VAN HThey showed up almost an hour late saying they were affected by the weather. However they had a Hardee's bag in hang. No apology, then they went on to cancel my reservation, and make a new one giving me less mileage and costing me more money.
Joseph WNot sure why our drop off location was here vs. in Lewisburg, WV which was closer. Not far off of I-64. Signage to front entrance of this location was hard to find. Maybe a simple U-Haul sign and arrow to small office would help The rep at this location was very helpful
Dorothy KDrop of location was confusing. Trailers and trucks were at 3 locations. No one was at location. Drove around looking for where to drop off. Will never rent from uhaul again. Then uhaul wanted to charge me another $20.00 I'm guessing from being late , since I drove around and around trying to figure which lot was correct. Experience was the horrible. Thanks for nothing

Robert HThe truck was dirty and wet. We also had a lot of issues with contacting the location anytime we had issues. No return calls were made from the shop. We were over changed and still haven't heard from a Uhaul rep.

Rachel JI called in and asked for a 10' truck. There were 10' trucks on the lot, but I got a 15' truck. I have arthritis in the knees and hip, I need the 'lowest to ground' that I can get. The truck right beside the one I got was a 10', low to the ground. The directions were hard to understand, but this was my first time renting online, so a few snags are expected

TEAL HWe had to move a few pieces of furniture and the small truck was just the ticket. It was the perfect size. Only needed it one day. The move worked out well. The truck was easy to drive and a breeze to work with. Clean and nice. The gentleman renting it was very helpful and great to work with. Thank you very much!

RONALDANDREW AI was re-routed to the Covington location on the day I was scheduled to pick up the truck from Blacksburg, then Christiansburg. This was very inconvenient and cost me additional time and money for gas.

douglas mThe truck that was rented to me online was broke down. So they had to issue me a refund (which hasn't came back in my bank account yet) and I had to rent out a different truck and pay the amount again since the refund hasn't been processed yet. Then we got into the truck and it hadn't been cleaned. There was sticky stuff all in the cupholders and on the floor. The seats had crumbs all in the back of it. It should've been cleaned and sanitized when we got in the truck and it wasn't.
Timothy BWhen I went to your website I selected the location where I wanted to pick up the truck. I didn't notice until after I checked out that it was switched to one 40 miles away. There is no ability on your site to edit an order so I tried 3 times to call. The first time was a 21 minute wait and I was at work so couldn't hold that long. The second time was a 12 minute wait and I was driving so I held on. After about 13 minutes a recording came on that said you're experiencing technical difficulties, goodbye. And it hung up on me. A little while later I called back again and there was a 15 minute wait so I held again. Only to have the same thing happen once more. And now we've paid fir mileage we wouldn't have had if we could have picked it up at my original location. My first suggestion is to have the ability to edit an order that was just placed. My second suggestion is to have better customer service.

Charles BI was charged an extra $54 for an extra day fee because the online system was down when we dropled the uhaul off. The uhaul was dropped off the same day it was picked up but due to the system being down I had to pay an extra $54 and my receipt stating it was dropped off the next day. Attempted to call the location with no answer. Definitely do not recommend the drop off location.

David CAlthough I was allowed to schedule my own pick up time (I chose 8am and we arrived at 7:45am) online, we found in the morning of the rental that the location didn't permit pick up (the app stated the key wasn't available.) Uhaul customer service suggested we wait until they open, so we waited. They did not open at 9am, as they were supposed to. We called Uhaul customer service back after 9am. First, they said that Uhaul wouldn't allow them to open because of Covid-19. So why are they renting trucks, if they can't be opened, and I personally spoke to the man at that location the day before the rental, and he never said he wasn't allowed to be opened on Saturday?? They tried to call the owner/employee at "every phone number available for him," but were unable to get hold of anyone. Finally, they arranged for us to pick up a truck in Charlottesville and permitted us to drop it off in Covington, VA without additional cost. My husband is on chemo and he was sick in a car for over an hour and a half waiting to get this straightened out. Additionally, we were told there were no 10ft trucks available, forcing us into a 15 ft truck, but there was three 10ft trucks in the muddy lot and when we got back that evening, the 15 ft truck was gone. Who rented a truck from a closed business?? If the business wasn't closed, why wasn't someone there to assist us?
Christopher CPut the actually price on their website. The website and the price he charge was different because website did not put taxes on the u-haul.
Adrienne CI scheduled my rental months in advance. I was supposed to pick it up at Batc county supply in Virginia. I called u haul a couple times as time got closer to re confirm, I did again about 10 days before pick up all was good. I went to the original pick up location (Bath county supply) he didn't have any information about it he contacted u haul and his local rep about it. Finally got the information. He asked me to contact him on thursday May 21st I went to his location on that day. He couldn't get any information from u haul and said he would call me as soon as u haul got back to him. Now Friday morning u haul calls me and told me they have a truck at another location an hour away from my place. That they will lower the price if I can pick it up there. Buy the tow dolly is over an hour away from my place in the opposite direction. This wont work. Then I get a call from the place I would pick up everything he said he had my truck I told him what u haul said about the tow dolly being a couple hours away from his place. He said he has a tow dolly. I told him I was going to call u haul and double check this. Also that I was going to stop by Bath county supply to find out if anything was going on there. That I would call him back when I got there and found out.I stopped at Bath county supply they hadn't heard anything from anyone at u haul. So it looks like u haul left him hanging. He said to go ahead and get the truck and dolly from the other place. So I did and a day earlier. The place I picked it I called them and they had truck and tow dolly ready to go when I got there. They messed up on the Invoice and double charged me. I had to contact my bank about this. Also I had a tire on the truck blow out on the highway. I called u h8and it was repaired in a little over an hour and I was on my way.. I have used u haul several times and this has to be the worst. Each time there seem to be little issues not like this last time. So what are you going to do about this? Thank You Leroy Fisher
