moved across street from here. Had to go way out of my way to get to other uhaul place and still went over my budget milage.
They did everything to accommodate a last-minute rental need. The only problem was that the rate I was charged was significantly different from that online.
COMMENT: This truck we rented needs transmission work. JUST FYI

This location had a great stock of UHaul vans, enclosed trailers and open trailers. It was convenient and easy.
Make sure your trucks are in running order.i had to continue to jump the truck I thought I got it fixed and I did not . The truck would not start when I picked it up should have been given another truck befor I let the lot . And I still have not got the other money back on my card . Just really disappointed with the whole experience I would not recommend any of my friends or family use U-Haul
This was by far the worst experience I have ever had with any rental company. I reserved and prepaid for a 26' box truck and was given confirmation that that box truck would be at the location the next morning. When I called to confirm the unhelpful employee told me all he could give me was a 10' truck... this was after I received confirmation of my 26' truck at this location. I finally got through to customer service and they "found" an available 26' truck 1.5 hours away. I was give confirmation that when I showed up the next morning that truck would be available for mobile pickup... I showed up at 7am the next morning. No one was present. I waited on the phone with customer service until 8:15am. I was then told the 26' truck is not available for mobile pickup (This is after confirmation and driving 3hrs round trip). I was given a 20' truck (no refund, apology, or cost change) and sent on my way by 8:30am. I had movers sitting at my house for over 1.5 hours (which is labor that I had to pay for) because I was supposed to pick up my 26' box truck at 7:00am. I was only able to move a portion of my belongings due to this failure on UHaul's part. I will have to travel back across the state in order to move the rest of my belongings. To say I am frustrated and quite frankly shocked by this poor and unprofessional service would be an understatement. UHaul has failed to recognize and fix the problem they have been created.
With the new self checkout and online reservation everything worked very well.
I originally made a reservation to pick up on 7/7. When I called to change the pick up time, I discovered my pick up location had been changed to an hour away. I decided to pick up a the trailer a day sooner than I needed it at a closer location. I always decline all insurance and coverages when I rent cars and all other rentals. I'm sure I declined coverage when I made reservation. After changing the time and location, I was unable to make the pickup. My son picked up. Now I've discovered coverage has been added back onto to my contract. I called the 800 number and was told since I have no documentation of the original reservation, I'm screwed. My confirmation email has a link my contract number, but it takes me to the revised location and time. I can't find an email that shows my original reservation. What a pain a UHaul is. I will not recommend it to others.
Necessary equipment available and in good shape. Got the job done and within budget.
I had to wait for 30 minutes while the staff was at a lunch break when he was extremely slow to help customers and provided very little information. The main problem, not the fault of the pickup location, was that I was only told the day before my move that I had to drive 3 hours out of my way to pick up the truck. Unless I receive a call, I will never use UHaul again.
Location was supposed to open at 9:00 a.m. and no one showed up until almost 9:30. Once they showed up however, they did very well.
The man that seemed to be in charge was on the phone when I entered the building. There was another man there and they were too engrosed in the conversation to acknowledge me. I waited for about 5 min before the second man finally acknowledged me. Neither the pickup location or the drop off location provided good customer service.
