I was told in an email that the truck would be ready at 8 am for self service pick up. It was not available which meant I had to wait until 9 am when they opened Nd I had hired movers. When I brought this up to the clerk at this location she was very snotty and unapologetic. Because of this mess up my truck was late for the movers I had hired and it cut into their time.

Person over location was somewhat rude to other worker. Not sure why she couldn't have gotten on a different computer and helped me out instead of making me wait for the other person to finish taking care of other customer.

I had ordered a 15' with a car tow and made a reservation, the first location called me back and changed my pickup time to 4:30. When I called to pick it up I found out that they closed at 4, meaning 25 minutes on hold to redirect to this location, but when I got there the guy at that desk said they didn't have my equipment available. Irate I called AGAIN and spoke to a manager at Uhaul, they told me they DID have the equipment so I went BACK in and they realized they did in fact have my tow, but only a 20' truck available. The manager failed to include my moving blankets and hand dolley with my order and I did not realize until later. Then while attaching the tow dolley to the truck I asked the guy to show me how to secure my car correctly and he replied disgruntled that, "There's a bunch of videos on YouTube" then finally showed me after I persisted. Moving across the country it's important to know how to safely move my car. This entire time I had family from out of town helping me move sitting in their truck waiting for a couple hours for this crap to get straightened out. I sincerely hope I never have to go through Uhaul again because this entire experience was massively underwhelming and disappointing.

I rented the truck a 20' and i hired 2 people to load it and the door wouldn't come down I called back to the storage and the only thing she could tell me was to unload it and bring it back and reload another truck or drive it to the storage no sorry I'll send somebody over to help I had to drive to the storage place with the door wide open and all she said is I'm not uhaul we do storage we just rent uhaul like it's just a side job and they knew it was something wrong with one of the trucks because she said they had problems with the door getting stuck she said you have to work with it I'm so glad my help didn't cut off fingers because that would have been tragic for him and your company and I still paid full price for that truck and mileage do you know how embarrassing and stressful it was to drive that big a** truck with the door wide open with all my things hanging out and I had to go up 2 hills I'm sure people thought we had lost our minds

My movie experience was terrible thanks to uhaul! The only way it was bearable was Sylvia a lady that works there! I reserved a 26 foot U-Haul and it was not ready when I got there not only did you not have the U-Haul I reserved 3 weeks prior you did not have a uhaul available for rental at all nor did you have my reservation. Because of this I was not able to move all of my stuff and did not get out of my house in time. I ended up with a 15 foot truck that someone happen to turn in and a 12 foot trailer that they found in the back and wasn't in the system. I spent over an hour and a half there while the movers I paid were sitting at my house. All tho the truck and trailer come out to be 27 feet long the trailer is not as tall as a 26 foot truck. I do not have another free weekend to move the rest of my stuff for another month so it has to sit in the house that I've already rented out . This has caused so much headache and financial stress. Although I would recommend the location because of Sylvia, the lady who did everything she could to help I would not recommend the company. I did not receive any notice that there was a problem until I showed up to pick my truck up. Someone should really have better records so this does not happen to someone else and when you reserve a truck the truck should be at the location when you arrive to pick it up. That was a terrible way to do business!

When we first arrived at StoreSmart, the Uhaul system was down. There was less than adequate room to park the Uhaul equipment. They encouraged me to leave the key there and they would run the receipt when the system was up and running again. They also asked me to park the large van because they did not have people to park it. I was glad to back it up and Park it in a very tight and difficult location to make it easier on them. I was supposed to leave the fuel gauge to at least 75% full, but I wanted to fill it up to full. I put an extra $25 in there when I gassed it up before I arrived to the StoreSmart location. Just to show my appreciation to U-Haul. I got an email after the system was up showing that they charged me for going 3 miles over the allotted mileage. I did not do anything different or go anywhere different except from the location center to the house and to The StoreSmart center in Conway. I thought that since I brought the U-Haul van back in excellent condition with the gas tank fulland by parking the U-Haul van myself in a tight and difficult location (helping them out) and making it easier on them, I would think that they would show some appreciation by waving that extra fee of slightly going over the mileage. StoreSmart in Conway gives a bad name to U-Haul. They were not equipped and they seemed disorganized. I do not recommend StoreSmart to anybody else.

Went to drop off location that was on my contract and highlighted for me with specific place and address. Once there the customer service was terrible. Was told at least 3 times they didn't have me scheduled and when I tried to show the printout from the pickup location and where the drop off location was highlighted for me was told "it was all on the computer and they didn't need to look at that paper" however, they hadn't no record or schedule of me dropping off truck and they were "almost" full. Took several minutes to get them to just check me in and get the truck returned a day early! Once again customer service terrible

There was an alarm that went off the whole trip. Looked like a gas gage alarm in the top left corner. It constantly went on and off. The AC would cycle off and on. It was tolerable for a short trip, but just happy I did not have to go further in it!

The online reservation process does not work!!! I reserved the truck for 7:30, it was not available. I tried it at least 4 or 5 times. I called the owner and he tried to work with me to get it working and couldn't. I ended up having to wait until the office opened at 9am and walked out of there at 9:30 -- without the appliance dolly that I called in to add to my order the day that I place the order. I ended up having to pay an extra 1.5 hours EACH for two laborers that I had hired to help with the move. That is NOT acceptable!

I had the quick check in but there were several people in line when I got There but only one person checking people in. Really?? You need 2 especially on Memorial weekend. Check in guy was nice, polite and helpful and he was doing a great job but He had to also answer phones and it was more than one person could handle. Shame on this location for not having someone help him!

I reserved this location to pick up the truck and multiple items. I was then told to go to another location to get the truck but they didn't have the extra supplies I reserved so I then had to go to yet another location to get those. Also the suspension in the truck was awful which caused for a very rough ride. Many things that had been packed in and strapped down well came undone by the awful ride.

I was told that I would be charged 19.95 for the 15" due to them not having the 10" but was charged 29.95 and I was charged the insurance that I declined. I am not happy with the charges and these charges have not been corrected
