This is my 4th rental in a month. The lady at the desk was rude and a bit hostile, even disrupting the customer transaction in front of me to inform her co-worker that "they are scheduling surgery". My turn. After being interrogated about my reasonings for my reservation and it's intented purpose, I was informed that they needed to "verify" my 2 phone numbers on file. Lady asked if I had my cell phone on me, then proceeded to call it, without informing me of such. Lady stated policy was to verify my numbers, which I've NEVER had to do before (not for any of my numerous rentals over the past 15 years); but when calling my 2nd number (my parents), she requested them to vouch "if {I am} a good person to rent to". This was highly disrespectful and rude, especially since the lobby contained other customers. Then she said I had to provide a 3rd number, stating the computer system just updated my account; again requesting (from my brother this time) to vouch "if {I am} a good person". If that wasn't bad enough, she attempted to charge me for a much higher insurance rate than I reserved nor wanted, and then the computer "gliched" and was charging me double. When I was finally done, more than 20 min later, I had to wait another 20 min just to get the trailer - which a different lady was rude about it. The trailer was just "returned" but they did not do a walk thru with me after getting it connected - I was unaware if the lights worked properly. The whole interaction was a disaster and quite frustrating. If this is policy, then make it across all locations and authorized dealers - but don't treat customers like crap. I will not be returning to this location, EVER.

Poor service and had to go through a bunch of bullshit to get a trailer. And on top of that had to go to tree locations and wait two hour to get it. Over all it should have been no stars. And I will never use uhaul ever again!

It was super busy. Which is good. But I had to wait a hour after my reservation to get my truck. This cost me 70 dollars in moving fees as they were just waiting. The line was long for awhile. Maybe hire someone else to run register. Whitney sucks.

Took me 10 minutes to get to a rep. Then once the paperwork was done another 30 minutes to to get the trailer I was assigned. Had to hunt down someone to get it, not good experience at all

Be specific when renting a van that can only be returned to the location we picked it up from.. Whitney said we could return it to the Academy and Hancock location and that was not the case.. NEVER GONNA USE UHAUL AGAIN!!

Truck had many mechanical noises. Reserved truck was not at verified location. Location where truck was picked up was very difficult to find the office, no signage. New location was further of a drive for me causing me to have to spend more money on fuel. All around a very poor experience. I will not choose uhaul in the future.

It took over 1 and 1/2 hours to check and pick up my trailer. I asked for a 5x8 utility open trailer. The man who checked me in, assigned a enclosed trailer so I had go through the check in process another time. The lady who did the 2nd check in had her act together and was able to get the process done quickly. The process involved calling the telephone numbers that I provided as contact numbers. The idiot young man doing the first check in, asked my wife " who are you?". Dumb question when it was he who was calling. He should have identified himself and the business and then asked if she knew me. The whole telephone process was an invasion of privacy. You have my personal data, making the calls is stupid to the max.

This lot is so big and equipment is all over the place, it was impossible to know where my van was for the self check in. there were vans all over the place. Then, once located, I had to walk all the way across the lot again to the lock box for the key. once in my van I QUICKLY realized the lasted person to drive it had smoked marijuana in it because the first 3 of my 4 rental days, the van stunk so badly it was nauseating. The van was very clean inside.

We were given a 20 foot truck with 1/16th tank of gas and i was told if we bring the duck back with at least a quarter of a tank of gas that we would be reimbursed some money ($35). At the drop off location, we were told that there was no reimbursement even though wer dropped off the truck with a half tank of gas.

Stop lying and saying the 100 dollar deductible will be given back to you then say you cant give it back, also when you rent for 4 days 710 miles and only have it for 2 days and drive 500 miles shouldnt you a as a customer be given back the difference..? But mention it to the manager and he will try to fight you...?

Due to the renovation it was so hectic, hot, and miserable at this location. Not to mention a long line. One person was working the reservation desk. Everyone else was outside.

The people who rent the trucks to you are so slow and seem not to care about getting people moving. Longest wait ever! After they finally got me checked out they told me to wait outside until one of the guys found me. When I went outside there was no one around so I had to wait again. I also hate how we are all treated like theives. I understand Uhaul has had problems in the past, but some of us just want to rent a truck, not steal it. The Fountain location is better than this place. I would never refer anyone to this slow place where customer service does not exist.
