Make sure your customer gets either a confirmation phone call, text, or email for their designated pickup location. I would hate for someone to drive to three different locations, spend an hour and a half on the phone with your company, and burn over fifty miles of their own gas LIKE I DID since I never received any confirmation as Uhaul states that it will. I will NEVER be using Uhaul again. This was an absolutely horrible experience. The worst part of it? My roommate's parents rented a Uhaul two days prior to this, and they had almost exactly the same experience. DO BETTER.

Harold checked me in on Wednesday and was great and so was the rest of staff In all. I called Thursday after hours and spoke with Harold as to move day of return to Saturday, he said call in am. I called in am and the truck was rented that day. There was no way I could unload nor drive and I was by myself. My friend and I packed all nite and day till I called Harold Thursday nite. I couldn’t even stand nor move without excruciating pain from packing and loading) I threw out my back -sciatica and aggravated 3 bulging discs and that caused calves and chins to tighten) . Needless to say I was in Tears about bringing it back . The lady I spoke with couldn’t do anything but transferd me to corporate who also understood as she did......They moved to Saturday and I was able to get it back. (My soon to be ex had to come get me with his friend and they unloaded as I gave him no choice as he got his things I packed several weeks ago with a borrowed trailer but conveniently couldn’t take nor help me. This is the lake house I sold. I had No reason for filing for divorce.... I am so Greatful to all of the people at this store from Harold on and corporate for accommodating me.....and how friendly they all where from beginning to end as I’m sure they where saying “Yeah Right” but didn’t act that way..... I’ve had 30 yrs in Retail so I know how things work. But, it’s a pleasure to be treated the way I’ve always treated my staff and my customers no matter what. Harold and his staff are outstanding!!! The manager did not call me back to work on my gas discrepancy

Needs more diligence to the request of the consumer. I specifically requested to self checkout my vehicle but they did not have my key accessible to be able to do that without coming inside the location. The location closed at 8pm but did not put the key to the assigned vehicle in the lockbox. Fortunately I arrived before they left for the evening but I had to almost beg for the keys from one person who informed me I had to come back to pickup in the morning, when I explained I requested self check and it already check me in and billed my card and told me to get my keys he said, "I just work here" and we are closed you can wait until the manager comes out and ask him. Apparently he never told the manager I was outside and checked in and just need the key, some other gentlman came out and questioned why I was standing there and pointed me to the key box and I explained it didn't give me a key box code, it instructed me to go inside but inside was closed as it turned after 8pm as I checked in and took pictures of the vehicle which had many scratches and blemishes and was very, very dirty. The vehicle served it's purpose to provide clothes and items to the homeless but it was very stressful, unduly.

The trucks were park so close together i couldn't squeeze through but when i told the manger she told me i had to wait until someone became free to help. I had movers waiting that were getting paid by the hour so i squeezed through and was able to get it out. As I was driving home i felt something crawling up my leg and saw that the Cab of truck was infested with ANTS which delayed my move by 2 hours which I'm sure the movers had to issue as they were through Uhaul. l. Called customer store to complain but was connected to customer service line in which they listened and said a General Manger would get back to me within 24 hours. To date I've heard nothing so I called back and got the store in which the guy who answered said I had to call back and speak to Christine as she was out that day. I've tried to call all morning and to date reached no one. This is not the way you treat customers.



The young man (Wayne- he has dreadlocks) who pulled my U-Haul truck around was rude and disrespectful. I have rented from this location several times and had a storage unit here and I have never been treated that way before. He intentionally parked the U-Haul truck in the rain and we had to check the vehicle for marks in the rain. When I asked him why he didn’t pull underneath the canopy as he was asked to do he got an attitude and stated that he pulled the truck up and that’s all that matters. None of the rest of the U-Haul members said anything to correct his behavior.

To improve service, this location can stick to reservation times and not be almost an hour later. Or when the truck doesn’t show up, don’t promise a bigger truck then back out at the last minute. Workers need to meet customers promptly at the pick up/drop off area to get the customer on the road as soon as possible (especially after waiting almost an hour). Have more personnel working the desk to assist with fast and efficient check in and out process. This was by far one of the worst U-Haul rentals I’ve ever experienced.

Please make sure you have more than one person available when we drop the trucks off. The guy there was stretched out and appeared stressed out so it took a minute before he could get to Me as so many people were dropping off at the same time.

I was charged for safemove when I did not need/want it. Someone dropped the ball on that one. I registered online and checked no still was asked in store again an even then did not confirm it and was charged for it. Why give it as an option if you still want to charge me. I should be reimbursed and whomever charged me should be the one to pay that fee.

Not sure you could improve I booked online to save time. It certainly worked while I have used U-Haul many times over the years. I have to compliment this particular location amazing staff amazing service.
