The location was a repair shop and the mechanic had to call the person handling the UHaul part of the business, waited 30 minutes for him to arrive when I had a reservation. The drop off was supposed to be in Belleville, NJ and there was no one at the address, it was a laundromat. I called the AJ’s Towing number and the guy said he knew where I was and would be there in 10 min. 45 minutes later I’m still sitting there waiting. I called customer service and asked for the next closest drop off location and the women said it was 1 mile away. When I got the text with the new location in was 30 minutes away. At that point I just wanted to be done and drove the 30 minutes to the new drop off location. Really bad experience UHaul!!! Raise your game!
Jeffrey THonestly it was very intuitive and quick. Extending my rental was very easy and I have no complaints. I personally work for Enterprise and I know how tedious the rental process is, but this was so seamless and a breath of fresh air. 10/10 U-Haul is the only way to go for moving!
THOMAS BI dropped the Truck off at the location listed here, J&S Motorclub 31 S Passaic Ave Chatham NJ 07928 at 6pm on the evening of the day of the rental. I received a call the next morning asking me if I was dropping of the truck that morning at this address: 80 Passaic Ave Florham Park NJ 07932. It was a bit unnerving as I was never given that address for drop off until after I dropped it off at the address given me upon PICK UP.
Guy GAdditional inventory was low. Maybe having hitch and locks available.
