horrible service when i called about getting moving straps i had left in the back of the van i rented. Was told it was at the shop and that the manager would call me back once the shop manager got back in. I called the shop myself and was told van had already headed off to auction and that he the shop manager was unaware of straps being left in there. Stories arent adding up so i will never rent from you guys again and will inform all my friends and family to do the same

I need d to ammend my contract for a longer amount of time. Associate stated that it would cost me $50.00 to extend the contract. Would have been less expensive to return and rent another vehicle. This will definitely affect my next move decision for a rental truck.

Truck had no get up and go when gas pedal down near floor. Called to get different truck and no more available. After leaving Corpus Christi the check engine light came on. We checked all fluids and they were good. Tried to call, but office was closed on Sunday. Could not drive more than 55 miles an hour and took us an extra 3 hours for a trip to Arlington, TX. So we where on the road 11 hours instead of 8. I had my husband and 89 year old mother in the U-Haul truck and my handicapped 88 year old father and wheelchair bound daughter in my van. We were honked at for going so slow and middle finger gestured for our speed all the way from Corpus to Arlington. I also was surprised that I had to give the Corpus Christi office and extra $100.00 for a deposit after I had rented the truck online. The employee had also put the I would have the truck returned at 9:00am on Monday when I had contracted until 5:00pm.

The customer service was terrible. The man who helped us was the general manager according to his name tag. He was unfriendly and rude. Even when customers like us came in he didn’t even acknowledge us. Not a smile, welcome, be right with you. And then it just seemed like he hates his job. Maybe he does, but then move on to something else. Don’t spread the misery to your customers.

I was inconvenienced by this store. Did not have furniture dolly, appliances hand truck, and utility hand truck available when I came in for my 10:00 am appointment. I think if you do a online reservation, U-haul needs honor the online sale or tell you at the time of booking if requested equipment is available or not. I am not sure I will come back to U-haul again after my ordeal this morning.

Would be nice to know that you have made changes like the upload of damages to the vehicle before you leave I was not aware of that it’s always been done manually on paper and then once I knew it did not want to up load pictures then I got worried At the end everything turned out okay though Thank you Rigelio Leon Garcia

I was told when I rented the car hauling trailer it was for 24 hour period. Was picked up on the 2-15-20 at 930 am. Got text message at 245 pm saying trailer had to be back by 3 pm or I would incur $20 charge. I don’t see how you can charge the same rate for 6 hours or 24 hour period. I will not be renting anything else from U-Haul. I will gladly pay a little more for Penske rental. In very disappointed in the customer service as well from this location

The general manager was rude and didn’t know certain aspects of his job. I rented and returned a u haul truck filled it up with gas. They ended up saying it was 15/16 of a full tank but when I received it it was at 7/8 of a tank. When I turned it in the general manager told me that they were going to charge me for the gas when I showed him the time stamped photo proving that it was at 7/8 he still told me it was my fault and that I would have to pay. After arguing to him that this wasn’t right he told me I had to pay I said I don’t care anymore, obviously annoyed that a company as big as I haul would nickel and dime someone over 1/8 of a tank. Especially since I had proof that it wasn’t what they said it was. Also my storage unit that I have been paying for 6 months and finally got an apartment. I tried to move my stuff out and talked to the same general manager that since I was only going to use it for 3 days if he could pro rate the storage unit. He told me no. However we did manage to settle on half the amount. Which was $57 for three days..... I will never use u haul again even if they are a little cheaper. They nickel and dime you on everything.

TWO REASONS PENSKE IS BETTER 1- UNLIMITED MILES FOR ONE WAY, as opposed to Uhaul , charged me for extra miles 2- RENTAL FOR 3 DAYS WITH PENSKE where as Uhaul is 24 hours 3-PENSKE VEHICLES ARE NEW VEHICLES AS OPPOSED TO UHAUL

My vehicle, a 10ft. Truck, lacked adequate adjustment features for the driver’s seat. The steering wheel was positioned so high I had to look through it to see out the windshield. The seats were horrible and the knob on the manual window handle was broken. Uncomfortable ride, so shock absorbers.
