I traveled from Wilmington, DE to Chester, PA to get a pick-up truck because the CSR I made the reservation through said that was the closest U-Haul location that had pick-up trucks available. When I got to the Chester location they told me they had no pick-up trucks available , hadn't had any all day, and wouldn't have any until the next afternoon. I accepted a van instead and made it work. I called the U-Haul toll-free number to lodge my complaint and a case ID# was issued - 3085414. I was told I'd be contacted within 24 hours. That was 4 days ago and I still haven't heard from U-Haul. So much for your guarantee. Not happy.GERALD W.

I rented the 15-feet box truck on 1/15/2021. The representative only highlighted the mileage and fuel level on the contract for me to verify. I did not realize that he wrote the contract only for 3 hours instead of 24 hours. Later, when I realized later that he only put 3 hours instead of 24 hours, I called the office to inform them of the mistake. They gave me a hard time, and tried to charge me again for another day with the knowledge that they only give me 3 hours instead of 24 hours, and also wanted me to make another down payment. I had to rush to return the truck before close time just to avoid these additional charges they were asking me to pay. Note: My understanding is that U-Haul rental agreement is daily not hourly.MALICK S.
