Easy pick up and drop off, helpful employees.
My reservation was for a 6-12' trailer and a dolly. The trailer was to arrive at 8:00am, so I made my reservation for 10:30 am to give them plenty of time to inspect and service the trailer for my 500 mile one way trip. Upon arriving the guy informed me that there was no dolly at this location, but did not offer any help in locating a store with a dolly...that was another hour of my day wasted of my busy day finding a dolly which was on my reservation. After asking him if the trailer had been serviced, he looked at me, kicked the tires and said "they look good". Pretty sure that there is an inspection upon reception of equipment, correct? That is the reason for the "poor" evaluation. My safety was not in consideration.
I confirmed a dolly (twice), and when I came to pick up the truck the dolly was not available for use, so I ended up having to purchase a dolly. That being said, the truck was in good condition.

U-hauls Towing policy, "our validation process does not assess your vehicle clearance. If you see that your vehicle is low, you will need to decide prior to transporting your vehicle whether you want to proceed knowing that damage will be your responsibility or return the equipment unused for a full refund." I knowingly knew that my vehicle was going to be damaged so I proceeded to return tow dolly (after hours) same evening. Due to pandemic situation, I wrote on rental agreement that I determined dolly would damage vehicle so returned same day for full refund (after hours, put rental agreementin one of the after hours box for employee to have next day when checkingin equipment. I have yet to receive an email about a refund or a phone call. I've worked for U-Haul and done the training and assessments in Fort Worth. I can tell you right now that my situation would have been taken care of by my previous store manager in a timely manner.
I want a full refund. This is three out oof last five rentals from haul I ordered and paid in advance for movers that never showed up and I returned the truck with no use of it due to fact I am handicapped and can't move myself with my 10o pound body that has one good hand....not too to pick up and carry. I drove it home I drove it for soda to wait for movers I drovel my friend home that came to help cause they too are disabled. Either have movers at u-haul or stop letting your customers get ripped off by uhual and it's setup to not provide help only transport which will not get used due to fact no ties or dedicated work as movers for u-haul only. An exclusive contract ...i.e. uhual subcontractors....maybe it would make a giant difference...... Give me a full refund. This practice is becoming what I call a "deceptive sale tactic," and against uscpa law.
Even though a mistake was made in the reservation date, the clerk was able to accommodate me with the same equipment at the same rate. I was very pleased.

No one ever acknowledged I was there
Overcharged, didn't have anything ready. Had to go to 3 different uhauls for a dolly that was suppose to be in truck
When we dropped off the trailer the I'd number was written down wrong on the invoice so they had no record of the trailer return. The whole rental thing was a mess and hope I don't want to do it again.
I dropped off trail a little after 7p and my son and I had trouble unhooking it..I notice there was a worker inside..I knocked on the door and he stood a motioned to me to go away!! I knocked again and begged him to please help me..he came to the door and said he could not step out on the lot and that I just had to figure it out..and am disabled, we had packed and drove 5 hours and then returned the trailer...my son and I finally got trailer unhooked..by this time the worker came out of the building..my son yelled at him and Yes he was rude.. Told the worker he should be ashamed of himself..he negan yelling at my son"come over and say that to my face and began to approach my suburban..I locked my door and told him I was calling 911..he said go ahead..his vehicle was parked in front of mine and he would not move it...at this point my hands began to shake and i was truly worried about our safety..at this i yelled that I apologized and to please move his vehicle .he just kept laughing and continued to bait my son into a violent confrontation...I had problems sleeping last night knowing that this individual had privy to my personal information.. i.e...my address!!! I have used Uhaul several time s for my business and have never been so mistreated and abusive...my opinion is he should lose his job and believe me I have never wished that on anybody..thx..Melissa Nunn..830-385-1491
Kind of a long wait time but not awful. They men that helped us were very good!! So helpful, thorough, kind. Our haul trailer filled a great need for us Saturday! I will do this again, recommend it to others, and go to the exact same place!! Top notch!!
Make your online return easier to use I sat in front of the store after hours when I returned my equipment and sent pictures and all required info to the website and I was still charged an entire extra day. I'm super disappointed with the way U-haul represents itself, unfortunately you have the market on small rentals when it comes to trailers so we has the public have but no choice but to use you when needed so great job in being a very dishonest customer service
Friendlier staff, cleaner vehicles
Very slow and disinterested service. Tried to get me into a smaller size trailer than what I wanted , which would not have fit all of my things.
No one to help for quick returns. Waited in line for 30 minutes before someone finally said all I had to do was leave the keys and my contract.
Attendant was very hard working and made sure to truck was set up to go.
The check out area appeared clean but crammed with stuff.
Friendly service from two store customer service reps. First guy hooked it up and hassle free, when we returned, didn't have to get out of the truck. 100% efficient and effortless for the renter. Thank you for hiring great guys like Kristopher C. and Joshua! Because of these two, this is the recommended site for all of our rental needs. Outstanding!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND U-HAUL. Terrible business practice, does not stand behind their word.
We experienced tire trouble which may have been prevented had the tires been checked and maintained. It caused us to have a two hour delay to our destination.
